Good Monday Morning
Its 37 and sunny in my neck of the woods. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
GO BLUE Kathy! Just nuts.
A busy day on tap. Lately I feel like all I'm doing is putting out fires. How's that for a little flare of drama? lol Just spinning my wheels really and not the calorie burning kind.
Make it a good day all!

Good morning! It's a busy Monday for me. Today is the monthly lunch with my girlfriends and we play a card game called Pokeno. Lots of laughs and fun. It's my turn to bring lunch so I was really busy yesterday prepping a chicken salad recipe I saw on WW with jicama, bell peppers, pineapple and chicken, mixed with salad greens and with a lime/cumin salad dressing. Tasted really good yesterday.
Hope everyone has a great day. First day of spring! Yea!

Hi all, Manic Monday here.
My severe kiddo has up and vanished. Mom says they are in Florida but no proof. CYS, MH/MR and multiple agencies are on the case. He has disappeared. I know I have done everything I can, but I'm still so sad. He is profoundly disabled but was making progress. Mom has a drug problem and we are now realizing is quite the con-person. It's so awful,
Paperwork at school. My normal night to work WW. Housework when I get home. Just a KOKO kind of day. Plus my PMDD is flaring, so one minute I'm going to cry, the next I'm going to turn into an axe murderer and the whole time I'm going to eat chocolate!
Have a good day!

doordie50, my team is out, so I am now disinterested in basketball. Not passionate about the game like football and baseball! linda72 , let us know how their recipe turns out! dina , love this weather! hpeterson1951 , hang in there, one day at a time My London Broil on the George Foreman turned out well last night! Baked a cinnamon coffee cake last night that made the whole house smell good and I resisted it at the party this am! Overslept, which is unusual for me and DH didn't get me up. Fortunately since the kids are on spring break, traffic was a breeze. Zumba and pasta tonight!

Morning all! Thanks for kicking us off doordie50. Sorry work has devolved into you being a fire extinguisher. Hope it changes up soon. hpeterson1951, Heather I am just going to send hugs, otherwise it would be the cursing filled rant going on in my head. Unbelievable. Happy Spring everyone! 🌷

Good morning everyone and happy spring.
I'm still walking over snowbanks and ice so anything over 30 degrees sounds good!
Typical Monday - blechh.
Hope you all have a good day.

Thanks everyone for the hugs and nice thoughts. Deb, I'm sure I'm cursing enough for both of us! I just don't know how these things happen. How can a child just slip through the cracks and disappear when there are supposed to be agencies in place. The worst part is my supervisor told me "I told you not to get too attached to these kids. You should get this involved in your job"! REALLY? It's not just a job to some of us! OK, I'm going to stop now, before it gets really ugly

Beautiful day here. Errand list is long so glad rested and smiling this morning. Definitely focused and on track today. Surprised what knowing WI is tomorrow can effect motivation. It's been a good week. Have a great day everyone!

doordie50, oy, good luck! hpeterson1951, no freaking way did she say that...seems like someone should, maybe things like this wouldn't be happening if someone actually did their freaking job that could actually have done something to prevent this. *^%#

hpeterson1951 I don't know you couldn't become attached to the kids you work with!! It takes someone special to do the job you do!! I couldn't do it, I would punch some of those parents! BOILER UP! Purdue is still in the dance! I've very surprised to say the least! Actually, both my teams are still in! The other would be Michigan! GO BLUE!! I really enjoyed my 4 day weekend! I spend Thursday with my daughter (sushi and shopping) and Friday I had lunch with my mom and daughter! Saturday helped with the Winter Percussion and Sunday just did stuff around the house! I think I will now survive the next scheduling push here at work! I hope you all have a GREAT day and week!

Hey, late to the party, took Leia to the groomer and she said I could come early, so took advantage of a little time running around. Dog is groomed, returns are made, no bulging shopping bags, life is good. Like 100gone, I am dodging snowbanks and was roasting in the car in a wool sweater and jacket, but an improvement for sure. I'm not sure it's going to stay mild long enough to get the snow melted. doordie50 (and neen!) that game was insane, I think DS was weeping after it was over. I had to leave before the game was over and it was killing me listening in the car and not really able to keep up with the score. I didn't hit anyone, but was *dstracted* enough to drive past my exit and have to wander through Boston. Brady was at the Finals game when they lost to Louisville, so it was particularly sweet. His first job out of school was at the KC Star, and he ended up covering Kansas the last two years he was there, so I always keep an eye out for them, but yeah, it is all Blue at my house. J's concert was great and the service beautiful yesterday. Now the focus of the week is possibly entertaining his boss and wife Friday night. Ack. I was never a natural at entertaining and to say I am out of practice is an understatement. Back when I used to *have people over*, no one worried about presentation, LOL. Have a good rest of the day!
