DotRen, As of now we have free testing clinics most days of the week. You don't need insurance, symptoms, an appointment, or pre-screen, you just show up. I was wondering what the cost would be at an Urgent Care, although I think Medicare is paying for the tests. Don't know if you have to have symptoms for that.

My dd just had a Covid test (actually for antibodies) in preparation for surgery. She was sent to a drive thru site and it was quick. She had the results back that night. However, in order to get tested there she had to have a doctor's order.

At the beginning of this in March/April some doctor's group set up drive up testing in a number of towns. They said the person getting the COVID test wouldn't have to pay anything the doctor would take what the insurance paid. So this doctor decided the people needed to be tested for a wide range of respiratory illnesses and he charged the insurance companies $6,000 per person. Cigna told him they would pay for the COVID test but not for the other tests. He is squawking that Cigna owes him over four million dollars.

We got through our very scaled back Thanksgiving (number of people, not amount of food). It was just dh, younger dd and I. I got dressed up somewhat and even put on makeup! Dinner was great, we got it from Sprouts. We talked on the phone to all family. Now, just have to deal with all of the leftovers.

I got dressed up somewhat and even put on makeup! Oooh, la-la! Kind of fun, isn't it? OT, does this ever happen to you when you're doing the Quick Quote? The cursor gets inside the quote somehow and I can't get it out without exiting and starting all over again. Maddening! I have been using the mouse left-handed so I have a lot of fumbles. My new gaming mouse makes my right hand ache, but not the left hand. Go figure.

luanne, that is easier. But I often only want to reference a portion of someone's post.

Jennifer , how are you and your family doing? Thank you for asking DotRen we are much better and very slowly the lingering symptoms are getting better too. The fatigue, cough, sense of taste and smell and headache linger for quite a while. I am heading back to the salon tomorrow. I have talked to all of my clients, many are ready to see me some are waiting until January. I completely understand and am fine with it, they have to do what is comfortable for them. I felt it was important to be upfront and honest with them all, I did not want to have them in my chair and then tell them I just had covid.
