Good morning... SENSIBLE SATURDAY... I need a "sensible" day - including water - so I am trying to formulate a plan!!
We are going apple picking when Zoë gets up, probably have a quick lunch before we go - hope it warms up a bit. At least it won't be snowing this year... LOL It was a few years back! That I can do without!
Ended up doing the "FLASHLIGHT FRIDAY" at the corn maze last night... that was weird - but also fun! I wasn't going to go - but then Ken had an ambulance call, so I didn't want Tracy to have to go alone with 2 girls! Glad I went... it did me good to get out there and WALK... earned me about 3k steps! Yes I checked my Fitbit before we left - so that put me over my daily goal! The girls did great trying to lead us around - I was worried being dark, and other people, it might be too much for them - but they had a blast!
It was COLD though... so we came home and hit the tub before bed!
Getting a later start here this morning - had my haircut, and have laundry going - feeling lazy, but not for long! LOL Let me grab (yet another) coffee and be right back - then I will get to my kitchen duties!

Jo: Oh good news! No meds at this point... Yes, let's get our eating/drinking "in check" and get us both on the road to better health! No harm in crying when you spoke of DM...I broke down when I spoke with my PCP right after Matthew passed too! It's natural hun {{{hugs}}}
Gabrielle: Oh My - What an interesting gift! Who knew they even had such things to do?? LOL Hopefully you are at the track, and DS21 is having a great time!! YAY for you going - and allowing yourself some "down time" - hopefully enjoying some nice sunshine? Not too hot?? Not too smoky??
Uh Oh... sorry Wednesday was a stressful day - but tracking helps keep in from spiraling out of control into another day or three!
LOL Well, nope - Zoë did decide to come up last night - she just wandered downstairs, but it's all good. IF we didn't have them both we would not have done the corn maze last night! Yes my scanner on the app was working again yesterday - just a morning fluke I guess! Hmm, and therein lies part of my problem - I do not pay attention to the welcoming emails I get! Guess I'd better go back and check them out! LOL However, I do remember the lists on the website as well. As are the explanations of the different plans. Yes ma'am, it is back to tea drinking weather around here - so I have begun getting back to that habit this week!
YES prepping the night before does make the morning less rushed!

OK need to get moving - to get the pork cooking for tomorrow, and dishes from the week need to be done. Tonight is clean out the fridge night for dinner! LOL After apple picking today - I will likely make some fresh applesauce and maybe treat us to an apple crisp for tomorrow. I will hit BJs and the farm stand after dropping girls off at home this afternoon.
Feeling a little down today - so need some distractions - otherwise I will find myself back upstairs in bed for the day!
Might check in later... hoping everyone has a SENSIBLE SATURDAY ♥hugs♥

Hello everyone! I haven’t been here to post but I have been trying to read what all of you are up to!
Finished 2 more Reports for my contract work - I have no feedback if this district hoped I was submitting faster or if they are good with the reports?? I hate not knowing...4 of them were held up waiting for Speech and Occupational Therapists to submit to me their screenings and info to add. So maybe I am on track time wise...
I’m posting from my phone so this will be short - just wanted to share I AM out here just crazy busy like expected when I accepted the contract work.
Jo - thinking of you - not sure of all the details but I know emotionally sounds like you hit a rough patch - keep posting and sharing how you feel - we are here for you 💕
Love that some of you are experimenting with a new Tracker app...I’m curious how you find it compared to the many others we’ve tried through the years together! 😍
I hope to get caught up and will post more tomorrow?!?

Afternoon all....just been a lazy day here...slept until 8:30 which sounds great except I was still awake at 2:00am.....slept well but just not long enough and once I got up to pee at that point I was not going to get back to sleep so I just got up and enjoyed my coffee with Matlock as usual. Time to head back a couple days and try to catch up before heading out to paint....will actually only be me and Lynne's DDIL, Lacey tonight...Lynne won't be able to make so will just be the two of us....Lacey doesn't come very often so I'm sure she will appreciate a familiar face...otherwise she would doing it alone. She's a sweet kid....Sarah watches her girls...well, actually only the youngest one. Josie, now since Lily started school this year!! She's has watched them for over 5 years now.....
Carole....WTG on going back and tracking the rest of the dinners and meals "after the fact".....gotta start somewhere, right??? I did track my day yesterday until supper at Dutch Apple....hard to track that one....my plate was mostly proteins and veggies with one small serving of scalloped potatoes.....will admit, they were YUMMY!! I don't feel like I'm in control yet either but I thinking getting back to tracking, good, bad and ugly is a good start for me!! YAY for getting some major stuff done at work....seems the end of your week is always a toss up....someone is always out so good thing you had a productive Wednesday....hopefully Thursday was productive too so you will get to Monday in good shape!! LOL, seems Kaitlin always has a reason to leave early.....Lengthy is an understatement about your review process!!!
Well Carole....my Thursday wasn't much better than Wednesday since I had my leftovers from Chili's but the BLT wrap did help save me!! Will say I didn't miss the bread....I'm not a huge bread person so might just make it a habit more often to have a BLT wrap/lettuce cup....it truly was tasty and just enough!!
Carole....Jason and I have been saying for a LONG time we need to redo our wills now that we have grandkids....we want to make sure that if something were to happen to one of the girls before we die that the $$$ will go to the boys and not to the other sister.....maybe we need to add it to our list of winter "must do" tasks!!
Gabrielle/Carole...can one of you send me the link to the 0 point foods....I checked all my emails from ITB and I didn't get that link unless I'm missing it??? I even checked my spam folder to see if it went in there but it didn't???
Gabrielle...glad the winery told you to go ahead an start to harvest the grapes....sounds like a good omen??? I can't imagine how tired Ed gets this time of year....how many "nights" does it take to pick all the grapes. I'm assuming that they don't all come in at the same time...I know we have 3 different "eating" grapes and they come in staggered. Makes sense to do it at night to keep them cooler, especially with the crazy heat you have had this year!!
Yes Gabrielle...most doctors and dentists are taking patients in the office again....appointments are staggered to keep the number of patients down in the waiting room....at the dentist we actually have t wait in the car and they come out, take our temperature and ask us a bunch of questions before going in!!
Jo....glad you popped in. Gabrielle has a good thought....check to see if maybe insurance has some sort of support options....having someone to take to and help you sort through things in a logical manner might help the overwhelmed feelings. Hugs to you my dear friend.

Carole...I was so ready for TGIF!! It was a very long, crazy busy week for me.....Friday was just as busy as the rest of the week and as of the end of the day yesterday I was working on the last "Thursday" job.....will have more than enough to keep busy to start my day on Monday and we are always behind the 8-Ball on Monday!! Job security, right??? Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned....even if Zoe didn't come last night will be fun to have some alone Eden time!! I loved the corn maze pix....looks like the girls enjoyed it!! That's an early haircut....will admit I'd rather go after work one night instead of having to head back in on a Saturday!! WTG getting all the settlements finished up!!! Sounds like you were caught up enough that covering for Deb and a couple hours for Kaitlin was "no biggie" in the long run!! GREAT JOB on a great Thursday!!! Sounds like you might be finding a bit of a "routine" for tracking....
This Dutch Apple trip was the annual "Y Gymnastics Family" trip.....a few had to cancel but was still 14 of us.....definitely LOTS of changes thanks to COVID but still a very enjoyable night. We were supposed to see "Saturday Night Fever" but due to the cast size and limited numbers allowed in the facility......25% also includes the staff and actors/actresses so a smaller cast made way for more patrons. We saw "Million Dollar Quartet"....we had seen it when they did it in 2016 and were excited to see it again. I told everyone they would NOT be disappointed and they weren't!! Everyone loved it as much as Jason and I did. I was amazed how the performers switched seamlessly between the face shields to behind the plexi-glass protected microphones.....keeping fingers crossed nothing gets closed again before "Elf" in November with Sarah, Josh and the boys!!
Our county had a spike in cases last week thanks to testing all the prisoners and staff at the county prison.....There were 327 cases in the prison alone that week over several days so it looked terrible....since those all have been tallied the numbers are back down in the low 20's again so we are all good. There was never a fear with the spike since they were all in the same building.....only heard of a couple cases the past week in schools so seems the districts have figured out a safe routine and kids, staff and teachers are all doing well!!
Carole...I always laugh that you still have a full service gas station...there hasn't been one of those in our area in decades....the only time anyone pumped out gas was when Hannah lived in NJ and it was a law that you could NOT pump your own gas!!
Jo...glad the PCP appointment went well....sounds like he's willing to work with you and other doctors and giving you time to get things in order....glad the A1C is down...that's a good thing. I was on cholesterol meds for about a year a long time ago just to get things under control.....since I came off them they have stayed at my "normal" adult range...yes, my total cholesterol is higher but it always has been but the HDL is super high and LDL is low as it should be.....hopefully by the time you head back for the Hepatitis shot #3 things will be good and you can go off it!! You've got this....one day at a time....
Gabrielle...sounds like an early bedtime was just what you needed!! Never heard of a "drifting class" but sounds like something Max will enjoy!! WOW....4:00am on a Saturday sounds too early to me!! LOL!! Hey there...tracking on those "not so good" days is part of the process!! Glad you did!!
Carole...sometimes this journey is not all about the scale....feeling the difference in your pants is a GREAT indicator that something is going right!!
Carole...I woke to 39° this morning....WAY too cold for us in mid-September.....yes, apple picking w/o snow is a good thing!! Glad you did go along to the "Flashlight Friday".....glad you could "warm up" in the tub after the chilly night!!
Christine...figured you are just crazy busy with the start of the new school year and contract work....have to admit I had having to wait for others to get me their stuff so I can finish my reports.....
Jason left a bit ago for Colton's football game...I just didn't feel like going so I opted for hanging out here and enjoying some peace....he will likely be home by the time I leave for painting.....after the game he will stop at the lot to pick tomatoes and check on the broccoli and cauliflower.....he has been in "de-worming" mode lately....seems odd this time of year, that is usually a spring problem but so far he is keeping ahead of them!!
Doubt I will be back after painting so have a great evening....see you in the morning....
Waves to Jenny, Lisa, Shelly, Nadine and anyone else I might have missed! Hope all are well!!
