Pattybird- what these businesses don't take into consideration is that eventually the crisis will be over.......... AND PEOPLE WILL REMEMBER............

"Trump says he's considering short-term quarantine of parts of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut"
Can we just quarantine him before he does more damage?
With all due respect Sir Stable Genius, get the hell out of the way and take Pence with you.....
Let someone lead who knows what they are doing. I promise you your ratings will go up.....(fingers crossed)

Anne, Schwan's is based out of MN. We have delivery service in my area. I order online, & then he stops at my house every 2 weeks. OR your order can be delivered via UPS if you don't have delivery trucks in your area; They ship it in dry ice. I have done that a couple times when delivery was interrupted here for various reasons. The food was still frozen. We love Schwan's. They are pricier than grocery store, but we do it for the convenience & quality. Jason is a picky eater & there are several items from Schwan's that I get for him.

Linda thanks,
I am calling them now to see if they deliver east of the Hudson. At least I can order for son and crew in Chicago for Easter if they don't. What are Jason's favs?
Back in the 70's I never thought to order King Arthur, different mind set. You should have told me .....lol
I started a food coop for fresh veggies and fruits back then. The husbands would go down to the Strip in Pgh at 4 in the A.M.when the stuff was delivered and pick up what we all needed.
Best fresh was not going to the grocery, Krogers, Giant Eagle etc. Grrrrr

I've been a Schwan's customer since 1990...
Jason likes their cod nuggets, mini corn dogs, shrimp, angus hamburgers precooked.....I have ordered just about everything else for us at one time or another. They have the best ice cream & frozen yogurt...:-)

Isn't that up to the Governor of the state and not the pawn/pain in the Oval Office? Perhaps he can actually do the job I am unwillingly paying him to do and leave state business up to the states. Governor Cuomo looks and sounds so presidential when he speaks. He's intelligent, he's straight to the point and yet he has this calm about him, he tells us what we need to know, and he always looks concerned but confident that we will get through this. I can see him as the president. I'd really, really, like to give a woman a chance but I don't see that happening at this moment. I could be wrong. It's happened once or twice in my life. lol.
Let trump quarantine himself and leave these important decisions to real politicians and not a talk show host who had to only remember two words, you're fired! Oh, how I wish those two words come back to bite him.

DT says the New Yorkers are going down to Florida. Florida governer has been whining to him about it. Don't forget all DT's Florida real estate.
Cuomo says he's going to sue Rhode Island as they are using police to track down New Yorkers. I'm not sure what they do with them - escort them to the border?
This is getting more and more like a SciFi story.

Trump backs off NY quarantine and asks CDC to issue 'strong travel advisory' instead after Gov. Cuomo declared the threat a 'federal declaration of war'. Well now, 'federal declaration of war' that hasn't happened since the American Civil War luanne, Is it O.K. if I don't finish the book? This all could never happen in real life. Good Grief!!!!!!!!

Glad that the idiot-in-chief has decided to back down about the NY quarantine. I really don't see anyway that could have been enforced other than having military guard the borders. Interesting how Republicans are always shouting about state's rights until it's something they want to change. Then they flip flop pretty quickly. He signed the "stimulus" bill surrounded by Republicans, and yet I'm already hearing Republicans blaming Democrats for the things that are in it which they don't like. I even saw one person calling it Pelosi's bill. Yet, the money they are getting is all Republican. LOL! He's already announced that he's just going to ignore the oversight which the Democrats fought to build into the bill, which let's face it we all already knew would never happen. The large corporations will do exactly as they please. I just hope some of it filters down, but hope is the best we can do. I don't know how he'll do it, but someway, somehow I think the JA will find a way to get some of that money into his pocket as well. It's cooler, but beautifully sunny outside. Last night about 9:00 we had a BIG storm, and all the tornado sirens were going off as well as the TV saying "get into your safe place now." So we got into our designated "safe" place which is actually a storage closet under the stairway so that there are no windows and no outside walls as we don't have a basement. The tornado which had been spotted, however, never actually touched down which everyone is very grateful about. Needless to say, that made for an interesting night. Hope you each have a lovely day!

Yikes...Happy you & DH are safe, Joyce. I saw on the news the reports of tornados down your way. I'll take a blizzard anyday, I think.
700,000 people are in danger of losing SNAP/food stamps April 1st because they don't have jobs......DAH! Jeez, where is the common sense!!! I sure hope that someone that does will reverse this order....
DGD sent me a pic of her new craft corner she created in her bedroom. She is 9 & has really gotten into crafting. She is so excited about her new space. I told her I would go thru my craft room & fill a box with items I don't use anymore & hopefully I can send it to her. Lucky my neighbor is my mailman as well. I know I can leave it with him & he can take it to post office so we don't have to stand in line to mail the package. After 50+ years of crafting, my craft room looks like a mini craft store....LOL..
I saw on the news a happy/funny story.....A student left his teacher a jar with some flowers on her steps with a note that said..." I miss you & I miss science class. My Mom sucks as a teacher"....LOL
If anything positive comes out of this pandemic, its the hope that all teachers, nurses, Dr.s, firefighters, policemen etc are appreciated more & paid way more than they are now. They are truly the unvalued people in this country. In normal times we just take them for granted expecting them to do their jobs without much compensation or appreciation most times.
Hope you have a relaxing Sunday. We have Sunshine here, so I'm going to enjoy every ray that comes in my house....:-)

Maybe if reporters stopped asking you-know-who questions entirely we could avoid a lot of this stupid stuff that he says and then gets walked back. No, that wouldn't work because then only Fox News reporters would be asking softball questions.
Many networks are no longer airing the entire coronavirus task force briefing. I just go to the aftermath on CNN and let them hit the high and lowlights for me. They have a fact checker every time which is helpful.

Linda, Thanx for Jason's goodie list, I am looking to send out a goodsie package to son and sons. Knew he would have the best young guy choices.
Have you ever tried Schwans "Fully Cooked Spiral-Sliced Bone-In Ham"?
The schools and gyms are all closed down in Indy. Our basketball playing grandson is going nutz.... he hates being inactive.
He and his friends can still play golf, arrive in separate cars and each take a separate cart.

Oh yes indeedy, willing to bet President Sticky Fingers is skimming everything he can, he would be making more $$$$ as President then he ever made on his own. Not taking a salary looks great in lights but it is a drop in the ocean compared to what is being raked in.
