Sue we didn't get anywhere near that amount of snow even though they forecast that we would. It's cold..only 25 degrees but at least it's sunny. More snow may be coming. I don't know
Ginny, I'm so glad you were able to be with your family and in a safe way.

Yes, Ruth that is a lovely hymn- a real standard for Easter. I heard it sung at one of the three church services I attended today.(online of course!!)
Just had dinner with Ds- he is so stressed over getting Covid.... I have been praying hard for him and will continue to do so. Its rare for him to actually express a fear. And as a young man, this must stink not to be able to socialize and do what he wants... We had a nice simple dinner. Gotta clean up now and get comfortable. Very rainy and windy tomorrow....some areas (they say not by me) will have hurricane force winds. Its s strong storm- wonder if its coming up from where CJ lives. Hope she is ok.... hope everyone else is ok too. Phyl has been quiet. Of course with Covid, I become concerned.

Hello Crafters - Happy Easter - I hope you are all having a nice day Sue - that is a lot of snow and very cold temps, hope you get some milder weather soon. Ginny - I'm glad you were able to spend time with family and enjoy the grandchildren. I hope your DS will continue to stay well. Ruth - Thanks for sharing one of your favorite hymns Phyl - Hope you can get some crafting done this coming week. Meg - Hope you are doing well too. It was a cloudy mild day here, I never even went outside. We might get thunderstorms tonight. I've watched several mask making videos to the point that I don't even want to make one. I think I'm resistant to doing it because I hate to think of wearing them when I go out and when I'm around people. They are going to be mandatory at stores in my area starting this week. I did find a box of disposable masks and I'm going to use one of them when I go shopping and save the reusable ones for when I have to wear one if someone comes to my house - like my lawn guy. They've started posting the number of virus cases by zip code in my state, and mine is pretty high but the surrounding zip codes are worse. Kind of scary, but I hope that people will use this information and stay home. I don't plan to go into the stores anytime soon, so hopefully things will slow down by then. No quilting for me today, just enjoying a relaxing day. Take care everyone!

Hi Phyl. Good to see you. we had awful weather too
Ginny, I'm glad your son feels he can express his fears to you.
CJ, I'm thinking that I need to make a mask or two because of people complaining if you wear one that is designed for medical people. The ones I have a both hospital masks and the M95 and they tell you not to use those and instead donate to your nearest health care facility. There haven't been enough cases in my area so the hospital should be well stocked.
Had a simple Easter dinner of roasted chicken and prepackaged "funeral" potatoes since we ddon't have real potatoes.Actually I haven't even eaten yet because I did something a rarely do and that is called a friend because I just felt that she needed someone to talk to. We talked for 3 or 4 hours.
