This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Aloha, Long and Lovelies!
I know my SIL is getting snow as we speak, up near the DC area. I heard the snow is moving more towards the Northeast, than East. DS is VERY excited to see snow in a few days, if it sticks around.
Nothing new around here today. And that's okay.
Lynne - apple chips are a great idea. I need to find some for myself....1.4# banished is always great progress!! How is the weather up in your neck of the woods?
Shari, are you getting buried by the fluffy whiteness?
Martha, I agree with Lynne on not letting the scale rule the mood. Easier said, I know.
Alrighty, ladies, I will stop by later. Hugs!!!!

Good Morning, CaTs - imagine, I'm the board starter! A first on this new format. We are in a snowy world with majority of things closed and much more to come. My men are home today; workplace is closed. My WeWa was cancelled so I'm home; I'm positive piano will not happen either. Tucked in with all of my pretties and converting my mind to be really happy about it. Love that it's a DD day in residence.
I had so many places to go, so much to do in these two days! Now will have to try to do some tomorrow and decide what can be released into the universe since tomorrow is poor forecast too. Thursday am we leave early for long drive south. Need to plan/pack a bag for that as well.
We had nice bare ground in most places. Bitter cold the last few days but at least free walking here and there. Now a giant load of snow to muck things up and make a mess. Good riddance I'll say when it's in my rear view mirror, Thurs and beyond.
MCat, glad you had good DP visit and things went well for DM. Nice that they can get away upcoming - will be good for them. How cool DS is getting to proceed with an instrument - many rewards to come from that experience, as you know.
Martha, love hearing about your daffodils - we have the 1/2 to 1" tips starting out of the ground. They'll be buried after today. I adore spring flowers, esp tulips. Among my favorite memories/places is visiting the Skagit Valley in Washington when tulip fields are all abloom - truly amazing.
Anne, so glad about your good health reports returning. Nothing compares to that. I don't recall your households combining and the garage having to be unloaded from two becoming one. Must have happened before my presence here. Too much stuff is just too much stuff, no matter where or whose. I plan to live through it and enjoy better!
Ok, CaTs, hoping to see more of you today - I miss the KittyCat Chat here. Have a great, safe day - snow or no snow.

I miss the constant and steady stream of CATS that usually visit, too. I was just thinking that, and then read your post, Shari.
We too, have much snow. No school. Which lends to a lazy day. I think I'll make spaghetti sauce for dinner. I did buy a spaghetti squash for my noodles.
Not sure if I even have the TM on my radar today. I have a bunch of things to get done.
Missy, no, don't look for the apple chips (btw they sell them at sbx) they are 6 smarty pants a serving. Which isn't much.
I'll try again later. Sorry for your snow day, especially on the heels of you heading south, shari. How many days now until the move?

I may not like all the rain we are having but it is much better than the snow/wind that is hitting the East coast. I don't totally rely on the scale for results. I so take my measurements periodically. Realized hadn't done them in over a month, so took them this morning. Pleasantly surprised, stayed either the same or went down a smidge. Compared to December measurements, am down an overall 2 inches. Frieda - I know what you mean about points shock. Just had unsweetened applesauce, per label and ingredients. Wrote it down as zero. Found my calculator and it said 6 sp for 1/2 cup. Will need to take calculator with me for future shopping. Missy - The joys of being a kid - loves the snow. If I don't have to drive or be out in it for errands, etc., I don't mind. Shari - Enjoy the upcoming snow-free time. Anne - Great news regarding your medical! Last nights dinner: Turkey and Wild Rice Casserole, from Cooking Light, March 2017 issue. Had it with cranberry sauce. OMG! 1/4 cup is 6sp! I haven't had any since Thanksgiving. DH will finish it off. Tonight is my fave food: Mac & Cheese. Yes, I will measure and track. Worked on organizing my recipes, torn out of magazines, this morning. Put them in sheet protectors and notebook. Threw out some of them too. Cinderella chores are calling my name. HUGS to all~ m
