WELCOME! We are followers of FLYLADY principles for decluttering our homes, as well as WEIGHT WATCHER guidelines for healthy lifestyle choices. We are working on consistent, daily steps to achieve our goals.

HEALTHY CHOICES 8 glasses of water 2 fruits 2 milk 3 veg lean protein healthy carbohydrates (choose whole grains, limit sugar & alcohol) vitamins journal
HABIT OF THE MONTH – Before Bed Routine
This week we are in Zone 3: The Bathroom and one extra room (do a “stash and dash” in any room
Daily Missions:
Monday: Wipe down the base and back of toilet, other room: pick any area in house and make dent in a “stash and dash” pile. Grab a garbage bag and for 5 mins, pick up any trash or recycling Tuesday: Clean the bathroom garbage can. Stash and Dash: 5 mins grabbing anything that can be given away Wednesday: Clean out medicine cabinet. Stash and Dash: 5 mins grabbing anything that has a home and put it there Thursday: Clean and shine bathroom sink and counter. Repeat Monday’s stash and dash Friday: Mop bathroom floor. Do a 27 fling boogie: pick an area to grab 27 things to give away, throw away, put away.

Ha Ha Ha!! I can't edit the name of the thread. I am telling you, I have been so exhausted lately that I am starting to thing I should turn my keys and badge into my supervisor and let her book me a room with my patients. I have been so confused lately. I keep getting the days wrong, getting confused about meetings, and looking for my badge when it's already around my neck. I did have a nice 2 hrs meeting with my intern outside today. It was lovely to be out in the sun. Wednesday possibilities (it is Wednesday isn't it?) Pay Verizon bill (forgot to pay so we're 4 days late which I hate) Send DH vacation days 15 mins of hot spot clearing on breakfast bar 1 load of laundry Make breakfast and lunch for tomorrow WW in (so far I have lost 9.5 lbs in 2 mts, slow but steady) Evening rountine

Cathy - stress will do that! Even good stress, LOL. Sending you a cyber-hug and some sunshine...
Looks like I missed posting yesterday. I got a lot of little errands done, also had coffee with a good friend outside on her deck and then we went out to fill some neighborhood book boxes in the city with school supplies, books & such. But...I did not get any decluttering done. Oh well, today's a new day.

How kind and generous of you to put school supplies in the book boxes. I sometimes would be at the store and I would hear a teacher saying "yes I am a teacher and show id to get a discount on the supplies she/he was buying out of her/his pocket for the classroom. I always tried to have some cash with me to help out. Your time with your friend sounds lovely, isn't it funny how now (I included) when ever we talk about having "coffee" or "food" with a friend we make sure we say "in the backyard, on a porch, 6 feet away" etc. Just got home, so obviously not a lot will get done but let's put one thing on there that is so past due that maybe, just maybe I will do it (or get it done tomorrow.) Thursday possibilities: bring up Fall decorations from basement (really, how hard can this be?) make breakfast and lunch send email to intern call hairdresser back water my poor house plants (I think I can hear them begging) evening routine

I'm doing the Friday dance today!!!!!!!!! My hair appt. got cancelled tomorrow but I'm good with that. I would love to not rush anywhere tomorrow and just relax. I'll work on finding somewhere to go with DH (he gets so housebound working from home.)
Still a bit of rain here from effects of "Sally" but not has bad as I have seen in the past. So happy that I finally got the Fall decorations up to the dining room table and now I can put some up this weekend.
Friday possibilities Cook dinner Pay dr bill Plan something to do this weekend Lunch with co-worker Declutter hot spots to decorate 15x Evening routine

Good Friday Noon! Cathy, yay for getting the fall decorations out...I've been in denial, but it is definitely getting cooler now, especially at night. I am drinking my pumpkin spice flavored coffee, LOL!
No rain here yet from Sally, but we have had some haze every day from the wildfires in the NW. It makes for pretty sunsets, but...scary that the smoke gets all the way here to the NE! I can't even imagine what that has been like for people out west. Sending prayers for them and for folks in the storm paths.

Carol, I have talked to people I know in the San Francisco Bay Area and it is horrible. Not only is there smoke but there is ash everywhere and my cousin says it isn't fine ash it's more like small pieces of wood. Praying for them and those who are recovering from the storm. I'm sliding a few Friday tasks over to the weekend...did a few errands yesterday that took longer than planned!
