Good Morning ~ I triple checked and didn't see the thread started...hoping I didn't duplicate The SUN will be out this morning but by afternoon the rains and 'Chance of Thunderstorms' begins. Every. Single. Day. And of course, we had BIG plans for this weekend like kayaking and bike riding I had even planned to to stain the deck next week but OMG to the weather being RAIN every day - really hoping it surprises us by moving past us and still leave us SUNSHINE here. At least our temps will be back up to the 70s so it will be bearable. Had another struggling day at home/work. I did sit outside on our deck, under my new umbrella and worked - so the morning was quite productive. I had a late lunch and then it all went down hill from there. I just could not muster up the mental energy...I DID try and try, moved to different areas of the house - DD24 was out at her job and DH was quietly watching videos and listening to his music so it was not due to a busy household. I was tired. Finally just called it a day at 2:30 since no one seemed available to reply to any emails I was sending...

Good morning! I woke up early this morning. I usually sleep until the alarm clock goes off at 630 am. Guess I have too much on my mind. Tomorrow is the mri. I will reset my alarm clock so i get up at 5 am so i can at least have coffee. May make breakfast, will see how i feel.
They are opening up the Memory care my Mum is in after the 4th of July to family visits. They are doing it in a very controlled way. Family's have to make an appointment, it will be outside, keeping social distancing guidelines, no more than 2 people, etc. May make a trip up there to see her in person.
Grabbing more coffee and reading up from yesterday

Carole - is today Tracy's surgery? I don't even remember what she was having done - maybe that's why I missed seeing you here this morning. Hopefully today AND tomorrow's days away from work will be a nice break for you. Sending you lots of sunshine and warmer temps for that Pool Time!
Yesterday Carly brought her autistic client over to see ColbyGirl - the boy has a golden retriever too and is still getting used to dogs - Carly used the chance to meet Colby as a 'reward' for him doing his chores. Very interesting young man (16 yr old). And wow, is he ever verbal! Talks and talks and talks non-stop using mature speech and large vocabulary words. It seems his listening skills were not developed. He does respond to Carly's prompts to slow down his rambling speech as he does not realize the 'give and take' of social interactions. Anyways, he was happy to walk around our yard with me to tell me each and every plant we have growing. And yes, he quickly identified Poison Ivy in the pachysandra behind our deck. He very casually said, "and you have an invasion of poison ivy here..." as he moved along the yard...lol Afterwards Carly took him back to his house and after some reading lessons, they used the family's in-ground pool. NICE! She did say her client lives in a beautiful upscale neighborhood -
Sue - hopefully today your back is feeling better after a night of pampering it with heat and support. Do any stretches help? Eager to hear what's the latest from Todd.
Gabrielle - WOW that must have been a super long, super stressful day yesterday!! So glad it is all over - when does your time off begin??
I need to get moving early here - I am OFF tomorrow and would like to head in to the office early today in order to leave a little early - No big plans on Father's Day this weekend. Gary is quite content that every year we get his subscription for NFL Ticket on the Direct TV as his Father's Day/Birthday present. But LINDSEY will be home so that alone will be his biggest gift as he just misses her to pieces. She is driving up Saturday and indicated she would stay 'a few days' so there is that...

Good morning!
Heading out soon to run with the other two people who meet early on Thursdays---doing this instead of the TM as my first Zoom starts at 8:00 and I can make that time. Have to drop off my car to be serviced (routine) and get a quote on new tires (uggh, that will be expensive). I am SO glad that yesterday is over...I hadn't mentioned that I had a 7:30 Board meeting and there was a BIG issue that came up there---wound up being in that meeting for over 2 hours and rushing to get my Zoom meeting started--the Zoom meeting went GREAT. A good, focused workgroup talking about Fall planning to accelerate learning. Then I had the Zoom with my staff about re-opening schools. It went okay, but some people want assurances that I just can't give them. One person actually asked, "There are enough tests now, can't you have the kids test for COVID every day??" AAHHH!! These are kids that live in a group home.....they are confined! Anyway, that was only one person--and there was one other that didn't care that we had social distancing, mask wearing, screening for kids two times a day....it is just a reminder of what we face in the fall bringing staff back. Enough of that!
Christine: Thanks for starting us today. I can't believe how much rain is in the forecast! Wow! I also hope that it is wrong. Hmmm...if there is lightening, no water sports, but maybe you can get on a bike until you hear it? I hope that you can enjoy the outside! Good for you for calling it a day at 2:30. With the lack of email responses, you all are probably tired and in need of a break. How great that Carly brought over the client! He sounds like a 6th grade autistic student we had at my middle school (when I was principal)...he would come to my lunchtime homework club (I'd help kids) and then talk and talk about movies--he could remember so many lines. Years later, I was at the grocery store pushing the cart out to my car and I heard a familiar voice behind me talking and talking=-- a woman was resonding, "Oh? Really?"...I turned around and it was Eric! My autistic kiddo! He was about 19 and he was a clerk! The perfect job for him! Love that Carly is doing this and learning about it. You are fortunate that Gary is easy in the FD dept...I have no idea what to do for DH! My mom's bd is on 6/26 too...it is hard when you can't just "drop in" stores and shop. So glad that Linds will be home. Hope that you have a good day and feel better about it all!
Jo: Thinking about you as you count down to the MRI and (hopefully) get your results quickly. I can see why you are distracted. We'll be thinking about you!

Sue: I hope that your back is feeling a bit better---no working today, right? I hope that is the case!
Carole: I lost track of days too...is today Tracy's surgery? If so, looking forward to hearing how well it all went and thinking about all of you!
Hello to Lisa, Jenny, Shelly, Nadine, and all who follow. Time to get moving...oh, is it Friday yet??? Have a good day and I am going to think THIN!

Christine. Thanks for starting us off. Sorry for the lack of focus you experienced yesterday. It is hard to stay focused at hone sometimes. Lol to living with 12 year old. I get it. Yes very much looking forward to being up there this year. I thought working in education was a constant learning job..lol. nice you have a deck and umbrella to sit under to work outside. Yes I think you are right about my brain fog being overload. Looking forward to getting this overwith.i hope your rain's pass on by.
Carole, oh no!! That is so frustrating! There is no good reason why the drive right past you twice! I hope you buy from somewhere else when things settle down. You will find a better fridge at a cheaper price. My sister is high risk for Covid and she doesn't feel comfortable staying with all of us at the house. We are hoping she changes her mind, I am anyway.
Gabrielle, you had as busy day yesterday. Hope today is a little easier for you. Emilie is going to school to be as mechanic. She is the only girl in her class, no surprise there.
Got to get ready signing onto work at 730 to make up some hours.
Waves to everyone.

Morning all...slept in and it was a much needed good night's sleep! Tuesday into Wednesday was NOT a good sleep...kept waking up, wondering if I would be heading to work or staying home...fighting "door mat" feelings! Anyway, yesterday I did get a "glimmer" of hope that I will eventually get back to Sheridan at some point. Here is the "quick version"....
First, on Tuesday many stopped at the table very excited and said "you're back" and of course I had to say...nope, just handwork!! A couple people mentioned "well, at least they are keeping you from paying COBRA" and as you know I'm so grateful for that. Made me feel good that I was and still am important to many people in there!! At the end of the day Todd came out and said that the person that was to come in 2nd shift (he's on light duty for a while) called in sick so there is a possibility that if no one helps with the 2nd half of the job it would be still there in the morning! He asked if I minded if he called me in the morning after talking to the 3rd shift supervisor to see if anything got done! Well, as you know, it didn't...it looked just as I left it on Tuesday so into work I went!!
So then yesterday I went in for a 2nd day of sitting ALL BY MYSELF doing cover-tipping, I was alone both days and wondered why they had only called me for a HUGE job....anyway, toward the end of the day Todd came out to thank me for the help the last two days and was glad I agreed to wait for his call yesterday to see if they needed me. He then said "I'm going to tell you this off the record and if you mention it to anyone...I WILL deny it"! OK, so that made me curious! He then proceeded to tell me that both he and Paul fear my job, like Rita's, could become unnecessary, get eliminated and my duties would be absorbed by others...but those two are looking for a "fit" for me in the place so that I will be back....he commented on my commitment, work ethic, great attendance, willingness to do anything they ask of me, etc....a glowing evaluation feeling!! That made me feel great. I have two guys fighting for me. Todd then said, "we haven't forgotten you, we cannot make any promises and don't have a 'crystal ball' to know if and when it could happen but that is why you are the one we call so we can keep you from paying COBRA and the financial burden on you and Jason down the only way we can with the hopes that we can get you back"! My job could be parts of my current job with other responsibilities but it would me "my position" that they managed to get approved to keep me at Sheridan until hopefully retirement. Trying not to get my hopes out but at least I know Todd and Paul are fighting for me and that makes me feel great!!
Oh...random tidbit....I know I have mentioned my DF Lynne...one of the Y gang....we worked together for 15 years at the Y and then both ended up at Sheridan! Anyway, her youngest daughter just had her 1st baby a couple weeks ago in TX and they had planned to go to TX next week to meet their new grandson....BUT, thanks to COVID-19 and the recent surge in TX of the virus Sheridan has instituted a policy that IF you travel to any "hot spots" like TX, AZ, FL at the moment, you will need to quarantine for 14 days when you get home before you can come back to work....so needless to say, Lynne will NOT be going to TX at this point. Breaks my heart for her as I know she was so excited to snuggle the new baby....Lauren had 2 miscarriages before Forrest was born so he is truly a blessing to the family!! Guess it's a good thing we already cancelled out trip to TX since I would NOT want to be quarantined for 14 days at this point!!
Need more coffee then back to catch up!!

Good morning! I missed posting here on work it Wednesday, but I did take a walk. We had unexpected overnight guests last night. About 9 pm Grace called and I guess the building next to them had a gas leak and they were cutting power to the whole block. So they stayed here but were out of here at 7:30 because Geoff had to take Grace to work in residential at her school. I'm sure all is clear by now and I hope they don't lose all the food that Grace just got yesterday.
Christine-thanks for starting us off. Sorry that it was hard to focus yesterday - that's why I don't want to work from home aside from not having a modern computer, a webcam, or dependable internet. Actually someone from the extra help office called to update my status (she was working from home and calling all the EH workers) and I said that I'm available for in office but not remote so it might be awhile but the University is slowly transitioning. The hot weather returns here now and rain chance from Saturday-Wednesday right now.
Carole-I would have been very upset about the cancelled delivery and probably would have cancelled my order too unless I was getting a helleva deal on the refrigerator. These third party things sometimes end bad. I know that Walmart doesn't accept returns from third party vendors of items sold on their website. I hope that things are going ok otherwise. You have been doing great on tracking.
Jo-hope the MRI goes well and give you more medical answers. Glad to hear that they are opening up visits for your DM in early July. I can't imagine being unable to see family members in person for a long period of time.
Gabrielle-when I read about your yesterday, I'm glad it is over for you too! Must be the season for new tires - mine ran about $500 and I thought that was reasonable. Yes schools around here are saying that they will make a decision about the structure of fall by mid-July and have made the year round schools traditional for this coming year. So understandably a lot of parents are caught in the unknown of childcare plus their own work unknowns perhaps.
Sue-I hope that you can recover from the exhausting 2 days. I am exhausted now whenever I work a whole day at an extra help job, probably more mentally exhausted but also physically. That's why I like to do half days - they get the best of me and I still have some of me left when I come home.
Shoutout to Jenny, Shelly, Nadine, and ATF.
I have a couple of errands to do and the stores should be open by now. Hope you all have a great Thursday. THe weekend is almost here!

Shelly...so sorry you feel so crappy...hope it didn't ruin your weekend away?? Hopefully the meds kick in quickly and the COVID results come back quickly and negative....I would be so worried until I knew for sure wondering if I had exposed any of those you visited to the virus. I know here in PA they would ALL need to be quarantined for 14 days IF you test positive!! Did you try taking the oral meds with food or a glass of milk...that will sometimes help with the nausea?? Worth a try!! Take time to rest and get your body to a healthy state again....you have been so busy and maybe your body is just telling you it's time to SLOW DOWN!!!
OK...after Todd told me likely no more hours this week, HR just called to ask if I could come in tomorrow. I asked Kim about whether or not it would ruin my unemployment and she said as long as I don't go over my max for partial I will get docked for the state but still be eligible for the $600 from the federal stimulus so that will work for me....with working 3 days this week, I come in about $35 under my max so now I know I can work up to 3 days/week to still benefit from the $600.
Carole...thanks for starting us off Tuesday and your tracker looks great! Sorry Monday was a rough day...hey, cut yourself some slack...you have had a lot of "firsts" lately with a a couple more this weekend so it is understandable that you are overwhelmed. Glad you got the freezer emptied and ready for delivery of the new fridge!! LOL, no, I'm barely functioning at 7:00am so fingers crossed you are not the 1st stop of the day!! Yes, with the new fridge coming leftovers so they don't have to go to waste is the perfect dinner!! So glad you are feeling better today...yes, everything likely did "hit the fan" and you just needed to step back, regroup and recharge as best you can amidst the pandemic chaos!!
Christine...yes, the early part of our week was cooler than usual with really low humidity which made it down right chilly in the shade. Today the humidity comes back as well as the "scattered" T-storm possibilities every day for the next week or so.... Well, maybe you can work at the office on Wednesday...I'm sure it would be better for both you and Gary. Hope your plan to find "projects" that would be best completed at the office!!
WOO HOO for hair color....glad your stylist is trying to help all of you as you stay in yellow!! Sure hope Erie cases level off and you too can go to green soon. Yes, best to keep her safe if her immune system is compromised. Guess by now, you have your new color since you had to use it so quickly after getting it mixed....I'm sure it makes you feel like a million bucks to get it done!!
Yes, the timing of many appointments at our house was right after we got shut down too...I'm excited I can FINALLY get my massage on Saturday and tomorrow night it is an "on site" paint night!! Instead of 20-25 people, Lacey limited to only 10 people and offered 2 nights. We are all so excited and the first night is mostly "our group of regulars"!! I think we are 5 or 6 of the 10!! We are actually getting a pizza and eating out on the porch of the studio so it is really "like normal"!
Carole....glad you found the "ding" in the window, even if it doesn't warrant replacing, best to let them know so it's on record just in case anything does happen to it!! I have to admit, I had no "visual" of what the outside would look like taking out a slider and replacing it with bay window but I do love the look.
Really Carole??? A gift card for the hassles from the roofing company! I sure hope it covers all the things you need to fix because of their carelessness! Just so you know, I have been doing very well with my water lately!! I always do well at work and not on weekends but having been home, I needed to really make a conscious effort here to get my water in! Will say I'm still on coffee now but will make the switch soon to water/seltzer for the rest of the day!!
You know Carole...I'm not a tattoo fan either but some are very nice and as long as they can be covered when someone needs to be professional, I don't mind them but Kris getting more and more, plus piercings when she's not paying bills is CRAZY!!! David actually mentioned after she left..."wonder if her car will be repossessed"!! I have a CR-V....I know we put a HUGE down payment on it to keep our monthly payments down and she put NOTHING down so her payment each month is HUGE!!
Carole...the electric mower will be perfect for what you need to do with a hand mower!! Hannah and Shea can almost get all of their mowing done on one battery is it is "too long"!! If they don't get to mow because of rain or something the extra length wears down the battery so they have to use the 2nd one. Hope Ken loves it!!
Will say my "lazy lasagna" has been a HUGE hit this week!! Jason was raving about it last night again! I will say mixing everything together with the egg noodles instead of the taking the time to layer a traditional is a huge time saver and the taste is exactly the same. I know when I put a piece of traditional on my plate and cut it all into a pile of bite-sized pieces so this version just saves me that step!! YUP...lazy for sure! LOL!!
I made the decision to NOT go to PF for a few weeks to see what "going green" does to our county COVID-19 cases.....I know gyms are NOT the best place and people are breathing heavy, sweating, some don't clean off the equipment very well so for me, I just don't want to take the chances this soon after opening! LOL, no, I'm not a gym rat either Carole so that might be why I don't feel the need to "rush in" to PF!!

Carole...glad you plan to take both Thursday and Friday for Tracy's surgery....sounds like a good plan to get some added rest/relaxation and time at the outlets if that can be coordinated and Tracy feels up to it!!
Christine.....I actually had to check with Alex, the benefits coordinator in HR, about blood work for Jason....we usually have the multiphasic spring and fall at work but this year the April one was cancelled so when Jason had his physical the doctor gave him some options. If they sent it through "Quest" (Alex had heard of that) it would be $62 so Jason wanted to know if we sent it to insurance what would it cost!! Thankfully she said if it is coded as "routine wellness" it would be 100% covered so that is the best option!! My physical is next week so I will do the same thing!! Anyway, when I was there I tried to "pick her brain" to see if she had any insight for anyone. She also mentioned that unfortunately the choices are from "the powers that be" that are NOT at our site and everyone's hand are tied at this point!! HR also has an admin, Steph, that they are not sure about her position either...I feel bad for Steph as she is like me...in the final years until retirement...she will actually be 62 this fall and her position is as uncertain as mine!! It just sucks all the way around for so many!!
Jo....sorry for the "foggy feeling" and the fact that the Estroven isn't working. I was on Estradiol for a years and it worked OK...I did have to have it increase at one point and then later started to decrease the dose to see if I was through the worst of menopause but I wasn't, that's when I started using the Progessence Plus from YL. After I couple weeks I started to take the Estradiol every other day and since I didn't have symptoms coming back I eventually went off the med and the PP keeps my night sweats and mood swings "in check"!! Hope you can figure it out....menopause is miserable!!
I did see Em's hair...it looks nice darker and I didn't think it looked "black" but now I know why! Sorry you and Steve have been arguing....this whole situations puts many on edge and sometimes it can get to a boiling point and things that you might have "let slide" 3 months ago seem more annoying! LOL, Jason has his moments of being unbelievably hard-headed!!
Hey Jo...Friday is almost here!!! Finally get the MRI and some answers!!!
Lisa...great idea to get in the bike ride before the heat builds. Hopefully by late summer/fall you will have another assignment....yes, things work out as they should. LOL, yes, the garden down at the "lot" behind Sarah is huge...it's a 1/2 acre building lot, no it's not really a farm or even a farmette but it is MUCH bigger that the average home garden. The one at our house is actually 45' x 62'....actually also bigger than most home gardens. Jason loves it so that's what matters!! I have a dentist appointment on the 29th and will go through the same protocol....call from the car and the hygienist will come out with questions, thermometer, etc.....I am glad that I can at least keep my original appointment for both the dentist and PCP.....mine thankfully were both late June so made it to "green" in time to keep them!!

Carole....great "work it" ideas and reminders for all....sorry work is so chaotic and continually messed up! I saw on FB yesterday that your lobbies are opening soon. I had to stop at our bank yesterday and so far the lobby is only "by appointment" for now. They could open the lobby but would need to have someone monitoring the number of people in the lobby at any one time and since lobby traffic at most of the branches is so low, they are choosing to air on the side of caution for a few more weeks to see what "green" does to the numbers.
I did see on the news and FB that Florida is re-closing bars again because of the huge spike in the state since they opened up. I know people in PA are frustrated with how slow things are opening back up but I also will say that with the gradual VERY slow opening, things are not spiking. In the 3 weeks since we went yellow and started to open the numbers in our county have stayed down and actually dropped a bit lower....will see what will happen with the "green" freedom and more things opening...plus the protests from a week or so ago!! I know many are still annoyed with the restrictions of green but I do feel like PA has done a pretty good job of keeping the numbers in check with the opening process!!
OK...now I just talked to Todd....apparently they furloughed someone in Back Issues at the other warehouse and for some reason they are not calling her back to cover vacations at this point so they want me to come in tomorrow and all next week to 'train' with Tonya & Gloria and then I will cover vacations for both of them back to back weeks so I am now working for the next 3 weeks. Todd said, "this will give you one more skill to make you more useful/valuable to all of us so hopefully we can keep you here"! I have to stop at the main building to get my temperature taken and will check in with him and Kim in HR about how to handle unemployment as this may just be a temporary 3 weeks so want to get all my ducks in a row so I don't screw anything up! I am so grateful for all Todd is doing to keep me there!! I will snag a few things from my desk while I'm in the Todd so I have some of my "snacks" handy since I will be at the other building for the next 3 weeks!!
And the roller coaster ride continues....
Just got a text from Sarah to see if we could watch Kellen and Jackson NEXT weekend as they will be staying at the tournament for Colton and will be a long weekend for boring baseball for the other too so I will pick them up at 4:15pm on Friday the 26th and they will pick them back up on Sunday! I'm excited for that too!! My life is starting to feel a "bit more normal"!!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME Carole...I would be so pi$$ed the fridge didn't get delivered. I can speak from experience, even our outdated GPS can find you!! I know that many delivery people do go the farthest from the store 1st, then come closer as they make deliveries but the fact that they went past you TWICE is ridiculous!! I don't blame you for cancelling the order since you really don't "need" a new one at this point but just wanted one!! Yes, everything you have tried to do this spring has had a snafu.....when it rains it pours!!
Hopefully you can get into your stylist on Saturday...yes, 8:30am is early but you are right...if that's all she's got you can't be picky!! LOL, yes, hair gets to the point that it just needs to be cut and that's why I gave myself a "trim" a couple weeks ago!! Part of the reason I don't have bangs anymore is because I can't stand them hanging in my eyes....my forehead is really low so it doesn't take long for them to be in my eyes! When I had my hair short I had it cut every 4 weeks because it grows so fast and my bangs were out of control!!!

Christine...bummer you couldn't find a way to head into the office today....sounds like even with Gary home will be more quiet and drama free!! YAY for the good WI...sounds like with the lower humidity all the puffiness and water retention left your system...I know my rings are loose again but fear it won't be like that after the next HHH stretch in the forecast! LOL...sorry you feel like you are living with "pre-teens"!! Yes, it's annoying that Carly puts you in the middle of her frustration with her dad!!
Oh my Christine...sorry you had to get caught up in the "back and forth" between the girls! Sometimes my girls try to draw me in to their "issues" but I just plead the 5th and don't let them engage me! It's hard because I can see both sides most of the time so one or the other is not right or wrong....they are just different and need to figure out how to "agree to disagree" sometimes. Hopefully one of the 3 applications will come through with some summer employment for Linds!
OYE....Barbie & QB just don't quit, do they??? Can't believe they are not reading the book suggestions you give to help improve their leadership skills and knowledge base!! Of course teachers/administrators have to keep learning over time. Heck, with all jobs things change and evolve so every job needs "learning" as the years go by!! WOW, they are in for a rude awakening and I hope it "bites them in the caboose" one day!!
Gabrielle...hopefully the presentation Wednesday went well, was well received and you do indeed feel like things were lifted off your shoulders!! So schools opening next week is "summer school" I know our schools aren't opening until next school year as normal?? I'm confused! LOL...yes, Kris is consistently a "bone head" and "drain on my patience"!! Yes...I actually heard that SW pushed the middle seat restriction from the end of July into the fall some time.....they are definitely trying to be as proactive with safely as they can be on an airplane!!
Yes....my body is feeling a bit better today but will plan to pamper by back a bit today so that when I head to work the next few weeks I will be in good shape. One nice thing is I will have a new, decent chair and on the "rejects" that are at the handwork tables!!
Christine....nope, I was still sound asleep at 7:00am this morning....according to my FitBit I slept over 9 hours last night and I'm finally feeling fairly rested!! NOPE....I don't see any deck staining for you next week...we have the same "chance of T-storm" forecast as you so nothing outside is a guarantee. That is why Jason has been scrambling the last 3 days to get all the sweet potato rows done and put in the next corn batch. He hopes to get some corn and green beans planted here at the house soon...he always plants 3-4 batches of corn, each a couple weeks apart so we have a LONG fresh corn season. He always plants a 2nd batch of green beans too so we have them well into the fall! Glad you "called it a day" early yesterday....doesn't sound like anyone else is putting in a full day!!
Jo....good idea to get up early tomorrow to enjoy at least a cup of coffee....what time is your MRI??? I know you mentioned it but forget what you said!! It sounds l like the Memory Care facility is opening the same what as one of the local nursing homes/senior living centers.....they have the outside visiting space with NO physical contact but at least you can hear each others voice and appointments are required as well....it's not perfect, but better than nothing at this point. I know my DF Lynne went to see Mimi as soon as they could visit and she mentioned what a boost it was for Mimi's spirit to just have that limited contact with family!!
Christine...I think Tracy's surgery is next Thursday the 25th!! How fun for Carly to "reward" her client with a visit with Colby Girl! Sounds like he does respond well to Carly and hopefully it will be a positive experience for both of them!! My cousin Kristin's youngest son, Bryan, is also autistic and the social skills I remember being very tough to master...Bryan is now about 27-28 and much better but still has his "impulsive" moments that can get him in trouble...something that he will always struggle with due to the autism. LOL, glad you warned you about the poison ivy!!! Nice Carly got to enjoy some pool time too!!
We have no big plans for Father's day except to go to Colton's tournament....he plays at 8:30 and 10:50 on Saturday but I have my massage at 10:00am and I am NOT cancelling that...I've been waiting almost 3 months or it to be rescheduled. This tournament is in Camp Hill about an hour from here so not a bad drive. I'm looking forward to some good baseball! Oh, speaking for baseball, Kellen had decided that he no longer wants to play....while everyone is disappointed, but his heart is just not in it...he's not as competitive as Colton is and as much as he loves practice, he hates the pressure of the games. I'm sure Gary will be happy to have both girls home for the day!! Seems he and Linds are closer than he and Carly!!
Gabrielle....glad you get an outside run early today instead of TM....glad the later Zoom call made it possible. Oh my yes, tires can be very expensive depending on what car you have. I know the van tires are really pricey but the Corolla tires are not....haven't had to replace any on the CR-V yet so not sure how much they will be! Glad your day yesterday FINALLY ended....bummer the board meeting went so late!! Hopefully today will be short end uneventful!!
Lisa...glad you could make room for Grace and Geoff....gas leaks are always scary!! Hopefully it is all clear now and all the food is fine....they say if you don't open a fridge it will stay cold for 24 hours and a deep freeze for a couple days.....fingers crossed they didn't lose anything!!
Time for some lunch and a bit more heat on my back...it's starting to tighten up a bit and don't want to be "down for the count" with work coming the next several weeks!!
Shelly....hope you are feeling better and maybe even got test results for COVID-19...I know that wait has to be the worst. In the early testing days it took 7-8 DAYS for results to come through...I hear it's much better now!
Waves Jenny, Nadine and anyone else I might have missed.....
Shelly....

Oh ladies... just a rough day... morning was a later start then usual! I ended up in the guest room, and didn't set the alarm, so slept late - no time to check in here... but got to town in time to drop off my car (check engine light) then walked up to work. Walked back at the end of the day - Deb offered a ride, I SAID NO - THE WALK WILL BE GOOD FOR ME - anyway, it was some injection thing that needed replacement - fully covered, so they didn't call me, but got it done - so now home, and ready for tomorrow OFF!
No Tracy's surgery is next Thursday... we will leave town Wednesday afternoon - and come home Friday afternoon... I can't wait! I don't even care if the pool and hot tub are open - but at least I will be out of my own house!!
Can't catch up now... but will be back in the morning - NO PLANS until late in the day - to get groceries so I don't have to go Saturday!

Finally human today!!! Felt better yesterday but today was much better. After getting up early and then dozing back off on the couch I woke up to a call from the dr. They said my test came back negative and was cleared to go back to work!!! Such wonderful news but was like awe man why didn’t you wait until 3 to call and I could’ve had one more day!!! Got up got ready and went in to work. Felt good to be back. Within a couple hours got word that we finally got our first confirmed case in the town I work in and it was a lady at the bank!!! I think everyone is in a panic now. I’m glad I’ve been off for a few days and haven’t interacted with anyone from the bank Just praying my employees are all good too. I heard who it was and she shops in the store all the time so a little nervous there. Tried to convince my cashier that opened for me the last 3 days to continue opening lol. She wasn’t fond of being there at 6 everyday. Guess I’ll go back to opening but at least I have options if I need to go in later at some point. She’s good and can handle things. Just 6 am is early to be at work. Need to go back and see what everyone’s been up to.......
