I'm wondering if this might be about "boys will be boys" but girls better be perfect.
birdgal , When I first read this, I decided it wasn't worth it to respond. However, it's gotten on my nerves. Over the years, there have been veryvery very few male politicians I've trusted. There was one local guy, but after he was elected to a position in Washington, he was caught in a scandal and sent back home. Politicians, regardless of what's between their legs, have proved to me that they are no more than politicians. I thought that guy was different; he hadn't been a politician when he first ran for mayor of San Diego (and his second political job was in the House in DC). Maybe it was Washington that corrupted him, who knows, but the bottom line is he proved to me what I had always felt; namely, that politicians are not to be trusted. Please don't guess at my motives; it's insulting.
