T.G.I.F... Ready for a weekend! Even if it will be a busy one ~ I am ready to be home! NOT getting up at 4:30 AM, hoping to sleep until at least 6 or 6:30! LOL Having Eden overnight - not sure about Zoë, she has been a little "clingy" to Patti lately, so since Patti is off tomorrow - I may not have her! So with Eden here overnight it will be a sort of early morning - I'm sure. No worries, I have a hair cut at 8:30 AM anyway - so need to get up and get ready to head out around 8.
Meanwhile - TGIF... Deb is out today, so I have her morning work to do, after 11 I can focus on my own! Until 3 then Kaitlin leaves so not sure how the last 2 hours of the day will go! I managed to get ALL Settlements UP.To.DATE. yesterday!!! Even got my weekly report out as needed - so today it should be a fairly smooth day! YAY!
Yesterday - THINK FIRST THURSDAY went VERY WELL! Not only the work side but the eating/tracking side! YAY! Even with my measured and tracked glass of wine - I didn't use all my daily bites! I have figured out the where and how to set my WI day to TODAY... I used to do Friday WI, so for now I am going back to that - to see how my weekends go. Now that I have the app on my tablet - I was able to catch up my tracker last night - upstairs - even back a day or two... Just a new habit to get into I guess!
Oh and I did get my 100+ oz of liquids, more than half was plain water!
Ken & Tracy had an EMT class - online - last night, and they were using the kitchen island - so I went upstairs right after dinner... gave me time to get my tablet/app all set and will hopefully remember to do it each night! I may even get into the habit of tracking the night before!! I didn't think to do that last night! That's my goal this coming week!
OK I will refill my coffee and BRB ♥

Sue: Oh Thanks for the reminder... my gas light came on yesterday on my way home... will need to go get it this morning - ASAP! YAY for getting back to DAT tonight! Who goes with you this time?? You will make good choices at Dutch Apple tonight...
Gabrielle: WOO HOO for having someone to run with! OH dear... glad they can harvest through the night - due to the heat, etc., but MAN, that is a LONG night!! I'd probably be tired for three days after a night like that! LOL
LOL Yes - since my annual raise is based on my performance review, I have a lot of good things to SAY about myself! LOL Since I enjoy writing... and commenting... it's always been easy for me to make it thorough! I once had the VP of HR tell me it was "nice to read", since so many people just do one or two word comments, or rely on the "writing assistant" (computer) - heck I find that funny! I'd rather use my own words! We all know I have PLENTY of words/thoughts to share!
Oh a lot of doctors around here are seeing patients too - but for normal visits, IF they can be done Tele-Med they are!! Debbie (at work) goes to the same Dr I do, and she had to go in for blood work, but then tele-med for her annual checkup!
Jo: Hey GF, how's it going?? What did the Dr finally have to say when you got in the other day???
Sue: UGH Yeah, saving the bites on bread is a good thing, but somehow just changes the BLT (imho)... but good for you making that choice!
Well .6# is good for the first week, and you had said this wasn't an official week - you were using this as your practice week!
I found the settings, the site on the computer was helpful at giving instructions! Eh, it's not that it's difficult to maneuver - I just prefer my computer - not sure why - just one of those "habits" I need to break I guess! I am trying to remember to mark everything as a favorite for now!
LOL I know... all of our branches air systems have been upgraded as well, a lot of places have spent a lot of time and $$ on improving the air quality.

OK Ladies - time to get this TGIF Started... didn't get my salad made last night - because there was a class being held in my kitchen! UGH! So will throw my salad together, I think we are out of chicken so today will have to be tuna! Extra "bites" for a little mayo added - but still manageable!
A little frustrated yesterday - as the scanner in the app wasn't working, so had to search, and choose... MAN there are a LOT of options in the food data base to choose from!! I also need to leave a little early to get gas... hope the local guy is open! IF not there is another full serve about halfway to work, so will go there. I do NOT like to pump gas!
Pulled the pork butt from the freezer today - to get it ready to cook tomorrow... I also want to cook eggs and get a menu ready for next week - so that tomorrow when I take the girl(s) home I can shop before coming home!
Hope you all have a great TGIF ♥hugs♥

Good Morning! My pcp appointment went ok. Told him what was going on with the new Gastro Dr. He had to request the massive amount of blood work he did. Started crying when I told him about my Mum. I got my 1st in a 3 series of Hepatitis shots. I go back in 2 month for #2, than in 6 months I see him and will get the 3rd. He's going to wait until than and see how things go with liver and if I can keep eating healthy to check on diabetes. My A1C did go down from 6.6 to 6.2 and he said below 7 is good. So there is still hope there. No meds yet.....hopefully I can get this under control and it will be no meds ever! He said I need to be on cholesterol meds. But will wait to see how the liver issues come out.
Waves to everyone. I've got to get moving. I'm slammed at work.

Good morning!
Went to bed at 8:50 pm last night so I feel so much better with a good night's sleep. Meetings today for most of the day...tomorrow I am driving DS21 to his "drifting class" that DH got him for his birthday. It is this driving class where you drive their car on a track and do donuts, etc...anyway, it is a ways away and I don't want him going alone so I am going and I think I have to leave at about 4:00 am to get there---oh well! I will do my long run alone on Sunday and DH can get his usual run in. Tracking went fine yesterday...this week Wednesday was my "not so good" day--stress eating. Still tracking though so that is a good thing!
Carole: Glad that Patti can have the day to be with Zoe for when she needs it. And it means some nice one-on-one time for Eden, hooray! So, how is the driveway coming along...will you be able to drive on it soon? I hope so! Good job getting the tablet set up, etc. It took me YEARS to adjust to tracking on a computer or phone--I always preferred paper tracking. I am getting better with it all now. I am thinking that my Saturday of waiting to watch DS21 drive (there are 8 people in the class and they take turns with an instructor) will give me time to explore the site more, etc. Sorry about the scanner issue---I really use that alot. I used it all day yesterday so I guess I lucked out with the functioning of it. I got the zero points food list from an email that they sent me after I signed up. They sent an email welcoming me to "Carb Conscious" and sharing some general info about it--there were things to print out so I printed it out. I don't recall what all of the zero point foods were on WW PP plan, but it looks similar. Regardless, I will follow it. GREAT system to head upstairs (maybe with a cup of tea) and do your tracking. Hope that today is a good day---yay for being caught up!

Oh ladies I have to share. My WI yielded absolutely no weight loss. Zero, zilch, nada, nothing... BUT, the GOOD news is, I already notice a difference in my pants. Nothing drastic, but enough so I know this week has been good for me. A day or so after starting my fly by was higher, so I have lost something, but this goes to prove the number on the scale is not the end all of this journey.

Sue: Dutch Apple? YAHOO! What are you seeing? So glad that you get to go! As I mentioned to Carole, the zero point list came from the email that they sent me...not from WW -- not sure if it is identical or not. On occasion, I have seen how my tracking of bites translates to carbs, protein, etc. on my phone. Don't ask me how! I think I swiped one way or another. That is an example of something I want to figure out this weekend on Saturday while waiting for DS21. Sounds like your focus is paying off on the scale! Good job! Hope that you have a wonderful day!
Jo: I am so glad that you got in to the doctor and that you saw some progress on your A1C--I think that it measures 3 months of data so you have to wait a while before taking it again, right? Yes, we all hope that you can dodge medication as well. So, about the sling....I hadn't mentioned this before, but my mom had that done years ago right when it was first coming out--maybe 18 years ago? Anyway, the mesh that they used (a Johnson and Johnson product) turned out to be defective and it was disintegrating in her body after only two years or so. For a year I was rushing her to doctors appointments, dealing with infections..it was awful. FINALLY we found a doctor at UCLA who specialized in removal of the mesh and he is the one who turned it around. She was actually involved in a class action lawsuit against J&J and they won. So, the lesson in all of it? GET A GOOD DOCTOR. I vote for doing some research, finding someone who is highly recommended, and having a different person do your sling. Just a thought. I hope that today is a good day for you!
Christine: How is it going? Busy, I'll bet. Hope to reconnect this weekend!
Jenny: Hope that you are doing well too!
Hello to Shelly, Lisa, and all who follow. I am going to get a move on. I am happy to have prepared lunch with some left over veggies from dinner last night....why don't I do that more often? Another goal! See you all later!
