wholeheartedly agree with this! i bought a new mattress last fall and i just love it. extra plush extra tall king size and just feels so luxurious. of course since i got the bed my side tables look ridiculously low next to it but i'm contemplating ways to give them some more height. like a stack of magazines or coffee table books. |

finreporter, depending on the type of legs on your bedside table, you might be able to get some type or risers. They might be more stable than that stack of magazines or books! LOL Today I'm thankful for my new fan for my bedroom!

no i mean the stack would go on top of the table tops! not trying to stabilize them from the bottom of the legs! haha that would not work out very well! these are my side tables.  so more like how you'd do stack of magazines and coffee table books on a table except i'd keep them equal in height (so stack same amount on both sides) and then put a lamp on top.  i love stacks coffee table books and magazines and have them around my house in various places. so i'd just be doing it on my side tables now. i don't know why i hadn't though to do that before. not my house below though i wish!  |

Ice water and AC. It is 102 here. oh goodness becky, and you guys have the miserable nausea inducing heat! good for you for keeping up the hydration. TX is one of those places where i think i've hydrated enough until i realize i have a splitting headache and feel gross. i don't think i've ever gotten dehydrated here at home or when i lived in the bay area, new mexico, or seattle. but in TX, every single time. |

He came into school and painted a bulletin board in the hallway with chalkboard paint. It looks wonderful!! This things was a mess, in very bad condition and very large to cover with anything. Looks so fresh now

finreporter I am glad I can stay inside in the afternoons.They just said feel like is 107. I hope your mom is doing okay in San Antonio.I know it gets even hotter there.
