Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my green zone of pts, did my 2 micro habits.
We walked 2.2 mi to get our takeout Sunday breakfast.
I give myself a B in Nutrition, a B in PE, and a B in Health for the day.
AQI this am here in Long Beach is 149 “unhealthy for sensitive groups” here. It was in the 220’s last night, Very Unhealthy.
The fires in our N CA home area have been growing away, N and W of our place, but heavy smoke there, AQI 188 this am, Unhealthy.
My sis is in MS in the path of hurricane Sally. Usually by the time a hurricane gets that far inland to them it’s downgraded but they sometimes get damage and power outage. Tornadoes are a big risk.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

It's Monday, and I'm back!
AMY -- good job with the 2 lb. loss! I also have lost 2 pounds since I last weighed myself, so woo hoo!
KELLY -- hope the job situation works out; I know it must be unsettling!
CAIT -- glad to hear the Northern fire/s are heading away from your place. The smoke and ash is crazy!
Colorado also has had fires, and when we were there, my eyes were really gritty and sore. Often it's the dry air, but this was due to smokey haze. At times, we couldn't even see Pike's Peak!
Cait, we are getting better about charging our car on long trips. In our old gas cars, the trip from Lincoln to Colorado Springs was about 9.5 hours, and this trip we made it in 10 hours each way. Of course, we didn't go inside to eat. How many times did we stop to charge? 5 times on the way out and 4 times on the way back. We could do fewer stops and get more charge each time, but we need to "use the facilities." We eat and/or walk during the charging stops. We have learned not to charge to 100%, which takes a long time, but to just charge enough to get us to the next Supercharger. With our 2018 Model 3, we're usually charged up in 15-20 minutes; it's a lot faster than our 2013 Model S. This is the advantage that Tesla has over other electric cars -- with the network of Superchargers, interstate travel is possible.
This car also has Auto Pilot, which is very nice on road trips, particularly on the interstate system. The driver has to keep hands on the steering wheel, but can gaze around at the scenery without worrying about drifting into another lane or slowing down behind a slow vehicle.
I'm behind in posting because I'm behind in stretching! I'm adding 10 miles since last time I posted, and I stretched today.

Good Morning!!
I had a good day yesterday. I added 2 miles. Well the virtual interview ended up being a phone interview. It went well but I decided no as it would involve going to multiple practices on some weeks. Too much traveling. Good a definite No from God. So it is a no go. My Practice Manager's boss has approved for the position that is open to be offered to a nurse and I will be able to work from home some if I would like. So I think that will be the way to go. I will still have the comradery of close coworkers. I am sure my Team will be disappointed but I was just not getting a good vibe about being at home alone 90% of the time. It is funny that the current office location had the same concern for me.
Cait: Great job on a better day. Prayers for safety for both you and your sister.
Amy: Glad you are back on track.
Carol: Glad you had a nice trip but too bad about the fires messing up the view and air quality.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

AQI this am here in Long Beach is 158 “Unhealthy.” Last night AQI was in the low 200’s, “Very Unhealthy.”
The fires in our N CA home area and AQI “Unhealthy” continue about the same. It’s rugged forest terrain, and very dry. Hard to contain. Same problem with the SoCal fires.
My sis in MS is no longer in the path of Sally. Sis has had some rain, is prepared for more.
So many people to pray for. Virus, fires, hurricanes, refugees, cancer, life problems, and more. Be well my friends.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

It's Tuesday!
KELLY -- sounds as though the decision is a good one for you! It will be nice to be able to work from home as an option and not have so much traveling.
CAIT -- I feel you deserve "A" grades for doing all your healthy habits and micro habits. Yes, so many concerns these days. I spent the morning/lunch with my sister, who doesn't understand the virus, mask-wearing, distancing, and so on. In some ways, it's a nice respite (but of course I wish her mind were able to function normally).
AMY -- GFY getting back on track!
I just finished stretching; 2 days in a row! I once read that if you do something 25 ? days in a row, it will become a habit. Well, I have wanted the habit of stretching for about 40 years now, so maybe this is finally the time! I walked 1.5 miles at my volunteer (garden docent) gig last night, and I walked 2.5 miles this afternoon.

Good Morning!!
I will interview for the the office position today. It will be nice if this is the position for me to have the option to work at home at times but not be stuck there all the time. I love the coworkers and the patients in the office so I am hoping this all works out. Also, hoping there will not be a big delay in getting started as your current manager can hold you up to a month in your current job. I would think since I have not been doing that since the end of March it would be a quick release but we will see.
Cait: We are actually getting haziness and smoke clouds overhead from the fires. Glad you had a good OP day.
Carol: Good job on stretching and continuing to get in those miles.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my green zone of pts, did 1/2 micro habits. I had a weak moment in the evening, had “seconds” of evening snack but kept it to 1 pt, stayed away from the salted snacks, and ate more 0 pts foods.
We walked 2 mi am.
I give myself a B in Nutrition, a B in PE, and a B in Health for the day.
AQI this am here in Long Beach is 157 “Unhealthy.” Last night AQI was in the low 260’s, “Very Unhealthy.” The forest fire causing this is 3% contained.
The 2 forest fires in our N CA home area are 10% and 0 % contained. AQI “Unhealthy”
My back has been hurting for the past week and a half, but I’ve slept on my back the past 3 nights and it’s helping! Yay! I was worried.
Getting quite a bit of work done during the days.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

Good Morning!
Well, the position is basically mine just waiting for her to deal with HR. It was hard during our huddle with the new team yesterday to try and stay focused and not say anything.
I got in 2 more miles. Good OP day.
Cait: Great job on another good day. Glad you are being productive with your work. Hoping the back discomfort goes away. Prayers for safety from the fire and improved air quality.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

It's Thursday!
KELLY -- Congrats on the job! I know it will be a better fit for you! WTG with another OP day, too.
CAIT -- I hope your back issue resolves. Is it connected to your PT somehow? I sure hope your AQI improves soon.
Yesterday I rode my bike (counting 3 miles) and stretched. I walked 2 miles this morning and I just finished stretching.
