This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Aloha, Long and Lovelies!!!
It's nice to be back home. The trip was a ton of fun, and it was great to see everyone. My DSIL has a new dog that DS had a ton of fun running around with and playing. It was so much fun to watch.
DMom's tumor is benign! It was this crazy thing that develops on a nerve that is not cancerous. They found out Saturday morning and were over the moon. SUCH a relief!!!
Lynne, heart rate zones are soooooo important, in my opinion. All the difference with a workout. I think a lot of people make mistakes in that area. I bet things start picking up for you. I think the $ comparison is a good one.
T, welcome back! Good luck with the kiddos today.
Linda, goodness! Barbed wire! I would have been beside myself.
Anne, how are things in ATX?
Martha, sounds like the steps are getting in.
I'm sure there is more, but I'm drawing a blank and still need to get caught up with work. Hugs to all!!!!

Welcome home to traveling kitties. Awesome news about your DM tests MCat! And T, sorry your DK was not a nice hostess - your trip sounds fab!
Linda, too bad about the cut - little stinker. I remember hunting down my then 3 year old youngest DS who was hiding and I was freaking because I thought maybe he hiked down the RR tracks alone.
Frieda - I hope you can take advantage of time w/o Dkiddos and do some nice things for yourself.
For me it was a long lazy weekend - no online work - it should really start picking up tho by next weekend. I have been really good about tracking points - I am still doing the old point system - and getting in my TM time.
Have a great day!

Hi Kits, quick Hi from the highway. In PA now, on the route north. Great, tiring past few days, looking at housing options until they all blurred together. No commitment yet but narrowing choices. DM safely delivered to DSis. They anticipate a home move in a month so DM's chaos continues. Keeping her young and stimulated, perhaps. Missing Mick, little else in NY besides the beloved offspring that I will always miss. Linda, any hatchlings yet? Love your tale of torn up scholarship ap. You are a delightful wit. Frieda, I'd love to sit quiet w you, coffee and books and play library - oh, and your handsome boys. MCat, what supergood news on your DM! Just wonderful ❤ Karla, good for you on points following. I got your fitbit invite today but I haven't worn mine in months. Guess this wasn't so quick - more another time when I'm not in car, on phone. Loved our new area, town. Thought of Susan multiple times - woo-hoo! A Cat nearby ❤ Have a great Monday, friends.

Hi CATs. The time has arrived - my auditors are here. Let the fun begin! I had a great weekend down at the beach with MM, DDs and DGKs. Very lively! Each time I stay there now I do think about how much I'll miss the house once it sells. But a new place will be new memories, right? Next up on the travel agenda is a partial week in Charleston once the auditor make their exit on Friday. Can't wait!
MCat, great news about your DM!! I know you all feel a big weight has been lifted indeed!
Shari, I can't wait to hear where you will settle in! Yes indeed, a close by CAT will be soooo nice! Think how nice it will be to be so close to your DS and the beach without that loonnnggg car ride.
Karla, I need your tracking vibes to rub off on me. I'm trying, trying to get back in the groove. Bathing suit season will be here way too soon for me and I'm not ready for that!
Lynne, hearing you talk about how you are doing on the WW front is encouraging me to get back to tracking and walking and all the things that make it work. I too hope you will find some fun things to do for yourself while the girls are away.
Welcome home T - your vacations always sound so lovely.
So glad your lab results came back in good form Anne - a relief for sure.
Time to put my head back down. Hope all CATs near and far have a great afternoon.

Today's weigh in was (drumroll .....) -2.8 pounds!!!!! I wasn't sure it would stick. So far, since I've recommitted to WW, I am down 12.6, and 5%! I am THRILLED to be moving away from numbers I haven't seen in at least a year! No matter what I did last year, I couldn't stop the weight gain, and then when I got to a high number, I couldn't make it go down. I just think it was all tied to my very unhappy home life. Not that I'm all that happy, but, well you know, things will start looking up someday.
Oh, and Susan. Since I am not on FB anymore, at night I will go on Connect and look at the posts. The before and afters are what really keep me motivated. I pooh poohed Connect at first, but it is a continual feed of inspiration, I'm amazed at how many lives have changed for the good through WW! Inspirational.
After my meeting I went to marshalls and picked up a swim suit and my 10 pound reward, a new water bottle! I made a sheet with small goals on it, little rewards for each 5 pound increment. My next 5 pound reward is a cookbook.
Karla, I saw your invite, but I suppose I should do it. I'm just traveling TH and FR and not sure how I would end up for the hustle goal.
Anne, So glad to see you back posting.
Missy! WOW. What great news!! Thank God. Glad you had a good weekend.
This afternoon I'm going to clean for an hour then walk on the TM for an hour.

Just got off phone with DMom. Frustrating time to actually get ahold of her. That's all gone now since I was able to talk with her. Friday's volunteer gig didn't equal many steps. Worked at getting a few more in tho. My weigh in Saturday was down 1.4#. Talked with Frieda before she saw Beauty and the Beast. Groceries for the week bought & put away. Woke up with bad headache that wouldn't budge. Took a nap when got home. 2-2.5 hrs later...Stister came by for a drop off and run visit. She returned my winter scarf. Sunday was a lazy day. Found a recipe for Bibimbap. Original recipe was 18 sp. It won't be a recipe that I make very often! But it was good. Today, cleaning and food prep is the order of the day. Will take a quick walk to library as a book is due. (I had too heavy of a backpack the other day to take all in one walk.) Frieda - Glad you enjoyed Beauty & the Beast. While kiddos are away, what are things that they don't like to do/eat/etc? Give yourself some "ME" time. WooHoo on your weight loss for the week! Missy - A big sigh of relief over your dm's news! Karla - Hoping the long lazy weekend will hold you thru the craziness of testing, etc. Shari - House hunting is exhausting work. When we looked, we tried to limit how many we had on our list. As we were driving around we found others. Linda - saw a video today of a giant chicken. They mentioned it was a brahma? Not sure. Susan - New memories will be good. Hope the auditors leave quickly and without any bad marks. T - Welcome back. The never ending Mt. Laundry is calling. Where's the mute button? I have a Job Fair tomorrow. Very close by. HUGS to all~ m

Lots of good news here today, and I am sorry I'm getting on so late that it isn't sticking well enough for proper replies, but I am getting the gist of good test results for CATs and kin, returns home, housing pending in rather exciting ways, and pounds down! Frieda, that is especially awesome news about the progress since you recommitted. May I follow your lead!
I attended my first WeWa meeting in longer than I can remember, and weighed in at a huge gain since last time. DGF joined me, and I got a very nice welcome back from two members who remember DGF and me from our last foray. I've tracked my day. When I got home I turned leftover chicken and stock into chicken soup. It was really good. Lunch for tomorrow is packed, the coffee is set up, and breakfast is planned.
Linda, "Under My Thumb" by The Rolling Stones is playing in my head, as I giggle at the torn up baseball scholarship app.
Time for me to turn in. I was struggling with delayed spring-forward-itis today, beginning with oversleeping this morning.I was at work 45 minutes after I woke up, but I think I was sleep-walking.

Hola!
I told myself I would get here early to post today. I have been lurking.
How I do feel so distanced from everyone. I hate it.
Shari- you are moving southward permanently or just for winters?
Linda, I'm not surprised to hear do dgs mischief and the application torn up. Some things never change.
Karla, how are things in your area? Still dry? I thought of you during our wildfires. So terrible.
What else? Mcat got a trip home and dm a clean bill of health?
So exciting for Frieda and Martha to have losses. I seem to be bouncing up and down at the same number since recommitting in November. I guess it's better than going up.
T, good for you getting back to a meeting. Regardless. Someone said last week "it could be higher".
Anne, when is the convention? Next month, correct?
Susan, is the beach house on the market yet? Oh how'd I love for one more trip! Someone will love it. Have you and MM scouted potitonal locations? Just how close with Shari be?
Guess it's scare in these parts as of late. I need to make myself less scarce as life slows down. Two weeks til the move. BBQ plans on arriving June 1-ish after graduation. I'm ready to just get there and jump in. It's been a long transition, nearly 2 months! The new job is good so far. Working remotely is hard, but two more months. I really like my office and staff. My own office is merely a perk.
Anywho. I should go to bed. My parents are coming to visit this weekend and I should probably secure a uhaul or the likes for the move? Priorities.
Good to hear from you all. Miss you!!!
