Happy Monday, I hope everyone had a great weekend. This was body pump and then shopping for friends birthday present. Did some garment measurements for fit and trying to talk myself into Blogilates abs.

Good morning.
Virginia - do they envision permanent WFH for all or just a reimagining of the workplace where some functions are remote and some use less office space in the future?
Our place now is far too small for both of us to WFH for more than a couple of days.
We went to Fredericksburg on Saturday and I have a feeling that if/when we get COVID-19 licked, it will become a regular day trip for us. She was entirely creeped out though by the stupid high rate of non-compliance with mask mandates, so it'll be a while.
We went and checked out a large development on the East side of town yesterday and there was a farmers market going on. Night and day between Austin and the Hill Country. Nearly everyone had the mask thing going.

Hello,
Thanks for starting us, Debbie. The pics from the clothing exhibit that you posted on FB were great. I loved the white dress with dark blue flowers...beautiful! I have been doing some birthday shopping, too. DGD #1 turns 5 later this month.
Lou, our WFH is permanent for most. There are three workgroups that were housed in our building that will have space elsewhere (haven't heard details as yet), but our building is leased and the lease will be terminated. Probably 75% or so of the people who worked in the building will remain 100% remote. I'm fortunate in that there is space in our house for me to WFH with no issue. I understand Cecilia being creeped out by the non-maskers. It doesn't bother me when it's outdoors and if everyone is distanced. But indoors it gives me the heebie-jeebies and I steer as clear as I can.
Brenda, thanks! I am glad I got my walk in yesterday morning. I hope you were able to finish the yard work. The heat and humidity have returned here today, so tomorrow evening's walk with the HM training group will be pretty steamy.
Waving hi to Vicki and Lori, I hope all is well with you and yours.
We Facetimed with the DGDs a bit ago. They went back to preschool a couple of weeks ago. Both of them had to stay home part of last week because DGD #2 got a cold and then of course DGD #1 got it from her. It was a common cold and they're both fine now. I'll be back to work tomorrow. I'm glad to have had the three day weekend, especially since I didn't feel so great on Saturday. I went to the grocery today and to my favorite Starbucks. I saw two of my favorite baristas. I do miss that part of my morning routine, both my drink and the camaraderie with the Starbucks crew. I am still using the mobile ordering feature from the app and picking up my drink via the drive through.
Back to work tomorrow.
Take care, Ginia

Good morning
Lou, sounds like you and Cecilia are discovering the area. I don't blame Cecilia for being nervous about people not wearing masks.
Debbie,
Virginia, hope you have a good work day. I think the humidity is coming back here too. You are so good about your walking.
Waving to Vicki and Lori
I have jazzercise at 9:30 this morning. Time to get back to it. The basement and sister visit had me off track with that.

Good morning.
I'd hate to be a commercial real estate broker right now, Virginia. Our staff keeps agitating for more WFH opportunities, but our conservative leadership won't abide it. I prefer the office as it's a much better setup for me to get things done with the little space we have here.
Speaking of... Back at our again today. Four meetings in a two hour window this morning.

Not to her level, but that was a lot of people.

Happy Tuesday, Brenda - I hope Jazzercise was great. The visit with your sister sounds wonderful. Louis - exploring a new city is so much fun, I’m glad you are finding cities you like. I wish people in the US would wear masks. Virginia - I am so glad companies are finally realizing that people are honest and work hard from home.
This morning a group of friends spent the morning at the zoo celebrating one of our birthdays. Tonight we’re having dinner together. My weight has gone up even more, I need a intervention. Debbie

Good morning.
Cecilia tells me I have no butt. Would the class help me grow one? 😂

Happy Wednesday, Brenda - why is your energy level down? The zoo is really beautiful, very natural setting for all the animals, water feature in each area, and lots of babies have been born while we were on lockdown. Even a baby hippopotamus. It is a lovely place to have a coffee and enjoy walking around. Dinner was healthy expect for the chocolate cake and delicious. Louis -You just have to live with what nature gave you but Blogilates has many great booty workout that will make it the best it can be.
Today started with body pump and yoga then a short walk. Then I went to DF house to see if we can figure out a holiday together. We had planned on going to Paris but France isn’t doing well as far as Covid goes. So we were checking out other options I hope everyone is doing well. Debbie

Good morning.
There are no ugly baby animals, so that must have been fun, Debbie!
We passed the exit for the zoo here when we went to Fredericksburg last week. If it stops raining, maybe I'll take her there this weekend.

Good morning
Lou, yes the class will help your butt.....lol
Debbie, the zoo sounds really nice. I think all the stress lately has made me tired.
Waving to all.
Yesterday's class was much better. Today I will get my flu shot. Not much else on tap.

Happy Thursday, Louis - yes you should it was a wonderful morning. Please send the rain to California and Colorado. Brenda - I hope the flu shot doesn’t make you feel bad. Might be time to downsize and leave house stress behind.
This morning was beach morning. We walked so far on the beach, so nice. It is still warm here. I did yoga after lunch. The one kilo that jumped my two days ago is gone but that still leaves 2 extra kilos I’m carrying. Exercise is done and eating is clean. Debbie

Good morning - Remembering 9/11 with a heavy heart this morning
Debbie, walking on the beach is such a great exercise. I am seriously thinking of downsizing. My sister and brother (with their spouses) live in Delaware. She lives about 10 minutes or less from the beach (Bethany). It's a hard decision for a couple reasons, but it's hard being here alone. I think Covid has made it harder. I don't mind living alone, but no family close by as I get older makes me think.
Waving to all
