I will PTMH and KOKO. I will continue my movement inside the house as my knee allows.I will continue in my blue dot lane on the green plan.
We do need to make a quick trip to Walmart.I don't like going on Saturdays but somethings are cheaper over there and I'm not willing to pay the price difference when needing more than one item.
Sleep well peeps.

I will PTMH too. Today is our grocery shopping at Trader Joeβs and The Market. Dinners for next week are panko crusted chicken breast, turkey vegetable rice soup, Costco stuffed peppers ( 3 halves are in the freezer) and some type of pasta. Weβre having steak tonight and halibut tomorrow. A week from today I am getting take out from the annual Greek Fest. A dinner plate includes Athenian lemon chicken, rice pilaf, vegetables. Greek salad and a piece of honey walnut cake. The food is always delicious. I know I need to do one load of laundry and I may watch some of the Clemson football game. Becky, I know what you mean about better prices at Walmart. I know Iβll be there before I do any baking. June, how was your week? Fresno State announced theyβre going to continue virtual learning during the spring semester. Susi, any word on Lily? Happy weekend to all!

I will: track on ITB, have fruit or veg at every meal, hydrate, walk at least 20 minutes (need to get back into walking now that showers are easier to make happen)
Yesterday the highlight was the return, one by one, of phone, internet then water. I had a shower without a bucket in the shower with me to catch runoff and did dishes without a bucket in the sink to catch the rinse water. Hoping to do some laundry in the week ahead, too.
Lunch will probably be hummus with chopped tomatoes, green pepper and onion that will be eaten with Lebanese flat bread or I might have it with brown and wild rice instead of the bread. We will see. Tomorrow will probably be tabouleh and leftover hummus or maybe mjudra and cabbage salad.
It is NICE to be back and able to "chat" again with all of you! It is a warm feeling to have been missed
MJ: It is nice to know that some of the stuff at Russ's house has found a new place to reside and help others. How nice that some of the computers are being used by your grandchildren to learn with.
ANN: My coffee this morning was instant stirred into cold milk with tsp sugar and some ice cubes...an iced latte seemed just what I needed instead of hot coffee. We haven't been out to eat or done pick-up/takeout since the pandemic began...not sure when we will go out again. Hope your tummy is better soon. Someone on another group mentioned a tummy bug going around BUT no idea if you have one going around where you live, too.
BEE: When do you think you will be seeing the oncologist? Hope you have more energy this weekend to enjoy a visit with Cissy. The magnolia bloom is gorgeous!
SUSI: Your time with Carol sounds splendid! How wonderful to have traditions that include walks at the end of the season and beverage at the end of the walk! Hope you hear good news about Lily!
LADONNA: How wonderful to have Saturday for yourself! Did you and your mother decide to spend time together?
AUDREY: How is the air quality where you are? My sister says it is BAD in Chico. Hope Rob and his wife enjoyed their anniversary. I hope Diane hears soon about her house. Sorry to hear one of your friends lost a family home with so many memories. My sister said her friends that chose to stay in Paradise after the Camp Fire have mixed feelings. It is home but not the home they used to have. The trees are gone, it is much hotter and it is much more remote with travel necessary to bring in what they need. I am sure more people who have homes standing or gone will be facing huge changes and choices. I envy your meal plan prepared and ready to go!
BECKY: Did the PT doing the assessment have any ideas about your situation or what might help?
JUNE: Are you ahead in your lecture recording? How are the students doing so far?
PAM: Am sure you reached the blue and tracked another perfect day.

Good morning
Becky Certainly do understand not wanting to pay the price difference when buying multiples. With luck, your WM trip will not be too bad. Did the moist heat help any? Mom used to like that on her shoulder when doing PT.
Audrey Your menu sounds delicious. Thx for sharing. Seeing the TV footage on the wildfires is absolutely horrifying.
Cathy So happy that you have all your services restored. I can not help but think that we in the States need to better appreciate what we have.
I am doing well enough in the courses but it is a lot of work. The first time teaching a course is like that. I tried recording and it was too distracting for me. I may, however, try reading a short bit on about the Ming dynasty or the difference b/w craft & industrial systems of production.

Good morning all. Wonderful sleep once again. Loving waking up to cooler temps. Right now it's 46!
Cathy so happy that you are back up and running. Especially with water. So many things we take for granted. Not sure if it was a tummy bug or not. It responded well to the ginger ale and a few crackers. Enjoy your day.
Audrey your meals as always sound delish. The annual Greek Fest sounds great. I remember those from years ago when we lived in Worcester. Always a fun event to attend.
Becky also a fan of the better prices at Walmart. Hope it's not too crowded.
June how are you doing?
Today I shall PTMH and KOKO. Nothing really on the agenda so I'll just play it by ear. Hopefully someone will want to get together to 'social distance'
Waving.....

Saturday goals
Give myself a pat on the back for making it work. Am walking at the track this morning.
Reading "You Can Go Home Now" by Michael Ellis. Will have to check the book cover, but it seems like this story was written by a cop. Interesting characters.
Oh, I never did tell you the mystery chicken dinner became Richard's choice. He cooked the breast in the crock pot, made a small amt of m potatoes & 1/2 bag of Stove Top stuffing, gravy, green beans, corn on the cob' and sliced garden tomatoes. There was enough for leftovers!

June R did great with the chicken. Nice that there are enough leftovers to enjoy. Just jotted down the title of that book. Great goals and yes you do deserve a huge pat on the back Thanks, when I spoke with Jean yesterday, she was still on the fence. I hope it's a go as there won't be too many nights that we can get together outdoors.

Good morning all. It's a cool, breezy morning. Perhaps a tad too cool for the beach but we have a couple of hours to decide. June - It has to be quite a learning curve for you and your students. Yum on dinner and leftovers Becky - We don't have a super Walmart so I have Shoprite, Stop & Shop, Acme, Aldi's and BJ's to choose from, plus several farmer's markets. NJ is called the Garden State for good reason Audrey - Lots of good plans in place. Sadly the Greek festival here was cancelled this year. I looked forward to the wonderful food. Cathy - So glad you have so many service back. Ann - Glad you slept well and hope you can meet up with friends. The sun was playing peekaboo when I went to feed the ferals and it very breezy. Pool is definitely on it's last legs but will hold up for perhaps a week or two which is all I need. I'm about to sign in to my zoom workshop. When I went to WI on Wednesday, I brought my coach 2 purple peppers, 2 ivory peppers and 2 jalapenos. I'll be interested to see what she thought of them.

Good morning, June - Becky - Audrey - Cathy- Ann - Susi - Bee - LaDonna - Pam - and AWF!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Extra prayers for any in the path of fire and storm(s)... and for all the students headed back to their classrooms... whether IRL, virtual, or hybrid...

Last evening's 9/11 ceremony, at which the Young Marines color guard and their sponsoring American Legion Post #471 "presented the colors", was moving and memorable. The Township moved it from Town Hall to the summer stage behind Woodbridge High School so that proper social distancing could be maintained. And our YM unit had a solid representation of its members.
The Kressling's asleep in the guest room; he has a YM PT session at 10 AM and then soccer goalie training at 1 PM.
The rest of our day? Not sure. And that's a good feeling.
Coffee... βββ...

WARNING: Blabberpost!
I had included this in my message above, but I've decided to put it in its own place.
Yesterday as a whole was peaceful. In the morning, Toots & I sent Russ an e-mail letting him know that 411GC is now part of his past. We didn't send it the night before, so that he would not get it and think about it while alone all night - so that it was daytime with people around. I started a Word file of all the e-mails we've sent Russ since he moved on 8/21, and his responses. Family's planning to send them to his care team so they can see his level of interaction with family. He avoids interaction at AL and does not leave his room. It's no better in the e-mail world; he sends one- or two-word responses, sometimes only after being asked the same thing multiple times. Sometimes he doesn't respond at all.
Then the mail came, and with it the Bank of America credit card bill. π²π°$621.71π°π². That seemed a bit excessive for a one-month bill. Especially since $601.06 of it is for liquor, with five purchases from 8/21 to 9/4 (he moved in on 8/20). And since, as I mentioned, he's not going out of his room, this is one heck of a "kegger" he's having, 24/7.
We really want the care team's input on how we can address this with Russ, so that the ENTIRE support system is "on the same page". Our immediate reaction is to cancel the card, but he'll get a new one via the internet (he already did that in I-L, but Toots found and confiscated it), and AL won't prevent him from getting that FedEx, just as they won't block the liquor deliveries. We can cut the credit limit on the card, for sure. We can send him a "family" e-mail expressing our shock and concern at what he's doing.
But all these people with all these "letters after their names" (the LCSW and nursing bunch) thought that THEY had all the answers for dealing with someone like Russ, and we'd like to hear how well that's working for them. Of course, it's now the weekend and the main characters are off. <meh>.
And there's still that codicil to his will to get signed. Even though we could do without it for the bequests, DBabySis would still like to have Toots replace DBigSis as "successory executor" - basically so SHE can walk away and Toots will have to take care of the whole thing.
BTW - DBigSis seems to be in her own La-La-Land, with no great desire to get involved with any of the RussStuff. She recently sent him an e-mail to which he has not responded, but that's about it - no mention of wanting to go up to visit him or anything. And Toots says that when he talked to her a couple of days ago she steered far away from anything about Russ & CC (not even just "stuff" and not The Bad Stuff).
So... Toots & DBabySis & I know that we can't "fix" Russ. We've done our best; God will handle the rest. And I will make Phase FOUR as simple as possible.

Susi how wonderful to share your produce with your coach. I'm sure she loved all that you brought her. It's cool here as well and I'm loving it Hope it warms up so you can enjoy the beach. LOL to NJ being the 'garden state' MJ I bet that was a wonderful tribute and ceremony that you attended. You are so right...it truly is in God's hands. You've all done over and above. Time for coffee!

Drinking coffee then I'll take a walk. Mom and I are going to lunch together at a seafood restaurant. I'll make good choices but most importantly enjoy the time with my mom. I've got church clerical to do later and house chores. Becky, I hope you will be able to get your PT worked out and that it will be just what is needed to complete your next phase of healing. Love how determined you are to see your exercising and all thru. I bargain shop too. Audrey, so smart of you to do the meal planning..all sounds fabulous. Not sure I'll watch the game but folks around my area sure are looking forward to it. Cathy, it is so glad to hear all is well with you..sounds like your plan to be oP is still in place. Very admirable during the difficulties you have been enduring. June, also giving you a well deserved pat and Richard too! he did great with the chicken meal! I hope the track walking will provide you with some morning pleasures. Ann, wow on the 46! I hope you can get together with your friends..sounds like you all had so much fun a couple weeks ago, talking dancing, etc. And being safe Susi, I know you are glad to be getting some cooler weather but still hope the beach trip can happen. Nice of you to gift your leader with the peppers. MJ, yay to a laid back day! Dayum on the spirits bill! Seems like the only solution at this point is a miracle. Sorry the other sis is not as supportive. One day at a time...

Ahhhhh.... back from my morning walk that did not end up at the track. Decided that I could spend the short drive time walking instead. Was a great call. I much enjoyed my walk. The air was crisp, crickets were chirping, and traffic was light. Very happy!
Ann Thanks for the "atta girl!" The support and friendship here truly does help me. Girl, I hop ethat you can get your dancing shoes on. If Jean is not open, what about Bonnie?
Any news about Donna's daughter?
Mj Wonderful to read about YM, Kressling, and a laid back day. You deserve to feel proud of your DGS & the other YMs. Goodness. . . linger over that coffee and see what birdies are outside your window. Ebjoy a more typical Toots & Diva day.
That is a shocking amt. of liquor. Yikes! Sigh. . . I know all too well about a family situation in which sibs are moreeeee than happy to let you & another sib do the heavy lifting.
What role will Russ' Doctor play?
Sending hugs & prayers.
Susi Hope that you get a warm up before beachtime! Ooooo. . . I do not even like peppers but I can just see how beautiful they look.
LaDOnna Enjoy your lunch w/ you rmom. So happy that you can be together. My mom's NH is under quartile b/c 2 staff members tested positive. I had had a Fri. Morning visit planned. But that was a no go! On TH I decided that I would take advantage of the fact that she no woman has a ground floor window & a telephone. We had such a nice visit. We laughed. We talked. Best visit that I have had with her since the precautionary measure. What a blessing.
Waving to our Bee & Pam. Sending positive ebepenrgy and prayers for a good day in all ways.
