Monday:
Accomplishments: - Clair to vet for her Rehab appointment and Drumroll XXXXX They took some measurements and she is now 100% perfect. Her muscle mass on both sides of her shoulders etc are the same on and on. This is great news. Now we just need to make sure she doesn't slip back. She was going to physical therapy twice a month so now I will schedule it for every three weeks. This has been a long standing problem so I am thrilled she is 100% healed. - Went to the dog food store, more grocery shopping. Now I am caught up. - Came home and put the stuff away - Had to work on office emails etc for the rest of the afternoon - Got the harnesses for Clair and Buttercup adjusted and on them. Clair wears bright pink and Butter cup wears a lovely spring green (without the yellow tint). I kept the old ones so I can use them for measuring. There is no way they can get washed and come clean so I just buy new ones. - Washed four of my sweaters I wear for working around the house and outside. Just need to press them now. - Played Cars, Ball, went outside and supervised Fun Night.
Z, It's great that you are holding steady with your streaks. I think it is harder to stay the same than it is to lose. So congrats! on doing that. I was so used to either overeating or undereating as a way of life. One time I decided to just stay the same for three months. That was such an eye opener because I had lost touch with acting like a normal person. That was the turning point in my eating behavior.
Time for Yoga.

Good Morning,
Glad to hear that Clair is healing well, or IS healed! Yay!
Mini Goal: It is approximately 7 weeks to my birthday. I am wondering if I can make my goal weight by my birthday? It would be only slighly aggressive, not crazily, and I'm thinking that I need to refuel focus and resolve a bit by thinking about this as a goal. Although I've been maintaining my loss to date, it does need to continue. Also as far as the eating plan goes, I think if I actually resolved to hit my recommended MAcros daily, or at least 5 days week, it might go even faster. I'm wondering why I do not want to commit to this. For now I'd say I'm calorie/Macros "aware" rather than strictly counting. Think, think, think....lol
Craft: -I got three more (sets of 4) of the wood cut ornaments cut, base coated, design painted, for the pink/green vintage sparkle, plus three extra individual I will either keep or gift that were miscut, but went ahead and decorated them. THe iridescent glitter tends toward pink/green but sort of takes on color of what it's on. The iridescent (finally looked up how to spell this word!)twine, same thing. However the twine is like embroidery thread and want to unravel severely so I did have t had to hot glue the ends to stop this from happening once they were attached to the ornaments. They are super cute, even cuter with the twine! A friend wanted 4 of these after seeing to donate to sponsors for her charity run, so I'm donating those, need to get them done. Next I will complete the sets of red, and a set of those need to personalized and dropped off at our pediatrician office as they are retiring closing. I wanted to give the Dr., head nurse, and two other staff members ornament that's personalized/thank you and a card. So I need to get the reds, or at least the ones I'm going to give, done today. WHen I get the reds done, coatings, twine hangers to all. I will post them for sale. I'm thinking I'm going to mix the pink and green together so you will have 2 of each color in a set. The reasoning for this is that personally I think the green are the cutest and I want to avoid getting stuck with all of one color leftove, probably the pink, that people don't want. So if they like a shape, or a color, they will have purchase the set, or possibly two, to get them. Maybe this is not good marketing strategy.
12 Days: I did retrace the drum correctly but have not colored it in yet, and I have the rest to color in as well on these. I did do the 5 Golden Rings, this one is probably my leas favorite design. But it's done.
More later,
Z.

Tuesday: Accomplished: I raked the area on the right side of the house to get rid to the large pine needles. Also cut some branches for easier access to underneath several trees. Fortunately the old hole is very close to this so I was able to just drag the bags and dump them. This is a current EMP project so I am glad to get it done.
Talked to DH about the wooden fence and what I am going to do about it. The literature says there have to be 5 foot breaks in it so a fire cannot jump from one section to another but there are many problems with the whole thing none of which DH wants to think about or acknowledge. Trees overhang it which would catch fire and then the heat/embers from those burning trees would set the house on fire since they are close to the house. All of this is just a lot to deal with but I will deal with it. I mean business. I personally would rather not put up with the complexities of a burned down house especially since it would be all mine to deal with--just like the yard is now, all 11 acres of it. Except for mowing the grass.......
Such a lovely day today. It's the first day in many weeks that the sky was clear so that the sun shined brightly. The fire close to us is 74% contained which is wonderful. I am trying to take advantage of any day like this since the smoke will be back or so the meterologist for this fire says.
Did my office job. Got the emails organized. And got the UPS put away.
Z, Your idea for the retiring office is so thoughtful! You are doing fantastic with your streaks!!!!
Onward to play every single game Buttercup wants to play LOL >>>>>>

Wednesday: Accomplishments: I got the LR, DR and FR windows washed, the screens cleaned and the tracks done. Also cleaned baseboards etc in the areas of these windows. Dusted and cleaned in these rooms. Touched up painted by the door to the garage. It looks so much better! Started a pine tree watering cycle and will do the hand watering tomorrow. It is cooler now and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the trees I am managing are very well hydrated. Took all items out of my yard work carry all. This is a great plastic thing like a wheel barrow but with four wheels that I have used for years. Cleaned it up so that I could duct tape again the places where it is ripped. Got that done and then put the following items back in: 3 rakes a back scratcher - used for getting into certain places to debris One large dustpan used to gather up all kinds of stuff off the gorund 6 large plastic bags Some rope More rope Green garden wire - but not the thin stuff Another pair of gloves used when I need to get my gloves wet. My work gloves are deer hide so getting them wet is not a good idea. One baseball cap used when I stop work and take the dogs for a run using the quad Miscellaneous items such as chap stick Roll of pink marker tape Box of kleenex Plyers 3 different wire cutter tools Staple gun and staples Ryobi cordless clippers Another pair of Ryobi cordless clippers - my back up pair A little hand saw A new little hand saw A great little hand rake -- very handy for dealing with the remains of pne needle piles etc A pair of scissors One Hammer One mallet One great thing---It is a padded little bathroom floor mat that I double in half and throw down for knee protection--color turqoise Last item is in the freezer --- my little cooler that I put my Kombuchas in. All of these items are organized perfectly.
Hope you are having a wonderful day!!!!

Thursday:
Accomplisments:
The quad repairman got my quad in great shape. He wasn't sure he could fix my gear shifting problem but he got that take care of as well. He worked on DH's and once he gets a new battery that one will be running also. I can use it to haul the quad trailer around the perimeter of the big yard when I get to the point that I can start cutting back vegetation on the four sides--property is kind of a square. This will be very helpful. Next on the agenda is for the repairman to change my oil, do the servicing on the tractor, and fix DH's wench.
I worked on the K for most of the day and managed to get lots cleaned including the windows. The dust is a severe problem right now so it is challenging to keep most things clean. It's best just to dust every other day and in some places I dust daily. This cleaning was on the agenda. It took way longer than I expected.
Tomorrow I will continue window washing after I have thoroughly cleaned the area I am working on. Entry way, Laundry room, Guest bedroom. Also the dreaded stash and dash closet is going to get done tomorrow. It is at it's all time worst. Need to finish the watering cycle I started on Wednesday.
Things are starting to look great! If the layer of dust that instantly appears is overlooked. Also rescheduled Clair's physical therapy appointments to once every three weeks
Another lovely fall day and I was stuck on the house. Major Bummer! Saturday I will be back outside doing yard work.

I apologize for going MIA again, all is well but I had an emotionally upsetting occurance late Wednesday and was completely non functional yesterday. I am regrouping, eiting.
I have read your posts and your super productive days and it makes me think of all I could have gotten done instead of imploding. Must make better choices!!!
THe plastic yard organizer sounds very functional!! I had look up what Kombuchas were though..lol. Quad repair nice and keeping up with dusting and chores! hopefully good fall weather days continue and you can get outside to enjoy it.
Positives: -got the 4 ornaments delivered for the donation sponsor gifts -got cards, sacks, wrote them, made and delivered the personalized ornaments to the closing pediatrician office. -stopped at t paint store and purchased the "Fan Deck", I just wanted it. -made chocolate chip cookies -made dough yesterday for sourdough waffles, cooked the waffles this morning -made the MB bed. -got the additional twine needed to complete the sparkle ornaments
ToDos' -reclaim kitchen after the cooking escapades -work on red wood cut ornaments so they can be completed and listed. -put current laundry away

Z, I am so totally jealous that you bought a fan deck! That would be so much fun to own. Have you seen the Sherwin Williams commercials? I love those! Friday Accomplishments: Major TaDa was getting the stash and dash closet under control. Not everything got done but I managed to get it all very well organized and the closet is back to looking great. Also pressed the sweaters I had washed earlier in the week and mended two beloved dog toys. Many items got taken care of. I had quite a bit of office emails etc to get done so I took care of them. Figured out the dog shots for the year and when they needed appointments. This always seems so complicated because of differing time schedules. I got that done and also updating their individual sets of copies of shot records. Also decluttered old papers out of two dog related binders and managed to get the leftovers to fit nicely in one binder. Got my online ordering done. So glad I took care of these things. More to do on Monday but for the next few days I can concentrate on something else besides the Paper Tiger. Hooray!
Tomorrow I have a list of items for DH to help with involving me getting on a ladder or things that are just too heavy for me. It's better if I have some type of assistance when I have ladder chores that require going up fairly high. I am just going to have a "This and That" day where I do whatever comes to my mind or if I run into it and it needs to get done.
I do feel like I am catching up. I know that FLYlady says :You are not behind, just begin where you are". I love the second part of that saying. Begin where you are. It sure has made me become relaxed and also dropped the perfectionism. However when things get so out of bad it's hard to not feel overwhelmed. I am really positive after the last couple of days!!! since major progress has been made.
Hope you are having fun looking through you Fan Deck!

Saturday: Busy day for me working outside. DH got the old hole filled and a new one made for me to put debris in. Those 27 bushes filled up our latest hole rather quickly. Accomplishments: Got rid of dirt mess that the mole made. I would sure like to see this creature instead of just seeing the aftermath of his or her digging. I bought 6 large artificial rocks to go over the difficult native vegetation bushes in the back planters. These are used for valve covers for sprinkler systems so they are hollow on the inside and really don't look too bad. Anyway I had to saw some of the branches off on and on. Finally got all those bushes covered which means that I will never ever ever again have to cut them back. Next year I will be able to remove them. This is a definite EMP item since the bushes ignite easily which leads to tree ignition. Yikes! The stuff I have found out about wildfire safety......
Worked on two of the pine trees in the back planters also. For fun, I call this sculpting. The little dead twigs and small branches are removed as well as any additional cutting back of limbs that needs to be done so that I can deal with the tree maintenance or just get by it without it poking me.
The wildfire displaced bird project: Wow! there are a lot of these birds. Anyway, I raked up all the old hulls etc and got that picked up which was way more than can be imagined. Also I wanted to redo the fencing that goes around the feeding area so I got that done by adding two more dog pens--It seems like these dog pens are about 15 feed long, 2 feet tall and are made up of panels so they can be arranged at different angles so that they stand up by themselves. I have to have the area fenced off since the black lab girls eat the bird seed which is not good for their digestion and other things. This whole area is confounding me due to concerns I have about feeding etc. But I will just say that these birds are so lovely when they are all flying in different directions and zooming in front of me when they have their afternoon feeding. There are over 300 Rock Doves and as many sparrows so this is a big deal. I will try to figure out how to let other people be a part of this. I know many nature lovers and people who love this planet are so saddened by the terrible loss of ....... due to these wildfires and that they would be so happy to be able to contribute something to help these displaced animals and birds. I have fed large flocks of birds through these drought years. My yard sounds like all the birds from Cinderella showed up! So wonderful to hear all of the singing.
That's about it for me--18,639 Functional Fitness steps today.

Sunday:
I picked up the things left outside and inside and did a quick clean up of the house. My significant achievement is that I groomed Sam the Collie. Also gave him a trim in all the major areas. Still more to do but I got a good start today. That was about it for me today. However it takes hours to get Sam done and I probably only have one more hour to go so I am happy about what got done today!
Time to rest.
Hope you are having a great weekend!!!

You are doing great! The tree sculpting sounds a bit liek Bansai Tree trimming? IT probably is similar but on a larger scale for you. The birds sound wonderful, I'm sure they are happy for your efforts! Good work on the dog grooming as well and the stash and dash closet.
I can't lie, I have been almost completely disfunctional since last Wednesday. But I will focus on the FlyLady saying, Begin where you are, on not dwell on these lost days.
Home TaDas: -paid several bills -emptied DW, reloaded, ran it -rolled trashes to the curb -put away counterful of handwash items -washed A LOT of new handwash stuff that had piled up, it is drying now -mailed two Etsy orders (my sister) and subscription renewal -cleaned off kitchen counters, recycled a lot of paper, mailers, enevelopes -serviced the cat box, added litter, sprayed air freshener in there.
Recent TaDas: -took care of ordering some photos from a photo shoot of DD's that took place almost a year ago. Yikes...thankfully that's done, it was already paid for. -I got the kid's Dr. record transfer records turned in when I dropped off the gifts at the office, I'd also gotten a copy of their most updated immunization records.
Craft/Etsy: -I have three new designs for Victorian Row House ornaments. As they are2 3/4 " wide and exactly 4 inches tall, I will be able cut at least 12 of these from one craft board. The shapes of the houses are all the same and have a 3/4" flat top, with slight inward curve down to the perpendicular wall. They will not be that different from each other but they each will have different window shapes, grid, dental molding touches, snowy border roof and little snowy border along the bottom. They will be a lot of painting because they each have 8-9 windows and a door to do. These will only be red and white again, red base, white embellishment, and I Think will be darling. I will paint the front and back both, and these I will sell individually because they will require a lot of painting, they will be $15.00 each.
I have gone out and looked at the patio painting job DH wants me to do. I will sweep it today, and see if I can borrow a blower, or drive up and get ours, DH took it. I'm not sure it's going to warm up enough for it to be dry enough to paint. We shall see.
I hope to do some weeding and pruning at the house today. I WILL do it!!!

Z, The Victorian ornaments do sound darling!!!! Great job with the TaDas. Monday Accomplishments: Managed to overcome being on the ground flapping. I think I am just tired. - Got the vet appointments set for Clair and Sam. Had to argue with her but was just as pleasant as could be until I got my way. - Annual physicals for DH and me rescheduled - Worked on hacking issue. Wow! Some very sophisticated criminals did those emails to clients attempting to get money from them. The computer whiz came in and found out how they had hacked and corrected the problem, passwords changed again on and on. He said that there is a rash of this going on right now. Can you imagine wanting a job being a criminal. Talk about bad values! - Got three big contractor bags of plants cut/ pulled along the driveway. These are the ones that look cute now but in a couple of years are over taking everything. Also took a look at what else needed to be done. Some bushes need to have dead material pruned out and this is another big job--well nothing could be as big as those 11 A-Bomb bushes. Anyway I need to figure out when I am going to start this which is probably a three full day job. - Got back to housecleaning and did a quick clean up. Also started working in the entry doing a complete cleaning. - Talked to the slider door company today. Of course things are more complicated. Now I have decided to just replace that entire doggie door unit (skipping the particulars of that mish mash). Also rememberd that I have other problems and she said they could be taken care of. Which are: replace mesh in one slider screen, take out the doggie door mesh etc in another slider screen, replace the bird pecked screens on two small windows. I forgot the bent screen but will get that added to the list. And also repair the lock on one slider that magically locks after going outside so that I can't get back in. - My quad repair has slipped back into the poorly running sector again. I am being calm and serene about that one. If DH gets his battery put in I can just use his until Round Two of the quad repairing on mine.
I really like that saying "Begin where your are". It has helped me through a lot. Lately with the 11 acre yard project devolving to me I say to myself "How do you eat an elephant". Of course the answer is , One bite at a time". This is a seriously powerful one for me since shrieking overwhelm sets in when in actuality all I need to do is relax and get started.
Time for food! I am excited about that LOL

Tuesday:
I ran errands today. Got all the shopping done for the week and put it away. After that I was sidelined n bed with a headache.
Tomorrow the electrician is supposed to come to work on the basement lighting. Also my AA is coming out to work on my two computers--this pertains to the hacking incident. Not too sure what I will do yet but there is plenty to do and then some.

Wednesday:
Accomplishments –
Got the recycle trash can outside for pick up.
EMP accomplishments: The electrician came and fixed the lights in the basement. They were put in by handy??? DHs so I suspected they were not up to code which they weren’t. This problem was rectified and falls under EMP due to the fire threat. Also scheduled the K lights to be replaced with another kind requiring more electrician work but I will NEVER have to replace them or at least not withing the next 20 years. The lights have to be ordered etc so maybe a few weeks until this is done. Decluttered the spare lights that will no longer be any good once all this takes place. Hooray for me on that one since I didn’t let them sit in the basement for a couple of years. That is Old Michelle behavior LOL
EMP—there were three door mats outside that are made of material that is not ember friendly. I decluttered those today and replaced two of them with the right kind. Now I won’t have to drag dirty door mats into the house if we have to evacuate in the future—this was done once already. I am trying to do my best to reduce the number of things that need to be done since we have been under evac orders several times already and it has become apparent that I need to be as organized as I can be.
Regulars: Got the bird seed pile of bags out of the back of the car and put away.
While the electrician was here I fixed the dogs’ frozen veggie packs for an entire month. They get veggies with their dinner every night. Not many—just broc, caul, & carrots.
Wrote down the books in the four series I bought for my Kindle. Now I won’t have to guess which one is next. I have some already on my Kindle so I will go back and do this for them at some point. Office work – updated AA’s job duties for tomorrow, dealt with emails etc.
Spent 2 1/2 hours cleaning the house. I didn't quite get done but everything is so much cleaner after all the time spent on catching up so it was easy to do maintenance work today. Also I decided that anything I noticed that had been missed before I would do so it made this a rather lenghty Home Blessing. More to do tomorrow.
Got DH to do two chores when he got home. These little things I need help with are multiplying like rabbits. He replaced the hose that had a big hole in it that was part of my manual watering system and got a dog gate put back in place. Now he is working on putting the battery in his quad which means I can work on a project tomorrow for it-- if the smoke cooperates. It did not do so today. Gasp!
Threw that hose in the garbage--another decluttering victory!
Great day for me!!!!!!! I just LOVE, LOVE,LOVE my home when it is sparkling. It has been a long time since I have gotten it in this good of shape. Hooray!
Hope you are doing OK!

Hello,
I started a post yesterday but kept getting sidetracked, now I see it is gone.
Good work having an elec
Good work on having electrician come out to address issues. I am very big on things being done to code, especially electricity. It is expensive, but worth it. Glad you're enjoying a sparkling home. I'm curious what book series your listening to? I need ideas. Do you ever watch music videos? THere are some funny ones done by the "Holderness Family" they are very talented and have done a Bon Jovi "It's My Life" parody in regard to riced cauliflower. So funny, check it out if you need a laugh.
Yesterday and this morning TaDAs: -washed a mirror -did little things in guest bath -unloaded, reloaded, ran DW -made dinner last night -helped mom via phone call with Amazon orders -photographed 12 days of christmas, this is going to be interesting to see which way to go to get to printing, too much to explain, editing, but I'll stop by printer today and run a few tests in addition to what I mailed in yesterday. -emailed questions for the virtual high school bazaar, it sounds a bit weird, not sure I'm going to do that. I will just post locally on my own page during that time plugging my own stuff. I asked questions via e-mail, they were not answered.
I'm going to my "real" dentist appointment this morning...lol. Then I'll stop by printer to get my tests, then come home, finish putting last bit of laundry away, pack a bag to head to my mom's house. I am helping her with fall put away and will stay there two nights.

Thursday: Today is kind of a blur. I worked on cleaning light fixtures and got about 1/3 of them done. Did the hand watering which takes about an hour. Did a load of laundry and worked on the guest bedroom. Got the UPS put away. The hose nozzles came for the four 100 foot hoses for EMP. I tested them. Sam's incredible collar came today. It is made in Africa and is leather beaded. Two inches wide so the beading looks spectacular--extremely colorful so he ended up looking like Collie royalty. This leather collar replaces the other ones which can melt in the heat in a WF situation. The girls already have these types of collars. I also got two audits finished.
Z, I Google whatever type of book I might want to read such as Western Mysteries and then GoodReads comes up and also listing of the 10 best etc. Then I go to Amazon and check out the books. I haven't ever read a Western Mystery but I am going to check them out. Also possibly humourous Western Mysteries. I just tried that out and I have in fact read some of the Holmes on the Range books years ago. I don't watch music videos mostly because I wouldn't know what to watch. I thought that one you suggested was so!!!! funny. Also another one started about being quarantined due to Covid but I am saving it for when I need uplifted. Thanks for sharing!
Hope your time with your DM is enjoyable!!!
