I'm excited to see how things come out tonight in Iowa! Not too excited to listen to the State of the Union speech tomorrow night, but will listen anyway. I have a feeling the next several months till Nov. 3 will fly by.
I thought Adam Schiff was wonderful with his closing remarks.

I don't know if I can force myself to listen to the State of the Union tomorrow night or not. Normally, I always listen to it so this would be a first. Maybe I can suck it up long enough to listen, but right now it sounds like a daunting task.

Rachel says that "women" think a woman can't beat tRump. I think a woman could beat Trump if she's moderate to pull from both sides. Rachel says women think that because of the way this JA treats women by bullying. I think a woman could stand up to the bullying and show him for what he is. We are all women on this thread, and we support different candidates. Do you think a woman could beat Trump knowing how much of a lying, bully he is? Not sure I phrased this question very well, but hope you get the intent.

I don't think a woman could beat him. I know a woman could.
Lest we forget a woman got 3 million more votes than he did!

I agree a woman could beat him. Listening to Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar last night giving their "victory" speeches, I found them both inspiring. This business with the results is strange and naturally, Trump is gloating over it. His campaign manager gave a disgusting statement last night about the Dems "stewing in a caucus mess of their own creation with the sloppiest train wreck in history." nashville11, I probably should just watch the highlights and read about the speech tonight, rather than sicken myself listening to the whole thing. I hate to think about how much emotional angst this man has put me through over these past years.

I think Pete won. Out of 1200 percent reports Pets volunteer reports he did try well might even have beat Bernie Biden are in 4th. I can hardly wait for the results.

I always say I'm not listening to JA anymore, but, then, I find I end up doing so. Not sure why, but its like staring at a horrible accident. You know you shouldn't look but you just can't help yourself. I will be watching the audience reaction as well. I wonder if there will be a "Joe Wilson" moment, where he shouted out "He lies" during an Obama State of the Union.

This thing with the Iowa caucus votes is a mess, but I'm hoping it's settled soon. Very disappointing I'm sure for the candidates. The little bits and pieces I watched last night indicated that Pete was doing very well. You all probably saw this yesterday, but I just saw that video clip of the JA during the national anthem for the Super Bowl this morning. Oh my gosh! I am so disgusted, and yet not surprised. He behaved despicably (as usual). His ego can't bear for the attention to be directed anywhere else by him even for a minute, thus he has to clown around during the National Anthem to get people to focus on him rather than the flag and the anthem. What a bratty child! Where are those "we're more patriotic than you" Republicans about this? Hiding in the cloak room putting on their blindfolds as Mitch passes them out to them, I guess. As for the ones on my FB feed, they conveniently pretend they didn't see it either. Maybe they didn't see it as they only watch Fox. conniefromct, you have a good suggestion about just watching the clips of the speech tomorrow and hearing the news. For one thing it will make me sick, and for another I hate to give him the satisfaction of high viewership.

The next time they show an athlete kneeling during the national anthem because they sincerely believe in a cause, they should have a split screen with JA & his antics during the playing of the anthem at the Super Bowl. Will it make a difference....probably not. I fear many in this country have given up trying to get rid of JA & his administration. They just go along with it now with the mistaken belief it will get better once he's gone. IMHO it will be too late, for what this country should stand for & to work our way back could just be impossible for many years if not forever. I wonder if we haven't turned a corner & we can't backtrack anymore....:-(
