My wonderful son-in-law. He decided to work from home today in case there was any problem getting 2 kids logged on to the school network. Yes, there were big problems. Getting 80,000 students logged in caused huge bottle necks. DSIL finally succeeded so both kids could attend 1st period Zoom classes. Whew! It's going to be a long virtual school year, at least for awhile.

Women - Strong, courageous, smart, funny - all of us!!! i always joke that instead of using the expression to "man up" that it really should be to "woman up". we're the ones that are strongest and just git' er' done when needed. through sickness, frustration, whatever the case is, we keep it moving along no matter what! that's why we need more female leaders all around! |

DebDoesWW , bbbearsmom , thanks! So far, so good as of 3:35 PM. Where I live there is more infrastructure than the folks out in the hills. It seems to make a huge difference with the fires as far as access to firefighters and equipment. This morning at the Cal Fire press conference a speaker was saying large embers could travel 10 miles ahead of the fire if the winds are strong. Scary. Still just smoke and ash for me.
