Maybe, however, Brian can climb the ladder (after he is feeling better) to make the adjustment. More likely that MissMouse would do it... but I think the adjustment has to be made with the unit down on the ground (that's what I read about several brands). Would make sense for safety reasons. The neighbor's landscaping service is taking down one of the white pines along the fence line. Those trees are too big for the space, and this is the third one in "that spot" that has died. You'd think that they could explain this to our neighbor (but I think they've tried, to no avail). Noisy but he'll be done soon (before Toots' nap). We just got a notification from the school district that as of now, they are staying open. However, they recommend that parents prepare contingency plans.

Mj That's good that your DD will take down the hoop and adjust it at ground level.
Property lines and trees are tricky. I guess your neighbor is persistent? But when no tree grows in that spot, you would think he would have gotten the clue. The disruption to public schools will likely cause a lot of headaches. Many parents will not have a contingency plans. Also adding children to daycares defeats the purpose. I wish that my niece would send her daughter to stay w/ us or keep her home from NYC daycare.

June - A number of colleges in NJ are doing that - extending spring break and then online courses. As of now, the township schools will remain open with increased sanitizing of high touch areas but are working on a contingency plan.

(((Becky and Kenneth))) sending continued love and prayers today. Susi, my love and prayers are with you too. I hope Stephen is as comfortable as possible. MJ, continued prayers to your family. It is good that DD will adjust the basketball hoop safely and at least you did the research. June, colleges across the country are having an early spring break but I wonder how long they can stay closed to the students. Our public schools are still open too but at my meeting today our board is considering cancelling our last two events, the art and flower show and the fashion show. We have a very elderly membership. Cathy, I hope your throat is better. I suffer from spring allergies for several months. Bee, I hope you can rest today.

I've got some stressful things going on (non-work related) but I'm OP and will continue. The alternative only adds to the upset. Will also try and get another walk in today since the time has provided me with extra day light in the evenings. Very non restful night of sleep but not feeling tired ... yet. Becky, continued well wishes and prayers for you and Kenneth. I agree now is not the time to worry about food planning. And as Audrey said I doubt much damage can be done with hosp food You got this girl. Just concentrate on keeping your strength up so you can heal and get to stomping again (((HUGS))) Audrey, wish I could send you some of our rain. We have had a few nice days and Pollen is getting thick on everything. June, our Univ is taking a second week also but other than that things are ticking along as usual here in my school dist. You are really adding up those blue dot days How is R today? Cathy, sorry about your laryngitis...hope its not leading up to something else. Take care. MJ, hope the tree noise goes away soon! Ann, I sure hope there is not a coffee shortage along with the toilet paper, hand sanitizer etc...whatever will we do??? Bee, rest and take care (((HUGS))) Susi, I'm so sorry about Stephen. Prayers will certainly continue for you all.

June I don't get why you have to report! Senseless to me. I agree with avoiding crowded areas. Hang in there. Happy that the hoop will be taken down by DD, MJ. Here the St. Patrick's Day parade in Worcester has been cancelled. That draws a LOT of people. Also noticed that hand sanitizer is a thing of the past in our sleepy community as well. I feel badly for parents with children where schools have been cancelled. It's hard to say 'stay home' and have them do just that. Especially hard on those too young to stay alone. Praying for a good outcome for all of us. More prayers for Stephen and Becky and all that need them that are too numerous to mention. I may not always verbalize it, but y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. LaDonna sorry for you stressful situation ((hugs)) I took one good hood walk, cleaned both bathrooms swept the floors dusted and have one more load of laundry washing. Still not in the mood for spring cleaning...that will happen later...way later Luckily we have enough food and paper products along with coffee and wine to last. I found food in the back of the freezer that I am now defrosting. Amazing! Later.....

Susi Have not heard about the local public schools' plans. Will Stephen keep you & Carol updated? I hope so. Praying that he can stay comfortably In his own home as long as possible.
Ann Ha ha ha... this girl sees no reason for being on campus to sit in an office hour which not single student will utilize. That is way above my measly pay grade. By next Tuesday,I may feel feverish and need to self quarantine.
Audrey That seems to prudent to me. Much better safe than sorry.
LaDonna Sending you a big warm hug. You are right. In the long run, eating poorly only adds to the stress. THe more often that you do something else, the better. But if you slip, you know the reset button is right there.
Adding to the discussion--- toilet paper, sanitizer, wipes, rubbing alcohol-- W Mart, W Mart pharmacy, Sam's, and D General.
R overhead a woman shopper announceto her friend that she had THE LAST 4-pack of Northwrn Quilted toilet paper.Second woman shared that her mome reported that she could not find it anywhere inPhoenix,Az. BRand loyalty! We refilled RXs for 3 months, since many mess are manufactured inChina& India. WM Pharmacy had no hand sanitizer for customers to use. Had bone in stock. Young mother who we helped told us if we were looking for rubbing alcohol, sanitizer,or Clorox wipe, WM was out. We told her tha D G peneral down the road had rubbing alcoho & off brand disinfectant wipes. Also shared thatanother discount store,Marc's, had 24 pack of Cottonelle & other brands plus a good buy onto in closeout. Marc's only had a handful of disinfectant wipes-- no Clorox or Lysol brands.
Saw a woman coming out of D General with at least 8-10 Clorox disinfectant wipes. She bought all that they had.
Almost Every shopper that we saw had t paper in their buggies
Every place we went, acquaintances or strangers told us that Sam's was out of stock on t paper unless one droveto Pittsburgh!
Ha ha ha... we had to toilet paper inour buggy. I usually try to restock when we are at 3-4 rolls. So,of, course, we only 1 roll in use and 3 inreserve.
