Hi everyone Im new to WW and Am curious to see how long it’s taken others to see results and which program they’ve had more success with? I am currently trying to lose 25 pounds by the end of the summer and I’m hoping to find a weight watchers app that I can use long-term as more of a lifestyle change versus a quick fix. I appreciate any comments anyone has or stories they have to share as I Think it’s helpful to see how others are doing on their’ weight loss journeys. Thanks in advance!

smbia, hi and welcome to the boards!! If you check out our General Board here you will see a thread about different WW-type apps. I think I called it iTrackBites. Also if you copy this post over there you will probably get a lot more answers. Don't be afraid to jump on in the General Board, lots of friendly people. 🤗

smbia, Welcome. I agree with DebDoesWW, about looking at the General Board. I lost 35 pounds and got back to my Lifetime member goal for the 4th time in 2010. I've maintained below goal since then, except for a couple of months this past winter when I was over goal. It took me 15 months to lose the 35 pounds. It was on a WW plan that no longer exists, except in itrackbites. I had no problem with losing weight slowly. I had yo-yo'd on and off WW and up and down in my weight since 1971, the first time that I joined WW. This time I just focused on staying on plan, and tried not to pay much attention to the scale. My real goal was to change my eating/overeating habits, and by taking it slowly, I think I was able to do that for the long run. I remember people saying that there's no rush to lose weight and get to goal, because after you get there, nothing will change if you want to maintain. That turns out to be very true for me. After all these years, I still track and still practice the behavioral changes that I learned while losing weight slowly.
