Good Morning!!
Thanks Ladies for the support. I can always count on positive feedback from you. Has not been made official yet. I actually had to apply again as they changed the position to internal only so they do not have to keep it open for a period of time.
I added 3 miles yesterday with some stepping in place and then a walk last night. Lost this week despite eating a pizza-burger and fries last night.
Cait: Great job on your OP day. Try some of your exercises it will help.
Carol: You are really rocking the activity. Great job.
Waving to all and sending skinny vibes!!

Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my green zone of pts, HEZ, blue dot, did both micro habits.
Yesterday we walked 2 mi am.
I give myself an A in Nutrition, a B in PE, and a B in Health for the day. I need to move more during the day and do more exercise.
AQI here in Long Beach this am is 87 “Moderate.” Up North it’s 156 “Unhealthy” Both of these are better than previous days in the am, but the fires are far from “done.” One thing keeping the forest fires from spreading is that they move into “burn scars” from the forest fires is the past few years and that slows them down. So many people have lost their homes. In Happy Camp 30 mi W of our N CA place 150 homes were lost this time out of only about 800 in the town. About 480 people are being put up in motels.
Sleeping on my back has not only helped my back pain, but also my R shoulder pain and stiffness from shoulder arthritis and cyst.
I noticed what may be NSV - two shirts that used to stay bunched above my hips now tend to slip down straight over my hips. Maybe signs of progress.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

Yesterday we walked 2 mi am.
This am I walked alone, because DH wanted to sleep in, but I attended the WW zoom meeting while I walked! A first for me 😝. We’re going to a friend’s for a short visit, and then a “drive by” for some other friends who are moving North.
I give myself an A in Nutrition, a B in PE, and a B in Health for yesterday. I still need to take time to do more exercise.
AQI here in Long Beach this am is 89 “Moderate.” We were able to eat breakfast outside yesterday, the first time in a while. But the rest of the day it got increasingly poor AQI up to 260 or so “Very Unhealthy.” The fire down here above Pasadena is now 15% contained.
Up North it’s also “Moderate” AQI 62 this am, and the larger fire is now 25% contained. Most of Happy Camp got electricity back after 9 days without.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

AMY - GFY watching the hunger cues instead of habit-eating and impulse-eating or “see-food, eat food” eating. I find if I have 3 balanced meals I don’t really need snacks. But I have 0 pts or low pts snack at night to keep DH company because he really likes that evening snack.
KELLY - Whoo Hoo re losing despite pizza burger and fries! You must have been moderate with it. HHs make a difference moderating behavior even when we aren’t trying to be perfect.
CAROL - You have a lot of good variety in your exercise program. GFY doing the 25 days to make stretching a new daily habit. I thought you already had that down pat. The WW meetings and weekly topics have focused a lot on building habits. I’m going to start working on doing one small part of my PT each day because I’ve been unwilling because it seems like such a big project to do the whole thing which takes almost an hour. My PT was prescribed mainly to strengthen my legs to avoid knee pain and deterioration but there’s a lot of it that helps flexibility and an strength.

Saturday!
I didn't post yesterday because...I didn't stretch. Guess I'll start the 25-days again today. My practical goal for this challenge is to stretch 1/2 days of the month, but I sometimes go several days without stretching. My ideal goal would be to stretch every day, but I struggle with that.
CAIT -- good multitasking (walk & zoom), but don't do what I did: get distracted and sprain your ankle! I remember your PT takes a long time, so breaking it into smaller chunks is a good idea.
AMY -- that's a good idea to eat when you're hungry! I hope you can keep it up!
KELLY -- GFY with the loss and the steps/walk. I am enjoying my walks & bike rides again now that the weather is cooler.
I walked a little over 2 miles both yesterday and today, and I just finished stretching.

Good Morning Dimers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my green zone of pts, HEZ, blue dot, did both micro habits “no seconds with evening snack” and “50 pushaways after dinner.”
Yesterday I walked 2 mi am while attending my WW zoom meeting.
We visited friends for the husband’s 80th Bday, sat outside in their yard. Then went by other friends’ “drive by” because they are moving North. We got out of the car and hung out for a while. We saw lots of folks there we haven’t seen in ages, everyone in masks and distancing. It was nice. These are all in the town where we used to live before we moved North. I lived there 24 yrs.
We got takeout lunch from DHs fave restaurant, deep dish pizza for him and soup and salad for me.
I did 20 mins of floor PT, Yay! It was a little hard, but I’m not sore. The WW topics lately about small changes inspired me. I’m also planning to do a video exercise session at least once this week.
I give myself an A in Nutrition, an A in PE, and an A in Health for yesterday.
AQI here in Long Beach this am is 64 “Moderate.” By afternoon and evening yesterday AQI up in 200’s, “Very Unhealthy.” The fire down here above Pasadena is still 15% contained, but it was more active because of wind.
Up North AQI is 30 “Good” this am. The larger fire is now 18% contained. The smaller fire is 7% contained.
CAROL - Yeah, I totally didn’t think about the multitasking danger of Zooming while walking, dodging people, drinking coffee, and putting my mask on and off! Oops. It was 7 am so not as many people as usual out there, and there aren’t many usually anyway. I keep the mask on my ear so I just stretch it across when I see someone. GFY with the walk & stretching. Stretching 1/2 of the days sounds like a good goal.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

Happy Monday!
AMY -- the mail is crazy here, too! A letter goes Lincoln -- Omaha -- back to Lincoln! I will just drop my ballot in the Election Commissioner's dropbox at his office. WTG getting back on the recumbent bike!
CAIT -- WTG with the PT, even if it was hard! Sounds like a fun day with friends. We had friends over Saturday evening after dinner to safely visit on our patio. It was mostly nice to see them, but we are polar opposites politically, so there were some uncomfortable moments.
KELLY -- glad you can walk outside some. Be careful! I know you enjoyed your DOR.
I walked 2+ miles yesterday and 2+ miles today. I'm going to my volunteer gig this evening, so I'm going to add 5 miles total. I just finished stretching, too.

Good Afternoon Challengers!
Yesterday I did 3/6 of my main HHs, went above my red zone of pts, did 1/2 micro habits “50 pushaways after dinner.” I ate DHs snack, but at least I stopped and didn’t go on eating and did JGTB. I was taken by surprise that he wanted to stay up later and I just gave up on my plan.
Yesterday we walked 2.4 mi am to get takeout breakfast. We got in a little extra on miles, went around the block to avoid a congested sidewalk restaurant seating area.
I did 23 mins of floor PT, now feeling some muscle soreness which is good, I know it’s working.
I give myself a D in Nutrition, an A in PE, and a C in Health for yesterday.
AQI here in Long Beach this am was “Moderate.” Now AQI up in 140’s, “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.” We’ve been able to eat breakfast on the deck the past few days but staying in the rest of the day and evening. The fire here in the forest above Pasadena is 15% contained.
Up North AQI is 45 “Good” this afternoon. The two fires in that area are 22% contained.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!
