I only read a little of the article but it seems most of the users and moderators migrated the site to a service that doesn't have as many rules.

they did! that was the funniest part. he's coming up with even more wild lyrics as he goes along and they are laughing and cheering and yelling them out during the song.
i couldn't quite get exactly the logistics of how it went down, but sounds like the promoter said "someone" came in last minute while the festival was being booked and planned, and said that they'd like to donate/sponsor the security costs (meaning, they'd hire the people to handle the security at the festival) and that there would also be a new musical act who would like to join. the promoter said yes to all of this apparently without screening who it would be and was probably just happy to not have to pay for the expensive security himself. he should have figured it was too good to be true!
the security team was hired ("donated") by sacha and when the promoter figured it out (after the song was over), the security team wouldn't let him through to confront sacha. haha! just effing brilliant.

Our local and national governments are straight up ignoring the issue to "save face" due to the fact that wee held multilevel elections like 10 days ago and that sparked a massive outbreak.

i saw a headline today (didn't read the article though) that said that gop insiders are saying that trump may drop out of the race due to his low approval ratings. i didn't read it because i think fat chance. he won't even leave when he's voted out. he'll be dragged out of there kicking and screaming. in other news, waddle neck mcconnell is concerned about re-election for himself. look what he said today. booker and mcgrath must really be making him scared of the possibility of losing. not sure if KY will do it or not, but the blue wave is strong. www.wbur.org/npr/884954234/sen-mcconnell-says-americans-must-have-no-stigma-in-wearing-face-masks |
