This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome!

Good morning friends.
Not much planned for today, so kind of the norm I guess. We're having a bit of a cool down, with highs in the 70 for the next 7 days, but I'm not sure I expect that to stick. But I'm not going to complain.
It looks like Sally (which got upgraded to hurricane status) has decided to take a slightly more southern path than originally thought, and the worst should scoot south of of. We'll still get rain but not the other nastiness that generally accompanies these storms. Yay!
Janet - I'm sorry some of the students homes are not being the best of classmates. That has got to be frustrating. Do you not have the capability to mute their microphones from your end? How many online students do you have? How nice it much have been to get that appreciation from that parent.
Jill - I'm sure just a normal school day must have it's own kind of stress - even the good ones. Then adding grading and planning in the evenings, surely must all add up to an exhausting day.
Waving to everyone I'm missing. I hope everybody has a great Wednesday.

You don't always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breath, trust, let go and see what happens.

Good afternoon.
Still trying to get caught up at work. Not feeling as overwhelmed as I have been so that is a good thing.
DH may have to go out of town for work next week. I told him we should go ahead and move in this weekend since doesn't look like he will be working from next week. It does create a new problem with the Pups though. DF would be home all day with the pups and we are still waiting for the fence company to come back and extend the fence so we can just let the pups out of the side door. Until they get the materials in to install the additional fence someone needs to walk the pups to the gate to let them in. It would not be a big deal for DH or I but DF might have a problem with the pups listening to him. SO if DH does have to go out of town next week it might be better for us to wait another week to move :/
Lora glad you aren't going to get much of the hurricane. The weather here today is in the 70s. I think the next couple of days it will be high 60s. I have a feeling we have not seen the last of the hot weather here in VA.
Waving to everyone. Have a great Wednesday.

Hello Everyone...overslept a little, but still made it to my outdoor gym class....it was 56 degrees, but I was able to remove my sweatshirt...guess layers is going to be the plan for awhile. Next week, we will move to the basketball court...not the lovely view of the lake, but it will double the amt of participants possible so that will be good. DH was a little concerned about his water session today (the last one outside). It was a little chilly for him, but he did fine. I played mah jongg this morning and I have a meeting of our events committee in a few minutes. There is BINGO outside this evening on the lawn, but with it being outside, we have to bring our chair, clipboard, stay in our isolated area, etc so I think I will skip it (especially since I I would have to have my jacket for when the sun sets (ha - I am such a wimp). It is OK when I am exercising, but when I am just sitting...I am not so good.
Jana - I think you are right about the hot weather returning here (maybe next week). Sure wish your fence was completed... I know you are eager to move it!!
Lora - glad Sally is sidestepping you a little anyway.
My YDD's BF is heading to CA in a few days to pack up as much as he can to bring it back to the east coast and will try to get out of the rest of his year of rent...maybe the owners can find a new renter or sublet it or something, but who knows with the fires, smoke, etc....it is really tragic right now. IF not, they are talking about staying in CA during the winter when DD (she is like me...can't stand the cold) is freezing since they can both work from home. There is a possibility that I will go see her for a couple of days while he is gone and before DH has his cataract surgery next month. I will just stay quarantined in her home while I am there.
OK...time to head to my meeting.

Jana - oh girl! Ride it out. Eventually, all of the PITA stuff will be worth it in the end. I mean, thank goodness that you didn't go ahead and move in, assuming that all of these things would be ready to go for you, right? Trying to see the bright side for you. Hugs!!
Susie - sounds like a busy day for you and DH. The fires out west are terrible. I have friends in both Oregon and Washington that are having a terrible time, and they're not even part of the evacuees or impacted directly with fire. Just the smoke and ash in the air is causing a terrible time for them.
Since it got the slightest bit cooler today, and I'm wearing a sweatshirt (albeit a thinner one with 3/4 sleeves), I'm making soup for supper! Finally! Haha! Bacon cheeseburger soup, for something different (and I had everything on hand).
