Ann--nice to treat yourself with the ski equipment. I would say it was time and that you deserved it.
I am getting a certain satisfaction from looking at things I have cleaned. However it is very tiring. Today I did the dining room and laundry room.
The vet didn't call so I called and the blood work results aren't back.
The bug guy actually found my ghost ants and was able to treat them and said if I still see them next week to call again. He said they are coming in at the crown molding. So things are moving along.
I saw a couple that evidently clean a house on another street in our community --a man and a woman and he looked very "rough" and I don't know the people who live there but I would be scared around him. so judging a book by it's cover but I really would not want him cleaning here.
Sharon--hope the shuffling went well.
Sandy--good job resisting pizza.
Temp was 88 here today and broke another record
I am reading a 600 page book that is due tomorrow so guess I will keep it since I am just over half thru. We both have Dr. appointments tomorrow.
waving to everyone

I did not come out on top at shuffleboard today, but I had fun and some exercise. Don picked me up and he had 1 1/2 hours of rehab and said his knee hadn't felt this good in a long time. Yay! I am a big believer in rehab and he tends to prefer to baby himself.
Ruth do tell - how to find this on my smart phone. I realize there is no ap.
Joanne I think you are wise to take it slow.
Ann wonderful new boots and skis! Is this for downhill or cross county?
Jane I hope Don does well with the new chemo routine. Poor Kelcy. Hope that clears up. Perhaps the blood work will give you an answer.
Hello to KC.
Karen E I hope that was a good weigh in. I'm sure you did well, you always do.
AOTD I have 2 Omron pedometers and a Fitbit Zip that wears on the waistband. They all need a battery. I should choose one and get going. If Don does 1 1/2 hours of rehab, that leaves me lots of time to exercise. I might take some reading along though.

That is how I was able to connect with you all when I was on vacay this summer in MI and Nov in CA. I had a hard time getting the app to recognize the new board name (without the s) but I did it! Yay!

Everyone was so busy today. It was great reading about everyone's goings on.
Today we went to the Show Palace for there Christmas Spectacular and it was! The show was very creatively choreographed and produced and the young people in the show were so talented. My favorite part was the Nutty Cracker (parody of the Nutcracker). They also had a wonderful meal with prime rib and white fish in wine sauce. They had other items as well but I had the beef and fish and half a plateful of veggies. For dessert they have the best bread pudding and brandy sauce, so I had a small portion of that, too. They had other desserts but I skipped them. It was wonderful afternoon.
It has been a long day and I am tired, so I will check back tomorrow.

I am smiling big time. I had DVRd the Tony Bennett 90th birthday celebration. We should all be functioning like that at 90. Loved the show...the room was filled with love and good music.
20 years...good time to get new skis Ann. I shall have to try Monsoon.
Time for bed and good dreams.

Oh, and in case anyone sees this, I am making a list of books that take place in Greece to read before and when I go to Greece in May. Any recommendations?
