nashville11, I feel the same way about Bryant. A coach, his wife and daughter all 3 died in that crash. Where's their story?

I agree with you both, Joyce & Rene....I think it is over the top covering the Bryant family. This morning CNN did do a spot on the Coach & his family who were also killed, but my goodness, what, 3 days later. Just darn sad all the way around.
I wonder if Jodi Ernst realizes she just became a Putin Puppet!?! By practically jumping for joy & almost beside herself by making Joe Biden the "bad guy" & hoping that this will hurt his chances at the Iowa caucuses next week. These Senators are just shameless. Seriously, they believe Joe is the worst of the worst, Rudy is a hero, almost, JA did nothing wrong in his own mind, etc....UGH! Any excuse to let JA continue to destroy this country so they can serve another term & not get hammered on Twitter by standing up for whats right!

how much it costs to buy someone's soul? And they don't even know if it's going to work as far as them being re-elected. I sure hope this gamble bites them all in the ass. Regarding Kobe, I've seen the statement "you shouldn't judge a person by the worst act of their life." I'm referring of course to the rape accusation. It does seem like he did not do anything like this again, but I still have a hard time with the hero worship going on right now. There does seem to be some coverage now of the other passengers on the helicopter.

It's like the entire Republican party or at least the elected members of the House and the Senate have been somehow sucked into a universe where there is no thinking or cognition whatsoever. I agree that I hope this comes back to bite each and every one of them. They'd all be standing in the Rose Garden with pitchforks and a hot bucket of tar if a Democrat president did even half of what this JA has done, and yet they just choose to turn a blind eye and pretend it never happened. I am sick of hearing their spiel about the Bidens. Hunter Biden is a grown man. He may have done something very wrong. I don't know. Joe could have done something wrong too although I've seen no evidence. But it's totally beside the point whether they did or not. That has NOTHING to do with what the JA did. Yet they just continue to ignore what they don't want to see or hear. If the Bidens did something wrong, then investigate them. Convict them if they are guilty, but shut up about them in regard to tRumps crimes. It's just mind boggling how they can continue.

Linda, I hope you did too. Lol.
This is not an administration. Not to me. It's a mob. A destructive and dangerous mob.
To all those who say they voted for this thug and his thuggery, because they said they wanted a change in DC, how's that working out for you and yours?
Don't be too hard on yourselves. Putin had more to do with planting this con man in DC than you did. All you have to do is believe you did, and you do believe that. Ah, the power of belief can move mountains and destroy democracy. Hey, it's a change. Isn't that all you ever wanted? Who needs a brilliant politican in the Oval Office when you can have an egotistical thug instead?
I shake my head so hard all the time I'm giving myself a headache. How could people be so damn stupid? Anybody know?

The Biden thing is a distraction. Look over there and there and over there too. Look anywhere at all except at the truth.
These trump worshippers/politicans are the deplorables. A bunch of smug, cunning, lying, wicked, deceitful, nasty people. Drunk with power. And yet they have the blessing of religious folk.
What's wrong with this picture?

nashville11, except I think DT is more like Mitch's pet dog. A rabid attack dog.

I've been hearing that according to multiple sources McConnell is saying he doesn't have the votes to block witnesses from being called. Let's hope that's so.

It's looking like we may get witnesses, but I think they are going to insist on calling at least Hunter Biden if not Joe unless Justice Roberts says no to that, which he probably won't. Whether they call either of the Bidens or not, I go back and forth on how this will affect Joe's campaign. On the one hand, I think it will hurt him. Even if neither of them gets called to testify and dragged into the muck, a stigma has attached to him. Lots of people are just sick of the whole mess, and because of that might turn away from voting for Biden. On the other hand, there is also the possibility that especially if the JA gets away with all this, as he is going to, some people might gravitate toward voting for Biden simply because they want to "stick it" to the JA. What do you think?
Biden is not my first choice, but I do believe we need a moderate. Someone too far to the left, IMO, is not going to be able to pull in the voters we need and the country is just going to become even more divided. If by some stroke of luck a moderate was elected, he/she is not going to be able to work a miracle but may at least be able to make a start toward pulling us back from the far edges.
So what's up with Joe Manchin? He says it's fine to call Hunter Biden to testify in a trial where he has no knowledge of what the JA did or did not do. He's a closet Republican in a very red state. If they want to go after the Bidens investigate them, but it is a totally separate issue and every single one in that Senate chamber knows that. Geeesh! This whole thing is just maddening. There is simply no reasonable thinking to be found.

Joe Minchin could just as well put an R after his name instead of a D. He votes Republican most of the time anyway.
I think it probably is hurting Joe Biden & that's what this Impeachment for the Republican Senators is really all about. I read the Headline on Huff Post, which stated that the Republican Senators will vote to acquit with their eyes closed. Exactly! Kevin McCarthy admitted in a video that the Bengashi investigation of Hilary was really about. To damage her reputation. So, they are doing this again with Biden. He's not my first choice either, but as someone on here said, "Vote Blue, No Matter Who!" I think it will be very interesting and important to see if Biden does get the nomination, just who he picks for his VP. I think that will have more sway than anything to help him beat JA.
Rick Scott is getting roasted on Twitter by posting a video stating he is held hostage with this impeachment. The responses were so funny but so true. The one from Fred Gothenburg who's daughter was killed in a school shooting was spot on & should make Scott totally ashamed of himself.....it won't tho.
My dream scenario, EW winning the nomination & beating JA by a gazillion....I don't agree with all EW has to offer, but I do think she is smart & would make a good president. I have a hard time listening to her, at times, I feel like I'm in a classroom listening to a teacher...thats on me not her.....LOL I know she won't get the nomination because she is too far left for many, but as I said, I would love JA to get beat by someone he has bullied on Twitter, etc.
Bernie's time has passed IMHO & I can't take all the shouting he does. I've really warmed up to Yang, even tho I know he isn't going to get it. I find him funny, down to earth & very thoughtful in his answers. I wish we could take the best of each candidate & combine them into one dream candidate ...LOL

LOL! I'm with you Linda on wishing the JA would get beaten by someone he has bullied, of course, whoever gets the nomination will get bullied and probably worse by him. My favorite candidate is still Amy Klobuchar, but she's not going to get the nomination. I agree with you that if Biden does get the nomination he needs to pick his VP very carefully, because it's going to make a big difference--a bigger difference than it ever has before. Like you Yang has surprised me. He has a lot going for him. Bernie is the one I like the least, well, of the candidates who actually have a chance. There are still 4 hanging on that I don't understand what the point is at all as most people don't even know they're in the race. Among them, Tulsi Gabbard completely turned me off.

Yup, Gabbard turned me off too. She is now suing Hilary Clinton for saying she was a something or other for the Russians. Well, that's their fight, I could care less about that. You would think if they were the political savvy politicians they want us to believe they are, they wouldn't say things that will land them in court, etc.
I like Amy K. too. I also liked Kamala Harris, but she dropped out. I wonder if she won't be a VP pick for someone. Maybe, Biden should he get the nomination?
I'm really interested in the questions the next 2 days. I wouldn't be surprised, tho, if by Saturday evening this whole thing will be over...History!

Calling Hunter Biden is just another "look over there, don't look at me!" tactic. Biden is not on trial - nothing other than what DT did should be "evidence".
