Hi all. I am starting Vegan again today, It is the only time I don;t eat junk. I go shopping today with Rich. I wear a mask and gloves. He is supposed to but he doesn't. Vannessa wears mask she was given Rich works eat the same place but doesn't pick up the masks. I will wear a mask. I have glasses too. I am getting a couple of back masks that you can use over and over next week. I will give one to Scott. He is having a birthday party upstairs in his apartment for me Monday. I am ordering a garden salad. We are ordering for the pizza place. Scott is ordering a salad too. Rusell will look at the menu . He is paying the tip and Scott is paying for Leean Russ and me. The results for the election last week in Wisconsin come out tonight. they canvas at 4pm in Madison where I live but not sure if it is county wide or just for the city. There will be a lot of lawsuits if the state Supreme Court race is close. I fell thinking and pacing are way for me to trip. it scared me. Scott came down he lives right above me. Vanessa comes over after her online class meets that started out as a in person class to help me. I wonder if the results really will be declared tonight. it was the last presidential primary before Bernie got out. I had bought a an apartment washing machine top loader and it is in kitchen and connects It saves money and does a good job. Last week the dryers weren't working but my machine does such aa good jo it did not take long for the clothes to dry. I bought a machine that got great reviews. called Home. It even does a big towel really big. I am really lucky I get help at home. Well newsy but happy.

Good morning
dotren, I need to look at my receipt, but yes it is expensive! She usually gets the shot every 4 weeks and they check her anal glands because allergies can make them full...ugh. I think it is around $180.00. I know it would be cheaper if I gave her the shot, which I may look into. Hope this helps. Nice of you to keep making masks.
cj, I am awful with any kind of sewing. I do enjoy the jazzercise. I just really need to get this weight off.
Amy, I wish you luck with your plans.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and staying safe amyrs - I'm glad for you that you have people to help you. Hope you enjoy your birthday party sunrose - I wish I could get more motivated to exercise. I really have to push myself. I'm glad you are sticking with it. I'm hanging in there, but feeling a lot of stress and anxiety. I know there are so many people worse off, so I try not to focus on it. At least I've been portioning my food out so I'm not overeating. It would be good if I didn't have junk food in the house - but at least I'm portioning it too Take care!

Our county: 259 cases 153 active 103 recovered 3 deaths My city has 6 active cases and 2 recoveries. Overall the stats are pretty good, considering we butt up to Houston.
I've been making masks for Ron and JD since they are around other people more than I am.
My anxiety is kicking in, but making the masks and baking bread is helping lol.
Hope you are all doing well and staying as safe as you can.

Hi DotRen - I'm feeling anxiety too. I've only made two masks and they aren't that great. I have to try a few more. But I was wearing one for just a few minutes and it is so difficult to breathe in them. I can't imagine how it's going to be to wear it in a grocery store for 30 minutes The county I live in has the most cases in our whole state. Sure makes you wonder why that is - did people not stay at home until they absolutely had to, are there people in the county that have medical conditions that make the virus more prevalent, is there a stronger strain of the virus in certain places? It's all the not knowing that adds to the anxiety. I made some French bread today too. I just made a half recipe since it's me alone. And I'm here to admit I put margarine and jam on slices of it to eat Hope everyone is hanging in there and staying well. Take care!

I have got to get my eating under control. It's head hunger, I'm not actually hungry, just snacking. I made the mistake of getting chips - that won't happen again lol. Baked cheetos and simply ruffles are my downfall!

Good morning
cj, hope you are doing well.
dotren, I'm with you on the eating. Hang in there.
I had my WW virtual meeting this morning. It was good. One lady has officially lost 100 pounds! Wow! No jazzercise yesterday or this morning. Will do a class tomorrow. Nothing else to report.

Hello Everyone DotRen - Good luck with the eating. I have some good days but then others where I just want to eat everything and I know those are stress related to this virus. sunrose - I'm glad you enjoy the virtual meetings. Good for that lady losing 100 pounds, that's a big achievement. I've done that myself several times and it's a lot of work. I wish all the hard work had kept me from gaining it back several times too I'm still mad at myself for gaining weight back after this last time I lost it. I told myself it was the last time. It's just so frustrating how difficult it is to keep the weight off. Hope everyone is doing well and has a great weekend!

Good morning
cj, you are not by yourself. I have said so many times that I will not gain it back. Well I did and then some. It is hard to maintain. Hang in there.

My fitbit broke the other day, so I ordered a new one yesterday. I didn't want to pay that much right now, but honestly it keeps me moving and I rely on it all day for many things.
Take care everyone

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and that you and your families are staying safe and well sunrose - Glad you were able to order a new Fitbit. As much as I'd love to take mine off, I know if I don't wear it I'd be sitting around all day doing no exercise or walking at all, so I agree it keeps us moving.

Ron's back to normal work hours. The split shifting (1/2 the crew Mon-Thurs and the other 1/2 Thurs-Sun) was not working out because the schedulers weren't scheduling jobs, they were just calling them in as needed which meant the sometime sat around for most of the day or they had 15 things at once that 1/2 crew couldn't manage (they're crane operators at a big chemical plant here). I'm glad because him being home AND JD being home weekends was making me cook more, which meant eating more than I normally would- and not foods I normally make regularly. So today I have it planned out for the next 4 days (he's working today through Saturday so they get their 40 hours for the week) for ME so I can get back on track.
Oh, I called in another round of meds for Murray, it always takes 2 rounds in the Spring to clear him up, and the vet didn't make us bring him back in -I'm happy. Dog costs more than gold sometimes lol. $170 for the visit 10 days ago, $100 yesterday for the meds! Geesh.

Good morning
dotren, That's great you didn't have to take Murray in again. I know how costly the Vet/meds can be. My son has been home with me for several weeks now. We have our moments. I like to read - he likes to talk.....ugh lol
