How do you measure your success in your diet and exercise efforts?

I measure by how much I weigh, if I pass my blood work tests at my annual physical, and for exercise if I did some. As for my food plan, if it satisfies me, plus is enough food to keep me from being hungry.

I think by my blood tests (no high blood sugar and cholestral down). And by how my clothes are fitting, and how I feel when I look in the mirror - basically how I feel about myself.

Success measured for
Diet: * Weight/Scale
* Tracking (can look back on it) * GHG's * How I feel * Clothes that didn't fit zipping/buttoning again
Exerrcise:
* Minutes active * Endurance (time I can walk...when walking...and also speed to cover the same amount of ground)
* Strength in weight lifted (when doing weight training) * Flexibility (when stretching)

I’ve measured my success by the scale for most of the last 40 years. At this point of my life I measure my success by: How I feel - Stronger, more endurance, more flexibility, lighter on my feet, more energetic. How I look - enjoying my reflection in the mirror, seeing muscular definition. How my clothes fit, anxiety level when shopping for clothing How I handle social situations and dining out.

Like the rest, by the scale and by my health (good test numbers and no GI symptoms) and ability to function physically. And no pain!
