But Kellyanne said people will be given hand sanitizer and masks. That should keep everyone safe.

Article from CNN saying there will be no social distancing at Trump's rally and masks are optional. The arena holds 20,000 and they are saying they expect it to be full. I want to make a snarky comment about Darwin but then I remember that those fools will be leaving that rally and going back into the community.

I wonder what the age will be at the rally. My husband told me that at least one state was having trouble finding delegates to go to the Republican convention because of the age of the usual delegates.

Don't forget the waiver that is included in the registration that excuses DT et al from any liability if rally attendees contract COVID-19.

One more note about FOX News. Despite all the illness, the deaths, the grief, the losses---they are still saying that there is not a heckuva lot to see here, move along, get on with the rallies!! >>Laura Ingraham Calls Anthony Fauci ‘Medical Deep State.’The Fox News host advised the president to ignore the “alarmist COVID drivel” and get on with his campaign rallies. Public health officials have warned Saturday’s event at the 19,000-capacity BOK Center could prove catastrophic in spreading the virus that has now killed more than 118,000 people nationwide. But Ingraham, a staunch defender of Trump, argued the warnings were bunk.<< www.huffpost.com/entry/laura-ingraham-fauci-donald-trump-rally_n_5ee8661dc5b6b735a648667c

wow. that is hardcore how much they are doubling down on this. seems ridiculous that the president would listen to a talk show host over an experienced medical professional, but that is the world we live in for now. hopefully not further out than jan 2021. i can't fathom that more lives have to be lost because of this. we lead the world in cases. how is this a good thing and why are we dismissing the fact that it's a deadly and highly contagious virus? this isn't january 2020 when we didn't know as much. the public is informed of the cases and the dangers. if they choose to listen to unqualified individuals, that's a darn shame.

Connecticut numbers from today: 114 more positive cases, 5,041 more reported tests, 6 more deaths, and hospitalizations are down 2. Those numbers look better than Ohio, that's good to see. We are still seeing around 400ish new cases every day.

Personally, I think it is irresponsible to put peoples lives at risk for a campaign rally. However, I guess people will make their own decisions. It's just unfortunate that those choices will impact the lives of others.
