PROGRESSIVE DISCUSSION - FEBRUARY 2020

I never liked John Bolton, and I like him even less now as he could have come and testified before the House. He could have brought out all he knows much sooner, but instead he held out to boost his book sales so I won't be buying a copy. That all being said, however, regardless of when he came out and told what he knows today's result would have been the same. Nothing was going to convince those Republicans to convict him.

The Iowa numbers seem to be tightening up, but whether he comes in at first or second Pete did great. I expect we'll all be surprised if Bernie doesn't carry New Hampshire, or at least I will be. South Carolina will be more of a predictor of things to come, I think. Bloomberg is putting a lot of money where his mouth is, and I'm seeing lots of campaign ads for him. I am hoping that he will be on the debate stage next time, as I want to see how he responds to the questions and how he performs beside the other candidates. Campaign ads sound good, but they don't necessarily tell the real story. I read an article the other day that said he can now qualify for the debate, but that his campaign had not made it clear whether or not he actually would participate. Have any of you seen anything more recent than that?

I had forgotten just how creepy he is.  He used to play on his radio show "Barak the Magic Negro" (a parody to the tune of Puff the Magic Dragon), and when a woman sued to get birth control paid for by insurance, he called her a slut and a postitute.  Said she wanted to be paid for having sex.  He later apologized for that last one.  Also, he was a huge Obama Birther conspirator.

Who gets impeached and has their approval ratings go up?  Now we know.

Bloomberg is entitled to participate in the las Vegas debate if his poll numbers qualify. But he has not said if he wants to. I like Pete and Bloomberg. Trump is ready to attack his enemies at a news conference.

Listening to the gop members saying "yes he did these things, but he's also doing good things" reminds me of 2 other "things".
The Catholic church about pedofile priests; and the Germans about Hitler.
All I can hope is that the people that think he's the best thing ever never need him to act presidential, because it's not going to happen.

JA totally revealed again who he is today .... a nasty vindictive soulless piece of nothing.... I was kind of upset that the channels were covering this, but then, the more he talked, I thought, no, this is good. He is his own worst enemy. He was horrible today & I hope, even tho his supporters won't admit it in public, I wonder if they cringed inside at how embarrassing he was today. This guy is sick....I mean really sick mentally!

OMG, that - I don't know what to call it - stream of consciousness, unconsciousness?  The "celebration."  How the hell did this happen?  What have we done to deserve this?  It's so bizarre; nothing energizes this strange person like when somebody crosses him.  He's got enough grievances now to last him several lifetimes.

I'm starting to remember that Twilight Zone episode where the little boy could think people dead and everyone tiptoed around trying to keep him happy.  Remember?  It was called "It's A GOOD Life."  Based on a well-known sci-fi short story.  We are all in the Twilight Zone now, for sure.
