I will PMTH. Yesterday I closed all 3 activity rings on my watch. There are 13 handbooks left and I am going to return them to the club president because they belong to people who live too far away from me.There is just one I will mail to a former president who lives in assisted living . I couldnβt figure out how to get into the gate today so I will just mail it to her because sheβs really a sweet lady.Bob is making spaghetti for dinner and Iβll make salads.I want to clean three of the shelves in our hall bathroom that have pool towels baskets and odds and ends.Iβm not sure what else I will do but I donβt have any other specific errands.

I will continue to do what seems to be working for me Scale steady at 181 this morning
I think that we will wait to grocery shop till tomorrow. Will make a list of all the things we need and anything not at the grocery and produce markets we might want to pick up, too.
One of the Wednesdaay Women is going to Starbucks again as she did last week, let the group know and said that we are welcome to join her, and one who went last week is going to join her. I told them to have fun. I can't see going to Starbucks if we didn't go sit in someone's garden earlier when there were less covid-19 cases in the country. Ah well...their choice - their lives.
My son is on an international business trip (gulp) and his wife and daughters are home near Mobile in the path of Hurricane Sally. They are not on the beach but still will no doubt experience high winds and a lot of rain. I sent my DIL a link to the song Hurricane Sally and another link to a line dance done to the music...in case they want to tackle doing it together.
Today we have leftover mjudra for lunch and I will try to come up with a side dish to have with it. Not sure WHAT but something with the vegetables we have on hand OR perhaps save that for another day and do zucchini stuffed baked potatoes? Hmm...
ANN: It is nice not to have an agenda pushing you when you wake in the morning! It is crazy that we are nearly 3/4 through 2020 already! Where did it go? What a treat to have the ricotta pie gifted to you! You will work those calories off quickly, I am sure!
BEE: I know your plants are glad you went to water and visit with them while you consider what your doctor told you. Glad the PET Scan is scheduled. I am glad you enjoyed the mjudra. I make it with bulgur when doing core or brown rice but also use white sometimes. My husband likes bulgur bestt and it is Core so am doing that more often. I like garlic with it so add in some chopped cloves and then also have a garlicky cabbage salad or yesterday had the garlic/cucumber/yogurt-labne with mint salad. I can see it with chopped or shredded carrots or potatoes or anything really. Enjoy! Sorry your grandson lost his dog of nine years...always sad to lose someone you love.
JUNE: I have some cabbage in the fridge waiting on me, too. I am actually looking forward to wearing a robe or winter pajamas or even jeans that fit that have not fit for years...in other words...cooler weather
SUSI: Hope all is well with you.
AUDREY: I need to check back over the year to see how long I would stay one weight before dropping. Since I weigh every day I should be able to find out. Wonder if it is five days or more or less. I also know that sometimes it would hold for a few days then go UP and not down...grrrr. Spaghetti and salad sounds delicious!
BECKY: I think mall or walmart walking is a thing of the past...until covid-19 disappears...at least for me!
PAM: Happy Birthday to your husband!
MJ: Oh my...weird at home still doesn't sound fun!

Gooooood morning
Ann Sorry that you had phone call that were not the good kind. Any indulgence that was worth every bite and brought back good memories is worth whatever bac talk you hear from the scale. I put on oldies music while working in the house. Danced Had to stop and dance because Chubbt Checkers invited me to do the Twist. Thought of you!
Audrey So kind of you to mail the handbook to the past president now living in AL What time will the steaks be ready? Enjoy. Congrats on closing all 3 activity rings!
Bee Lots of prayers & good wishes as you gather more information. Hope that the PET is not too unpleasant.
Good news about your eye.
Becky Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about indoor walking at WM or the mall. I do park at the very end of the customer's parking though. It was a comical WM moment because we were in the middle of dome project, we're messy, and some clerk saw R. That poor young man likely thought -- geez, WM attracts all kinds.
Cathy Super that 181 popped back on the scale. That's my approach to that lowest number is a promise of what can be mine. Very excited for you. I also have to see what I does fit for the fall.
LaDonna Bet the excitement of your beach vacation is building. Very happy for you. I just keep thinking of how much better you will feel this time than you did the last time that you visited Edisto.
Mj Ugh. . . Wierd sounds sad to me. Give Toots a hug for me. Underneath all this mess is his big brother that Toots has loved for 70 years.
Pam Glad that you had a good PT session. Good that you are physically stronger.
Susi How much work will be involved in transitioning the resort to fall hours? It has been a strange summer for your work.

Wednesday Not sure why this old timey hymn just popped into my head, but the answer lies somewhere. It has meaning though, that I know. So I will post it as my plans "I am going to rise, rise, and give God his glory, glory."
Was productive around the house. Sang, danced, cleaned. Had a phone visit w/ BF while sorting through piles inmy study. Managed. To get in 4000 steps inside the house before any short outdoor walking breaks. When I walk later I am serenaded by crickets and peepers. You can not believe how loud they are!
R has leftover venison steak in gravy for his dinner. I may bake a chicken breast or two. Otherwise there is enough "what not" to fill in for meals. An Aldi's run may be in the mix for one of us.
I will be cruisin' in the blue lane.
Time to "rise and shine."

Good morning, June - Ann - Becky - Audrey - Bee - Cathy - LaDonna - Susi - Pam - and AWF!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Extra prayers for any in the path of fire and storm(s)... and those who may need extra helpings of divine intervention at this time...
And a few extra for all the students headed back to their classrooms... whether IRL, virtual, or hybrid...

It's chilly outside! 48* at 6:45 AM. Sunny and in the low 70*s later. But the western wildfires are sending their smoke and ash into our high clouds, even here on the east coast. Nothing at ground level to affect air quality but still a grim reminder of what's going on across the country.
We actually have a LIST for today! Pick up scripts at ShopRite, get gasoline for GracieTOO, Wells Fargo at 2 PM, and a YM execStaff meeting at 5 PM. Feels odd. Feels OK.Yesterday I made some phone calls for Phases FOUR and FIVE. I'm waiting for a couple of call-backs. Today I'll work on the filing system; it's a good one for small bits of time.
Yesterday, too, our nephew Chad (DBabySis' boy) had a transection and avulsion of the extraspinal nerve. He did well with the surgery; now we'll see how he does with recovery, since the anesthesia always makes him sick. He's had multiple back surgeries; he is a (now-retired) police officer/chief and the initial injury was an on-job MVA.
And my WW-studio-GF Nadine was hit by a car in her doctor's parking lot, landing on her backside and L knee. Her doc (back surgeon; she's also had repairs done) said her back seemed OK, and then she went to the ER for a more comprehensive exam. X-rays show that any damage is bruises, not breaks. She's "of grandma age".
Coffee... βββ... breakfast...
π»ππππ»ππππ»ππππ»ππππ» Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! π»ππππ»ππππ»ππππ»ππππ»

Good morning all. Loving these cool temps. 41 again this morning. Sleeping has been great. MJ so happy that your friend Nadine has no broken bones. She and your nephew Chad that had surgery shall be in my prayers. Good luck with phases 4 and 5. Praying those go more smoothly for you and Toots. Happy your weather is also cooler. We too had the smoke advisory. I don't smell anything, but as you say a reminder of what is going on. June I too am amazed by how loud the crickets are! I can hear them with the sliding glass door closed to the screen room when I walk by. They surely are a rowdy bunch Beautiful words to that hymn. Supper sounds good. LOL to Chubby Checker. Carl and I saw him at one of the fairs we used to go to about 10 years ago. He put on a fabulous concert. Had to keep still with him singing The phone calls I keep getting are of the political variety. So very annoying. Trouble is I don't always look at the number that is coming through...next time I think I'll just let calls go to voice mail and deal with them then. Cathy yes I did enjoy every bite. I don't blame you for passing on Starbucks. As you said their choice. Bee prayers for you as well. Audrey happy handbook delivery. You are such a sweetie to do that. Nice that you'll mail the last one. Good job on the exercising and it's great to have a day with no agenda. Enjoy. Love your supper Becky hope you find all you need at HEB. I need to 'check my list' to see what's on it and then decide when to go. Waving.......and will CBL

Bee - So sorry DGS lost his dog. I know the pain. No, not a good year for him. Glad you got your PET scheduled so quickly. Thanks for the earworm June. It was a favorite as a child. I'm holding on to my last venison steak until DGF can get me some more. The venison chili I made last time was awesome and will be repeated. Sorry about the not pleasant phone call Ann. More than worth it indulgences are part of life. Mine set me back .2. Not a worry Becky - Hope you have a successful shopping trip. Are your finding the elliptical helpful? Audrey - We have strange skies as a result of the wildfires. Good job on the activity. Cathy - I don't blame you for not going to Starbucks. I'm fine, just lots of little busy tasks especially at work taking up my free time. Hope your son stays safe on his trip. Glad Chad and Nadine appear to be doing well. That's almost a normal list for you! I didn't realize you added a Phase 5 to the list. Hope it's not too much. LaDonna - You must be looking forward to this vacation. I'm here. Today should be a lighter day. End of season is just as weird as the season has been this year.

Hope that you all know that even if I do post it, I add you & yours to my prayers.
Mj That was a wierd day. Hope all will be well with your nephew & DF. Glad that you are in the phases of the Oh Brother project where your can work from home & reclaim some normalcy.
Susi Glad to put that earworm to work. It felt like the song was meant to share. I know that it is playing in my ear. That's what I thought. This had to be an odd end to an odd resort season. The rhythm of life is so warped right now.
Ann ''Tis the season for a barrage of political "blah, blah, blah." My phone pings with texts for R b/c uses it as his home phone number. (I transported our land line number as my mobile number). Yes, it is amazing how much they sing. I rather like hearing it when I try to catch of with my steps after mostly working inside.
Waving "hi" to all. Heading to the dry HS track for my longish morning walk. The black rubberized surface will radiate some warmth. It's really nippy outside & I need to buy some tops that fit tighter or look for a Cuddledud top. Do not want that cold air circulating under a loose top.

I am glad I called this morning. Insurance approved PT so I am on my way to a 10:00 appointment and then we will buy groceries. It would have been nice for them to call me as they said they would but I will go with the flow. Not like I have to be anywhere at a certain time. LOL.
BBL.
