This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome!

Good morning.
Yesterday was just a miserable no good day for me. I am not going to go into it - I just want to forget it at this point. I know today will be a better day!
Susie so sorry about the migraine auras - I have heard so many people with them lately. Wonder if it has something to do with the weather and pressure?? I hope you are feeling better.
Lora glad you do not have any rain on the immediate horizon. It rained buckets here yesterday, complete with flooding. The sun is peeking out this morning and the temps are still cooler than normal. I will take it.
Jill hope you got all the grades added and everything you needed to do last night.
Janet so sorry about issues with teaching partner.
No big plans for the weekend. I am going to start going through my closet and taking more clothes over to the new house. I am determined that I am moving in by next weekend, with or without cable/internet. DH might be working out of town some next week. He was supposed to tell me last night for sure, but I was so annoyed we decided to not discuss anything last night and just watching some mind numbing TV. I will find out today.
I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Hello Everyone....I was up early & off to pick up DS and take him to a hospital appt. Did't feel well yesterday, but so far today I am good. Since I wasn't feeling great, I went to bed with nothing to eat after 6:30 -- awesome--- I need to do that EVERYDAY!
Jill - glad PT seems to be going well these days...good luck with grades
Janet - darn, you are really struggling with your teaching partner..hope things improve.
Lora - my "soup" (rice, quinoa, chicken & chicken bone broth, and chopped spinach, turned out pretty thick, but I really enjoyed it... I was feeling like I wanted chicken noodle soup so this was a good alternative.
Jana - sorry about the bad day (Alexander's Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad DAy), but today is a new day. I like your determination to move it next weekend regardless!
Next up, I am picking up MDGD from school and making 2 deliveries of charitable supplies. Then DH and I will spend an hour or so with some friends outside the pool to catch up on one another's week. We are up for a relaxing weekend and I am "considering" making a quick trip to Boston to see YDD next weekend while her DBF returns to CA to pack up some winter apparel....we'll see.

Hello everyone!
I'm pretty late getting here today. I woke up thinking it was around 7am, looked at my phone and it was 10am! Oops! Haha. So, I got a late start and have been behind all dang day. Luckily, there is nothing pressing in my life these days where I have to be anywhere or do anything at any certain times.
Jana - I think if I were in your shoes, I'd plan on continuing to get moved over and settled in as well. It will be so much easier having a "main" home instead of being half in each space. I think when we were half in each house, was the hardest part of our split time between the two. Deep breaths, and keep in mind that nothing lasts forever. Better and less stressful days are coming. Hugs!
Susie - your soup sounds very comfort foody! We haven't had chicken anything in a long time. But I've been thinking about getting some thighs and whipping something up. I'm just not sure what yet.
Jill - I hope you got all of your grading entered. What fun plans do you have for the weekend? You guys always seem to be doing something interesting.
Janet - I hope today was a good day for you at work, and that you have a nice weekend planned.

Jana, I love the "Fri Yay!!! Yes!! Gosh, you gotta get in the house. Maybe for some unseen reason, you are meant to move just a bit later.... you are almost there. Susie, I am so sorry you have been getting those blasted headaches. Boston, in the Fall??? Sounds like a perfect perfect weekend idea! I hope it works out. I hope you have a nice time at the pool tonight. Lora, so did you get extra sleep? It's about time. So glad you didn't get the stormy mess. I am not sure what's on the schedule yet, but I think we are going to go to church in person. I go with my students, but DH and I haven't on the weekend. Janet, happy weekend! YOu must be exhausted. I wish though, that you had better support from your partner. Those kiddos are sure lucky to have you! RobinMD, hope your computer stuff got worked out. Happy Friday!! So happy it's Friday! Got the grades in for the mid-term progress reports. PHew! Today I had my neuro appt. and gosh, it was easy peasy. The doctor got my full history, did his exam, checked my MRI... loved what he had to say. So, yes, I have a 5x7cm cyst in my head, but it is NOT causing the problems with my ear and balance stuff. Nice that he isn't surgery-happy. I had a crainiotomy in 2003, and it came back... but it's not causing the problems it did way back when. He thinks a nerve that handles the hearing and balance both detereorated. So I just have to hope it doesn't detereorate more. Tonight we're watching Jeopardy that we recorded this week. I hope everyone has a good night.
