Let's do a daily post with just ONE THING we are grateful for. With everything that is going on, sometimes it is hard to remember to focus on the good things too. It can be funny, silly, serious, whatever, no judgments here.
It is FRIDAY peeps! That means tonight will be the cheesy goodness that is PIZZA!! π
*Yes I realize I put the wrong day up there I just wanted to see if everyone has had their coffee and was paying attention. π€£ Okay okay I admit it I got the date wrong π

Actually noticing the temperature outside was a teeny bit lower. 72 degrees....I'll take it, even if it was just for a few minutes. Maybe autumn is coming! (fingers crossed) P.S. I know, Texas people are nuts at the end of the summer season!! We're all so tired of the heat and humidity.

By the time I got online date was corrected! Stick with me on this one: garage door roller broke in half with both cars inside. Our repair people who live down the street were over in Santa Clara on a job. This is like 30 miles away over a twisty highway. They didn't get here till 7:00 PM or so. But they fixed it. The good thing, this didn't happen today which is pizza night. I guess I would have done delivery.

lol Texas people are nuts...my brother is one of you now with the weather. lani, glad it worked out with the door. Supposedly we can lift ours if our opener dies or we lose power. I think we'd still be in trouble. My days of dead-lifting are far behind me now. Pizza night here too!

The humidity is lower so the air doesn't have a texture and cling to you lol.

linda72, We are also in the range of 72 today. lani, That's great that you got the garage door fixed. We have a two car garage but there is a door for each side. Also we have a lever we can pull to disengage the door. Day is going pretty good.

doordie50, bbbearsmom, oh, I can open the door manually, like when the power goes out. But with the roller in two pieces, it wouldn't budge. Also, the YouTubers were warning about snapping cables/springs causing injury or death(!) when trying to manually open a broken garage door. I think they were overly alarmist .

Moderate air quality, clouds in the sky and drops of water from the sky not enough water to call it rain, but there is rain in the Sierras π

We are also in the range of 72 today. Judy, I didn't make myself clear on that. 72 was the LOW reading for the morning. It's now 89 degrees here so we'll hit 90 for sure this afternoon! LOL!
