Well..... I have "noodled" long enough about how to create a fair, viable test that does not involve using a glitchy proctor option on the teaching platform. Feel like my thoughts are coming together nicely and that I have carefully considered all the ins and outs. Was happy that when I asked my former Chair how he approaches tests, his approach mirrored the design that I was already making. Was also pleased that his experience w/ video taped lectures also supported my decision about them. All in all hearing that his hard won experience supported my curricular decisions was helpful.
Time to grade document analyses. Am ahead of the game though. Go team, Junebug

Go Junebug indeed Nice that all your time and efforts are paying off.
Bee enjoy your soup. I'll be making mine again in a day or so. Running low.
Just came back from an invigorating hood walk. Felt good.
Now time for coffee...nectar of the gods!

May she rest in peace. She accomplished much whether or not you agreed with all her decisions. Audrey - Sounds like a good plan for the week. Nora's class will love the bags. Glad your cooking class when so well that you signed up for more. Our local Greek festival has been cancelled but they are doing food orders to go next Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Enjoy your day Annskinn LaDonna -Glad you went to see the cardiologist. Hopefully it's nothing but better to get it checked Becky - Hope you didn't overdo it yesterday. Cathy - I'm sure your soup will be delicious. I just drain the pool and it goes under the deck. Since it has chlorine in it, I don't use it on the vegetables or herbs. Enjoy your physical labor today MJ. Best way to work out the stress of the Russ situation. June - Yes, it was nippy this morning. You deserve new jeans! Enjoy your roasted veggies, walk and fire. My neighbor is a doll. It's her landlord who isn't. I fed the ferals and then got on the 7:30 VM. I then went to Trader Joe's to get things before my mani. I didn't know they changed their hours and now don't open until 9. So I went to a small Korean market nearby and got red bell peppers for $1.49 lb., huge poblanos for $2.49 lb., cilantro, limes and lemons for a very low price. Got my mani, did the rest of my shopping, cleaned (and cleaned out) the fridge. All the peppers have been roasted and will be peeled when cooled. I have poblanos in the garden but they aren't being enough for chili rellenos. They will be roasted as well and used to stuff chicken next week. Pool was cut apart and will be disposed off. I made a broccoli rabe and hot pepper wrap with Thai chili sauce for lunch. Next up is a bike ride and then try to find crab stuffed flounder for dinner. Then comes some weeding and clearing up the shrub cuttings. I'll feed and walk Frankie around 6. Carol probably won't get back much before 10 or so.
So I came home and found that Jack moved everything in front of the Temptations out of the way, knocked the lid off and ate ALL that was in there. I'm sure he had help from Midnight. Fortunately there was only about 1/3 left.

Susi you have accomplished a LOT today. LOL to Jack and Midnight. Rachel would often do the same thing...as well as Buddy and Rocky. They LOVED their treats Hope you can get some R&R in. Happy to say that my 'chores' are complete. I picked up a sweatshirt last week at Walmart and left it on top of the dresser. This morning when I looked at it, I noticed a frayed area on the sleeve. What I didn't want to do was return it....but decided to 'bit the bullet' and just get it done. Luckily, for Saturday it was like a ghost town in there. With our nice weather, I'm sure that a lot of folks are at the various apple orchards walking around. Anyway, I was in and out in record time. I just had it taken off my charge and will look again at another time. Waving.....

Ann Lovethe sound of that! My walk was not invigorating. I went to Marc's to see what produce they had that Aldi's does not carry. Happy to say-- locally grown fresh green beans, corn, & Delicatta squash (specially) Yum. Yum. And yum
Susi You go girl! Your yard will beship shape. Grrrrr. . . Sometimes those furry ones are just too clever
So I do!!!! I picked up a pair of black jeans at WMart, but they seem long although labeled petite. Deciding . . .

Mmm to that awesome sounding produce. Enjoy.
I too picked up a pair of jeans marked petite. My mistake was not looking at them. The label on the outside was petite length but the inside was marked long. Sheesh. From now on I shall examine clothing more carefully.

Bee, if you have Netflix watch The Notorious RBG. I strongly disagree with her political comments because Supreme Court Justices should never make political comments but her life was fascinating

Audrey I can find the disinfecting sprays everywhere but not the wipes.LOL on Lily Belle. Sometimes Scooter is like that. Here lately we have to put the paper bowls right in front of wherever she is laying. I had some dry kibble in her bowl and she wasn't eating it so I put 1/2 packet of the moist kibble in with it and drizzled EVOO on it and shook it around and I just heard her cleaning it out.I'm glad you enjoyed your cooking class and enjoy your takeout.
Cathy I always lost like a turtle. It will come off when it's ready to and unfortunately not a minute before.Sounds like a good clean the fridge soup.Yes Scooter is spoiled rotten. We have had her since she was 3 months old when we rescued her from the shelter. My FIL had low BP and he would fall sometimes pass out while he was eating sitting down into his food.
MJ Wow on your 40's.It was nice here with a low of 67.Enjoy cutting trees at the Plantation.Enjoy the boys sleepover.Yea for a good-busy weekend. You have certainly had more than your share of bad-busy days.
Bee Thanks for the early anniversary wishes.I still need to clear the counter before we can bring the air fryer in the house.I shouldn't need it before Tuesday or Wednesday anyway. We need to finish up leftovers first.Glad you were able to talk to your former chair and your ideas jive with each other.I hope you enjoyed your walk.It was so pleasant this morning I was able to take a 1 mile walk and my knee didn't really bother me until right before I got back.It was 67 and windy with low humidity. It's only 82 at 6:00.My kind of weather.I can't imagine needing a campfire in September.LOL on those sweet talking jeans.I can still get into mine but my scar is still too tender to wear them for very long at a time.

Had a nice Saturday. Walked and got to talk to a few neighbors on our hood walk. God love LuLa...she truly IS the Walmart greeter around here. Puts a smile on everybody's face.
The pot roast came out great. Best news is we have enough for another meal at a later date.
Sweet dreams all.

Ann Wow on waking up to 34 degrees.I was more than happy with our 67.I think 34 in September would make me shiver. My knee was a little sore this morning but it's just tight now as it has been.We are still wearing shorts here.
Bee Enjoy your "fake" caldo verde. The elliptical is working well for me except when I push it too much.I think it helped me walk better this morning.I'm glad you are getting rain out of Beta.We are still hoping to get some out of it Monday and Tuesday.Happy you are rested.
Go Team Junebug indeed.
Thanks Susi. I was a little sore this morning but the walk seemed to loosen things up a little and now they are tight again.Oh well. You have been a busy bee today.I wonder why TJ's changed their hours to a later opening. Our HEB and Walmart are now open more hours and opening earlier.I know you enjoyed your mani.Cats are tricky.LOL.
Ann Is Walmart taking returns on clothes now?For awhile our Walmart had closed their fitting rooms and wouldn't take returns on clothing.I do think the fitting rooms are back open so they are probably taking returns on clothing now too.
June I find jeans I get buy at Walmart are a little long even though they are marked petite. The only jeans I buy there are Lee Riders though.
Bee What an adorable cutie.
