Thursday I shall have a day just like today without the shopping. Happy that we are all set for awhile. Still too hot to switch over closets, although I have taken out some of the real summery items and I shall wash those tomorrow and get ready to pack them away. Other than that? KOKO and PTMH.
Thanks for the start, June.
Sweet dreams and prayers continue.

Thursday's goals Enjoy another morning walk. As I shared on yesterday's thread, walking at least 6000 steps in the morning is an emotional lift. That's a priority for tomorrow. Have cooked chicken in broth thawed. It wil become. . . to be determined.

June that is a GREAT priority. I admire your devotion to getting in your steps. I'm sure whatever you dream up for the chicken will be both tasty and healthy.

I'm sorry I never got back for personals yesterday. It was a busy day.
I will PTMH and KOKO. If it isn't raining in the morning we will go to a friends funeral. We were going to go the visitation this morning but the bottom fell out of sky just as we were going to leave. It only lasted awhile but long enough to keep us from going.
June You are doing so good getting in your steps. Some mornings I can get in 5000 steps but never 6000 steps. On top of your classes that is great.
Ann How is the hornet sting? We may get down in the low to mid 60's tomorrow if our front comes through.
Audrey I don't blame you for not staying to socialize.
Bee I hope you had fun with the girls.
LaDonna We haven't gotten much rain but it is 75 at 7:00 which is unusual in itself. We have smaller chances of rain the next few days.It won't last long probably but I will take what I can get.I hope you had a good day.
MJ Continued prayers for you and Toots in the ongoing Russ situation.Wow on the EQ.
Susi I'm glad you heard from the shelter.I hope Lily will be okay.

Ann Glad the ham didn't do any damage on the scale.
June It's cool up in the Panhandle and West Texas today already. It will be cooler in the Hill Country in the morning.I just hope it makes it this far.
Audrey I can't imagine what Diane is going through not knowing if her house is still standing.I'm surprised CVS would charge for a flu shot especially when you are on Medicare. We won't go to our CVS.They have not been good since they moved to Elgin. I use HEB's pharmacy. So nice of you to drop off things for the firemen.
Susi I hope Lily doesn't have heartworms. If so I know they can be treated. We did lose a dog to them years ago because our vet didn't test for them and we didn't know anything about them.
MJ So sad about Russ.He will not change unless he wants to unfortunately and I know both of you know that.
Pam Hopefully you can get out tomorrow for your haircuts.

I will PTMH. I begin each day with a walk that gives me 20 minutes of exercise on my Apple Watch. It’s all I have time for before I shower and get breakfast ready. No outdoor walking after that. It isn’t as hot but the air makes my eyes burn. If I do go out it will be to deliver more handbooks in my zip code but I’ll be driving for that. The cleaning people are coming this morning. I’ll throw in a load of laundry and do more drawer organizing. Dinner is chicken cilantro sausage with the other half of the eggplant casserole and salad. My reading, Nintendo Switch and tv keep me happy. I am rewatching the crown because it is so good.

Good morning
Becky I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that the weather does not keep you from attending your friend's funeral.
Glad though your area has some rain and cooler temperatures. When I read Hill Country, all I could think of was LBJ tearing down the back roads at 90 mph.
It just feels good to shift gears when I walk. It's relaxing for me.
Audrey I can not imagine what you all are experiencing. Glad that you are being careful about the air quality. It is heart wrenching.
Waving "hi" to everyone. Will check back later if I can.

Good morning, June - Ann - Becky - Audrey - Bee - Cathy - LaDonna - Susi - Pam - and AWF!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Prayers are going up for those in the path of fire and storm(s).
And a few extra for all the students headed back to their classrooms... whether IRL, virtual, or hybrid... for many reasons. Our great-nephew's school district has already shifted from hybrid to virtual for the next two weeks, with a positive Covid test newly identified.
💞🐵🙈🐵🙉🐵🙊🐵💞
The Kressling's YM drill last night went well. They had a basic First Aid training; earning the First Aid ribbon is necessary for most of them for their next rank promotion (the Kressling earned his back in 2019 but the newest recruit class all needed it). We also had a parents meeting that, among other things, introduced the Fall fund-raiser: Gertrude Hawk candy bars and Country Meat sticks. There was a decent commitment from the parents in attendance and we will reach out to those whose young people did not attend so that they, too, can participate. Fortunately, the dismissal time was adjusted to be 8 PM and not the midnight that was originally planned.
We are heading to Cedar Crest to meet with the removal company at 9 AM. We will load up GracieTOO one last time. While JunkLuggers will recycle a few pieces of salvageable furniture, the rest (and all the model train layout debris) is trash. Then we meet with the removal rep from CC at noon, to sign off on the independent living apartment. That will bring Phase THREE of the Oh, BROTHER! Project to its conclusion. Phase FOUR, the ongoing management of DBigBro's finances, is already underway and will continue.
Gray morning; matches my feelings.
Coffee... ☕☕☕... headache tabs...
🌻🍁🍂🍁🌻🍁🍂🍁🌻🍁🍂🍁🌻🍁🍂🍁🌻 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌻🍁🍂🍁🌻🍁🍂🍁🌻🍁🍂🍁🌻🍁🍂🍁🌻

Good morning all. Another great night of sleeping and waking up refreshed. I'm blessed June I would put R in charge. That meal sounds wonderful. Enjoy it and enjoy cruising in your blue dot lined lane. Becky (((hugs))) I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. It's hard not being able to attend a service but I don't blame you for not wanting to travel in heavy rain. The hornet sting is gone, thanks for asking. At times I get a little 'reminder' but nothing that I can't deal with. I was VERY lucky to not have had a reaction. MJ praying that the trip to CC goes smoothly for you and Toots. Nice that P3 is done and that you are already into P4. We also have an overcast sky. Bee sounds like a nice day with you and the girls. Enjoy your visit with Cissy and the movies. Audrey, you are wise to NOT walk outdoors with the air quality the way it is. Your meal sounds tasty. Will CBL...waving............

Midnight is awfully late for a school night Bee - Enjoy the time with Cissy. I'm in, planned and tracked. I couldn't get the cable as low as I hoped but at least I'll be saving $60 per month.

I woke up to 57 wonderful degrees. Too bad the front will be short lived but I will take it and the high of 72 they are predicting.
