Does anyone have the Black and Decker toaster oven with air fryer. I use my toaster oven all the time and only have space for one thing.

Sirloin steak: pat dry, season, spritz with olive oil and cook at 400 for 3 minutes, flip and go another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare (more on the rare side - go another 1 minute per side for more medium).

Non-slimy okra: 12 or 16oz bag frozen okra -do not thaw! pre-heat the air fryer to 360 for 5 minutes, then spray the basket lightly with cooking spray. Toss the frozen okra in and spritz lightly and salt. Cook for 8 minutes, shake basket and cook another 4-6 minutes until the okra is slightly browning. No slime!

I am still deciding if I want an air fryer. I hardly fry anything so I'm interested to hear the things you're cooking in this.
Also, what features should I look for when shopping for one? Nu Wave and GoWise are the top 2 rated fryers with Consumer Reports.
Thanks!

linda72 I went with the Power XL Pro Plus air fryer because it's more like an oven.It has 3 shelves and you can bake and roast and other things besides air fry. I haven't gotten it out of the box yet but will next week.I have to make room on my counter first because it's pretty big. My regular oven doesn't work so I think DH got tired of hearing me complain about not having a working oven.LOL.

No question. Skinnytaste Chicken Parm. Awesome. 9 minutes.
DH does lobster tails in our air fryer now instead of on a mat on the gas grill . So mush easier. Less cleanup. No compromise at all in taste or texture.
Home made French fries. Enough for both of us using a larger russet potato.
Chicken wings.
Frozen potstickers. I used to first microwave them a bit then pan fry. Messy messy. Now in the air fryer, totally mess free and just as good.
Hard boiled eggs. I always use the air fryer now.
Also great for leftovers. We used to bring home restaurant leftovers like half a burger and fries and then toss because the reheated version never lived up to the first time. In the air fryer you can capture that first time around taste/texture.
We got ours from QVC. Advice. Donβt get a small one because you think itβs just the two of you. We got a bigger one and itβs never TOO big.

Little pioneer woman, Thanks for all your information on foods to cook in an air fryer. What are some good sources for recipes, amounts of food and cooking time? Thanks!

I have this air fryer from Amazon, Ninja Air Fryer that Cooks, Crisps and Dehydrates, with 4 Quart Capacity; read the many reviews. Thought about buying an oven type, but after reading so many reviews on different brands, I chose the Ninja, and have been very pleased.

Anyone ever reheat pizza in it? Absolutely! It also does a perfect hash brown, just like Mc'Ds.
