jamescat1 , I think it's Big Sky. I taped it. What did you think? The reviews were not favorable but it's done by David Kelley who did Big Little Lies so I have hope for it. Big Sky

I'm waiting for the season finally of Supernatural tonight and the new Mom.
I set my DVR and was glad I checked. Supernatural is 2 episodes. Or they are playing it back to back, but on my guide, it shows at 8 and then right again at 9

Big Sky I liked it because it was different than other shows I have been watching. I am watching The Crown on Netflix which is serious, Netflix Christmas movies which are predictable, The Good Doctor, This is Us and Real Housewives of Anywhere. It is predictable in the first episode but I see room for growth.

Finished Shitts Creek, good series. I loved Alexis character growth. I feel like the entire show was really about her maturing.
Watched the first episode of The Crown. Very dark start. They did a good job casting Thatcher and Diana.
I haven't watched the final 2 episodes of Supernatural yet. I am dreading it ending lol.

DotRen, I finished the Crown, season 4, yesterday. It's sad they way the Royal Family treated Diana. Yes, she was a spoiled young lady but Charles was absolutely awful and the family deserted her. I hope he never is King.

All I could think of when watching "The Crown" was "hurt people hurt people" - not offering any excuse for Charles but he was treated terribly when he was not allowed to marry the person he wanted to marry. I wonder how long the Monarchy will last. I have a daughter and granddaughter living in England - the royals are either loved or "not" - guess all countries have a lot in common ๐คฃ

I feel bad for Charles. His "father" really did have a favorite with Ann, and he really treated Charles like a dog. No, they treat their dogs better.

"Undoing" on HBO. Limited series, just four episodes. Great cast including Hugh Grant, Nicole Kidman, Donald Sutherland. I might save the last two episodes and watch them together instead of waiting on the edge of my seat for a week! www.hbo.com/the-undoingI also watched "Flesh and Blood" on PBS, not sure how I felt about it. Kinda "meh" at the end but will probably watch the next season. And I have a strange new addiction. "Date My Family" on the Africa Channel. The date-seeker has dinner with three families without the prospective date present and then makes his choice based on the family. Based in South Africa. Subtitles are provided when the participants shift into African dialects but I need closed caption for the rest of it. Something different... mzansimagic.dstv.com/show/date-my-family_s7I'm watching "Undoing" and enjoying it.
I didn't realize there was going to be a second season of "Flesh and Blood".
Also watching, on PBS, "Roadkill" with Hugh Laurie.

Also watching The Undoing and Roadkill. I kind of like that there is only one episode a week so you cannot binge them. I was on the fence with Roadkill but it won me over eventually.

Philipโs comments to Diana in the last episode are very revealing. At 72 I think heโll be passed over in favor of William. Itโs amazing How controlled Elizabeth was from the time she was a little girl until now.

Also watching The Undoing and Roadkill. I kind of like that there is only one episode a week so you cannot binge them. I was on the fence with Roadkill but it won me over eventually. If you are a Harry Potter fan you may have noticed a couple of actresses from those films. The actress playing Dawn, the Prime Minister, played Narcissa Malfoy. And the actress who plays the young Asian woman (whose name I think is Margaret) played Cho Chang.

I realized tonight that "The Undoing" is more than four episodes. Don't know where I got the idea that it was only four. And tonight's episode...wow. Also watching "Murder on Middle Beach." HBO documentary. Amazing, by the son of a woman who was murdered. I have to rewatch last week's Roadkill. It's not holding my interest at all.
