Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well I'm hanging in there. I had a few bad days this week where I didn't get all my daily steps in. I don't like to let myself getaway with that because I can see how easy it would be to go back to sitting around all day. So I'm working at doing all my 100 Day Challenge requirements each day. I tried tracking the first week of January but stopped since it just seemed silly to track food I'm eating when I'm not really following any plan or trying seriously to lose weight. Maybe I'll go back to it when I do get serious. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I started over today. I am practicing today true vegan concentrating on foods that Dr.Neil Barnard set out in a book I had. I shop Monday where I will buy more fruits and vegetables and vegetable broth for lentil stew. Vanessa who is a caregiver just left. We made room for a rower that is coming Monday and will be assembled Tuesday. I bought a rug that is coming Monday to put the rebounder on which is coming Tuesday. I have to have light activity until January 22 since I got aw cortisone shot in my knee. I figure I have to lose weight. Part of that is eating Vegan and part of that is exercise. I am hoping the rower is an all body exercise. Vanessa usually helps me shower. She is coming back Sunday to shower and light cleaning. Today we set up the kitchen for Vegan eating. Cleaned and cleared out toaster and blender.Set out rice cooker for microwave, microwave steamer cups to measure oatmeal and lentils. Corer for apples. Ready for a snowstorm to start tonight and continue to Sunday. It may be part 1 and Part 2. I canceled my rides to WW WW here will probably close for the weekend. U gave find that is not Vegan to donate to the food pantry. I have table I cleared out to make room for the rower to be donated to good will. First we will set up the living room where I sleep on a twin bed because of the tv and the air conditioner. we moved the bed. Much better spot and made room for the rower. I am psyched. I am doing Vegan where the only 2 points I get is the 32 oz vegetable broth for the lentil stew. I hope I get the rower before Russ and I shop Monday. Kivie will be surprised for which she suggester to make room for the rower is done. now I am waiting to be delivered Dr. Neil Bernard's curing diabetes. I am pre diabetic and lots of research show Vegan is the way to stop that. I am also going to get a book that compares foods for nutrient value. I finished my lentil stew for the day. I will have 1 more apple . I will get green peas for a vegetable. And carrots and celery to put in lentil stew. I am so happy. And mo re apples.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the weekend. amyrs - Hope the vegan diet works out for you and that you can get your exercise machines set up so you can use them. sunrose - Hope the WW meeting was good. I'm sticking with my 100 Day Challenge requirements and I'm coming back to that place I get to every month or so where almost all the junk food is gone from the house. I sure wish I could be strong enough not to bring anymore back in. It's difficult to overeat when there isn't much in the house I want to eat

I canceled the rower. Getting the rebounder Tuesday. I lost 3 pounds since last Saturday. I drink so much diet soda. Will try to drink more water. It is more of a struggle than it is to eat good food. It would be so much cheaper to drink water.

I have to be tolerant about the diet soda. I am eating vegan and that is good. At least I can lose weight.

Good morning cj, good for you on the junk food. So true if it isn't there you can't eat it. Amy, hope you can cut back on the diet soda. I use to drink a lot of it, but rarely have one anymore. Waving to all. Feeling overwhelmed about my weight.

Hello Everyone amrys - I used to drink nothing but Diet Coke from morning till night. I finally got myself to drink water all during the day and one Diet Coke after dinner, but it was hard. I make sure to have a pitcher filled with water in my fridge and fill up cups during the day to drink, but sometimes I really have to force myself to drink the water. I wish you the best with getting more water sunrose - I empathize with you about feeling overwhelmed about your weight. I am too and I know I just need to kick myself and get back on track with healthy eating, but it sure is more fun eating high calorie foods Hang in there and keep fighting Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans and in their life.

cj, you are so right about it being more fun to eat high calorie foods. I am doing so, so with the challenge. At least I am more mindful to try and get things in.
Went to jazzercise yesterday. Will do the same today.

sunrose - the challenge has helped me to try to meet those requirements each day, so I'm glad about that even if I'm still eating junk food and doing some overeating. Hope you enjoyed jazzercise. Hope everyone is doing well and having a good day

Hello everyone! Checking in this morning. Dieting is going good. Life is... a bit of a struggle. I took up journaling to get through it, and am feeling better after 'voicing' my frustrations. My son was also sick and missed two days of school but he's feeling better today, so I am grateful for that. Jealous of DotRen, for getting after that spring cleaning! ...maybe next spring for me. lol Have a great day! *Waves to everyone*

Good morning. I am trying today having a 16 oz bottle of Diet Coke in morning. And water the rest of the day. It will save me money. And I had a cup of frozen green peas steamed and 1 slice of whole wheat toast and 1 tablespoon of sugar free jam for breakfast. I am getting early evening a order of frozen green peas. I won't have to buy the Monday if I get all I ordered. I have enough whole wheat bread in refrigerator. Maybe 1 or 2 more jars of sugar free jam. I can pay cash for the delivery this afternoon. I dpiubt they have all the number of ea packages I ordered. I had to order so many to get to 50 dollar minimum. But even if I get 5 packages that would suffice. Monday I could get more when I food shop. I have tons of soda. when I run out doubtfully this year I can uy 3 6 packs for for 2 weeks plus 4. I got a stomach ache last night from eating too much broccoli and Diet Coke. I figured out a cup of green peas steamed for 3 minutes in microwave turns out well. I tried my Health Rider this morning. I could only do it for 1 minute. I have to build up. sam my physical therapist is coming this morning. Maybe he and I can use the Health rider for more exercise. I like Vegan. I keep on losing weight downward. I hoe I can lose 65 mire pounds this year to 170 from high of 263.6 in may 2019. I weighed 233.6 this morning on my home scale which is pretty accurate. Snow storm Tonight into tomorrow. I may have to cancel going to WW just like last Saturday. I will wait for the cab downstairs. If it doesn't come on time I will cancel the rides.
