This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome!

Hello everyone.
Just a quick pop in to get us started. My back is some better today, but I'm still babying it. Sitting still no longer hurts like it did yesterday, so that's good. But when I'm moving around it's definitely sore, so I'm trying to be mindful to move slowly and not do any sudden twists, jerks or stretches. Hopefully by tomorrow it will be back to normal.
I did hop up early this morning (well, I didn't actually "hop") and make a quick run to my local grocery. I needed to pick up some mushrooms, jalapenos and mozzarella, because tonight is pizza night. No plans for the weekend, currently they're calling for rain Sat, Sun, Mon and Tue, so IDK if we'll have an opportunity to spend some time out in nature, even if my back feels up to it.

Happy Friday!!!! Lora, glad your back is a touch better. Maybe even now it's better than this morning. Today was kind of normal for a school day. That felt great. PT was also good this eve... So I guess I am in a good mood. YEa! Usually I am ready to drop on a Friday. Waving hi to all!

Hello everyone, Oh Lora, I hate to hear about your back giving you fits! I can sure relate, but I'm glad it is feeling a little better. Are you icing or heating? You really do need to baby it for a day or two, because the sore muscles left after that tightness, are for real! Good for you, for being pro-active and leaving those tongs for a time of need! I've been spending my stay-cation spending varying amounts of time being productive and then, non-productive. I have enjoyed just puttering around doing little odd jobs around (like the mending of clothes that sat by my machine for months), and doing things outside. Today I did get my oil change done and picked up the couple of pool chems that I'll need for closing it, and I traded out that bad converter box. I have my TV back in the loft upstairs, so that is good, and it has been working fine. Nothing else planned for today...I'm going to get something for dinner, and get to bed early. I am SO enjoying my sleep for these past couple of days, I guess knowing that I was going to be home for a few more days. I hope everyone else gets a good night's sleep tonight! We all seem to have troubles with this from time to time... I will be back tomorrow. Take care everyone, and have a good weekend. RobinMD

Hi Everyone...long day: got to exercise class, then an outside game of Hand & Foot, then spent the afternoon waiting for DH at the opthalmologist (he will be having cataract surgery Oct 13 and 27), then hurrying to run errands for a neighborhood "coffee" that I am co-chair of tomorrow morning (VERY low-key; everyone will bring his/her own coffee and they can sit inside or outside around the pool). This will be the first modified coffee we have tried since everything shut down 6 months ago. Hope all goes well.
Lora - glad your back if feeling a little better (probably VERY little)...take care
Jill - yippee for a somewhat "normal" day and a good PT session
RobinMD - glad you have some time for puttering and getting caught up on some things around the house
OK... I am off to FINALLY check all the email from today and get ready for bed.
