Let's do a daily post with just ONE THING we are grateful for. With everything that is going on, sometimes it is hard to remember to focus on the good things too. It can be funny, silly, serious, whatever, no judgments here.
Sleep. I had forgotten what it's like to have to feed something throughout the night 😴🤣

My grandson and his partner came from PA for a deck visit!!! I haven't seen him since March - My DH and I don't do any inside visits now. The weather could not have been more perfect or the company
I feel so grateful!!

I had forgotten what it's like to have to feed something throughout the night And what did you have to feed through out the night? Grocery shopping. The store was pretty much empty and they had almost everything I wanted except frozen fruit and the ice cream my husband likes, but those two sections have been lacking for a long time. |

The store was pretty much empty and they had almost everything I wanted except frozen fruit and the ice cream my husband likes, but those two sections have been lacking for a long time. judy, she agreed to take in a kitten who was abandoned by its mommy! doordie, even though the fires are not near us in los angeles, we are getting a lot of haze the last few days. i guess the wind is carrying the ash just enough this way. |

Taking 30-40 minutes to just sit out and soak up some vitamin D. I feel so much better!

A friend able to take us in tomorrow night onward. Evacuation warning from Cal Fire just now. Rumor is the order will be given at 4:00 PM. We have a hotel res for tonight & kitty is at boarders. We are packed and ready to go.
Second good thing, they are being extremely agressive with the evacuations and we are all hoping our homes will be spared. No one wants a repeat of the Paradise situation.
