This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their

Lives. Word got left off the cut and paste.
Good morning! So delightful to see good friends who have been scarcer slinking in out of the shadows.
I survived my killer day yesterday. I am about to get a workout in this a.m. to give me the stamina I need to make it to my cut and color at 4.
I hope to check in later. Two days on plan. Whoohoo, going for 3! My spring is busying up with upcoming an upcoming, just-learned-about visit from a DGF who moved east a few years ago, plus a possible visit from a DGF in FL over Easter; DH and I are booking our big summer trip. I want to be much leaner for that, so I can hike without huffing and puffing like the big bad fat wolf. Later, lovelies.

Good morning CATs! Been too long since I've checked the board. I've been sick for over a week, overwhelmed with mountains of work and turned 50 somewhere in the middle of it all. Weigh in is today but it will be very sad after days of sitting on my butt and eating comfort food including way too many sweets. Our new session starts the first week of April. With luck I'll be done with the major year-end work and can really buckle down and focus on losing these pounds that just keep creeping on.
Thinking of you all and wishing you a wonderful Wednesday!

Hi T: I think you can make every day on plan! All you have to do is track it, it erases any guilt. New found freedom! Enjoy your color and cut today!
Andrea: Happy Belated Birthday! Did you do anything fun? I'm sure you won't weigh in that badly.
I have my monthly nail appt this afternoon. I am meeting a friend for breakfast, doing a little shopping and mostly packing. Oh, and off to TM in a few minutes.
The advisors are meeting today. Both sides. First time talking if you can believe it. Would it be too much to ask that it goes well? Past results haven't gone so well, so I'm not expecting anything great. Hopefully I will get feedback today. Often that comes the next day.
Anne, I wondered about CATvention date, as now that I'm looking....that's a 40 pound gain in a year. WOWZA! Two major moves and a divorce. Stress much?? I am so proud of myself that I am trying to take control. I need to remember this when I'm down.
OK. Off to TM. Love to you all.

Aloha, Long and Lovelies!!!
It's a nice calm Wednesday today. I'll take it!!
I took DS to the dentist yesterday morning, only to find out once we got there that they no longer take his insurance. Well, gosh, it sure would have been nice if they had checked BEFORE we got there yesterday. So now I need to find a new dentist for him. And work with XH to do so. Yay me.
Colleen!!!! You sound so happy and calm, with all of the exciting opportunities happening!! When is the actual Wedding Day? Have you picked colors yet?
If we did a CATvention in Austin, on the right weekend, I could probably drag DH to a few things. He would love meeting y'all. Anne, I like the idea of the TX CATvention....
T, good for you, getting that workout in. My workout was a bit flat yesterday, but I was tired, so not totally surprised. Where is the big trip this summer?
Andrea! Happy Belated! Doing anything special to celebrate the milestone?
Lynne, I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I don't know what makes the two parties actually agree on things. I always had to go to an actual mediation (and suspect I will be again). I think you should totally be proud of yourself for taking control. It's a tough time right now, and you are focusing on what you can do, and what you can control - not what you can't. That's a big deal. I mentioned something like that to my family when I was up there visiting. They were all just really stressed.
Susan, do we need another CAT challenge to get everyone going?
Shari, I was reading this interview with Heidi Klum, and she talked about focusing on eating healthier when she moved to the states. She mentioned the same thing - it's a way of life, not a diet. I was happy to read that.
Fingers crossed for a quieter, more productive day today!! Hugs!!!!

Hi CaTs. Sunny here, 12 degrees and whipping wind. Just can't wait to take Mick out. On a good note, I have today at home and piano later. Glad for that - not enough time at home.
T, glad to hear you starting a string of success days. It's empowering! Yes, curious where this year's trip will take you.
MCat, nice anniversary? It seems longer than two years since we've known you in happy married life.
Andrea, hope feeling better is your new way of life! Enough w Humphrey. Work stress is difficult to manage but look after yourself.
Frieda, I'm very proud of you for prioritizing You and doing the best for yourself. To be specific, our CaTvention was Oct 2015 - I turned 55 and my DGF was gone in Nov. Memorable dates for me. What a wonderful time KC was. Great memories meeting my tribe.
Anne, glad to hear from you despite superbusy office times. Feeling strong about convention readiness?
Colleen, we are indeed moving and not just for winters. DH can transfer w his job, as it turns out, thankfully. And to town thisclose to Susan's town. Seeking apt, not house. Not selling ours at this point; DS planning to live here. Mick will move and has purged his toys; Cats will stay with their master.
Must take more action here. Laundry is begging for attention. Best day to All.

Yesterday's job fair went very well. I talked with about 17 people and handed out my resume 3x. Felt very upbeat when I left.
Had to return books to library. Oh, darn, I picked up more to read. When you skim/speed read, you need lots of books.
The last load of Mt Laundry at my house is in the washer. Dryer tumbling away.
Dinner tonight is: Turkey, Zucchini & Quinoa Meatloaf. From WW Power Foods cookbook.
Scullery is calling me to do prep for dinner, pack meat up for freezer and to make cookies for DH.
HUGS~

Back from cut'n'color and making dinner. Haircut looks a lot like T-avatar.
Indian dish tonight. Good stuff. Turkey, spinach, yoghurt, no point spices and aromatics. Some brown rice under it all. Yum.
I'm so happy every time I see a CAT post. Purrrrr.
