My wife and I just joined WW this past week, blue plan. I have lost nearly 5lbs and her not quite so much. We are excited and want to succeed. I have given up snacks like chips and cookies, etc. Her challenge is after I go to bed. She usually has a fudge sickle or other sweets but she has only had one fudgie this week. We’ve been nibbling on carrots or apples or celery, etc during the day. She is constantly looking for zero point stuff Thinking that the fewer points the faster the weight loss. Which is ok, I guess but I don’t think that’s the intent of the program. “How do you want your chicken today”, lol. We have to find a balance and don’t want to get discouraged. We are seniors, don’t know if that makes it harder or easier? Another challenge is that many recipes call for ingredients that we don’t have and have never used, so Cooking is a bit different. Looking forward to more pounds coming off.

Hi chacam! Welcome to the boards. I hope your wife has found the sugar-free 1 point fudgesicles, they are really good 😊 You can always tweak the recipes that have unusual ingredients using stuff you have on hand. Balance is really important on this journey, so many people end up getting discouraged and they give up instead of digging their heels in. Hoping to see you and your wife around the boards, accountability is so important! Feel free to say hi over on the general boards 😊
