Hello Everyone - I hope you and all your families are feeling well and doing well These sure are uncertain times for all of us. I've been keeping up with my 100 Day Challenge but otherwise I'm not doing any type of structured eating plan. The way I think about food, dieting and exercise is all screwed up in my head. There are so many "rules" in my mind, that I don't even eat because I'm hungry or sometimes even for enjoyment. I've been trying to figure out some ways to work fixing my thought processes, since it's just not healthy for me physically or emotionally to keep going on like this. I do hope all of you are doing better on your plans Take care!

Good morning
dotren, how did the bread turn out? Glad all are feeling better.
irisinnia, sorry about the cruise, but sounds like all will work out for the best.
cj, I totally understand where you are coming from on the diet/eating front. I get myself all in a tissy on what to do.
Waving to all. My DSon starts his new job today. He was so nervous and of course old mom was not much help giving her 2 cents worth.

I didn't make it yesterday because my starter didn't seem quite ready. It looked good this morning, so I'll see about it later Hope your son enjoys his new job!

sunrose49, just pulled it out of the oven, it smells wonderful I used a cake pan and made a rustic loaf instead of a bread shaped one (because I coulnd't find my loaf pan...)

The bread is really good. Not quite as sour as I like, but my starter is still going strong. I think I baked it too quick and didn't let it develop enough once I made the dough. A lot of homestyle sites say to let it rise 3x, the first one overnight to get the yeast to do its thing and make the flavor stronger.
Both Ron and JD are still working. Ron said they may do split shifts at the plant to lessen the number of people that are there at the same time. That doesn't really work for crane operators since there are only a few of them to go around. So not sure how that will play out. JD's place is open for now but they're closing an hour earlier. I wish he'd just do the lay-off thing so they could file for temporary unemployment. Although HEB and Kroger and other stores are begging for people to work for them right now to help keep the shelves stocked and all that. I'm really stressed but I didn't realize it until I could barely turn my head this morning for the muscles tightening up. I must have been grinding my teeth/clenching my jaw.
Hope you all are well.
I have an order placed for delivery today from HEB, hopefully they have the chicken necks, backs and leg quarters -I want to make a batch of bone broth (lots of garlic, ginger and turmeric).

Good morning
Also stopped by to say hello and hope everyone is well and staying safe. I did a virtual WW workshop yesterday morning and really liked it. Still working the weight/food issue, but more important things going on in our world.
I'll try to be back tomorrow.

Hello Everyone I hope you and all your families are staying well. sunrose - That's great that you found a Jazzercise class to take at home. I would have thought during this virus situation I'd be doing a lot of overeating, but I guess I'm concerned about conserving food so I've been eating smaller meals. I'm trying to avoid going to the grocery store again for as long as possible. Take care everyone!

Hi everyone!
Just checking in. Hope you are all doing well and staying safe.
We have been social distancing since March 13. No school, no daycare and for the most part, no work for me. I am checking emails every day and doing a bit (a very tiny bit) of paperwork, but our province is basically shut down and I've been placed on "standby" by my employer. There isn't much happening in my work world right now, since I work with people. DH is still working, but it's slowed down a lot. He's essential services of a sort, so I expect that he will be continuing to work.
I feel fortunate that I am still getting paid and my daycare, which is a non-profit, has opted not to continue charging while there are closures. Some of my friends have not been so lucky.
Have a great day everyone!

Hello Everyone DotRen - It just seems there is so much anxiety for all of us about this virus that it's almost too much to talk about, doesn't it? wwlurker - Things are pretty shut down in my area too. I'm glad you are still getting paid and the daycare situation is good for you. I haven't been anywhere since March 17th and I'm trying to hold off until next week to do any grocery shopping. I'm pretty well stocked but I wonder if the stores will continue to have food or will things get worse. There's just no way to know. I just hope this virus will die out soon. I also hope that all of you and your families stay safe and well. Take care everyone!

cj59, same here. I haven't left the house. I ended up having a grocery delivery last week, then a walmart pick up yesterday that JD picked up before he left for work. Only being able to get about 1/2 the things I order makes it like "chopped" lol. Ron and I are going to clean out the deep freezer this weekend, it needs it anyway. What surprised me is that I can't find fresh or frozen green beans for the food I make Murray. I got a huge can of canned ones and I guess I'll rinse then soak them to get as much sodium out as I can before I add them to his turkey and squash. Ron and JD are still working. Ron on normal hours and JD is going in at noon instead of 10, so he may qualify for the work-share unemployment benefit, but he hasn't checked yet. Hope you all are well!
