Making an afghan for Devin sounds like a great idea! He is at an age where I am sure he can appreciate something hand made and you can now make it full sized, something he can keep into adulthood. Hard to believe that I said that, at this thread we have โwatchedโ Devin grow up. Enjoy him while he is still home! Olive Garden is a great place for lunch and they have some nice specials. It would be nice if you could sneak into Hobby Lobby to look at yarn. Hopefully they have it on sale this week.

Ginny, I keep intending to put my wips into separate bags along with a note telling what pattern I've used or it, the yarn and the hook size. I don't often end up doing that and then can't remember what hook size I need to finish. Last night I was lucky is using my H hook to finish the earwarmer and it did end up right so I must have guessed correctly. But as you said a week or so ago, I mostly do use the H hook.
Oh and chives are another thing I don't have any luck growing. I've tried many times. Maybe it'll grow better in Indiana
Going to go check email

Hello Crafters Ginny - Hope you are getting some of this mild weather that I had this weekend. Ruth - I laughed at your comment about the silly book, I've read my share of those by an author that I really like. Meg - Hope you enjoy the lunch tomorrow and get to stop at Hobby Lobby. Sue and Phyl - Hope you are getting in some crafting. It was in the 70s here again today, back to the 50s tomorrow. It was actually so warm in my bedroom last night that I had to run a small desktop size fan! I finished cutting the fabric pieces for the rainbow scrappy bowtie blocks, so now I just need to sew them together. I have 4 different green fabrics and I'm going to use a white with them to make 2 bowties in each green fabric. I have enough left over to make one hourglass block for each of the 4 green fabrics. I hope to get them done this week, so I can keep on top of this monthly challenge. There are a few shows I want to watch tonight and at first I thought they were all on at the same time, but now I see that one is on from 8-10 and the other from 10-11, so I can watch both of those. The other one I wanted to watch repeats tomorrow at 4:00, so I can watch it then. I'm happy that all worked out unlike it usually does I'm enjoying the book I'm reading now, it's just a light romance - I like those. The story is about a young woman who finds out that she was kidnapped as a baby by the woman who raised her and who she thought was her mother. She only found this out when her mother told her on her deathbed. So the girl goes to the town from where she was kidnapped to see the family she was taken from. She isn't sure she'll tell them who she is, since they are wealthy and have had many women imposters trying to pretend to be the kidnapped baby to get money. These books all have happy endings so I know it will work out in the end Take care everyone!
