I'm IN.
Prayers are going up for those in the path of fire and storm(s), and a few extra for all students... whether IRL, virtual, or hybrid...

Cool again (upper-40*s heading for the mid-60*s) and sunny. The YM have a color guard at 2 PM (our township is holding a remembrance ceremony for residents who died during the spring months but couldn't have proper funerals due to pandemic gathering restrictions). It will be outdoors at the summer stage area, just like the 9/11 service was.
Yesterday at The Plantation was FABULOUS. We not only helped Son#2 get high dead branches off a massive tree that will be taken down next month, we also took down four saplings and four larger-caliper trees. He's happy - we're happy (and achy and sunburned, but who cares?). And we had all three of DaBoyz here overnight; the Kressling's sleeping in the recliner and K'ling2 and the Zigster are in the guest room.
Time for coffee... βββ... then I'll air out my work boots and tuck them away until next time...

Good morning. It's a beautiful day here but that will soon change as we prepare for rain this week with storm "Beta". We could use a little rain but I don't want to see 10" in a day so I'm hoping that doesn't happen. diva49, it's so nice you and Toots could help Son #2 with the trees. Hopefully, you can relax today. No other plans for today so I'll spend the time relaxing. I'm IN and planned and tracked. Hope everyone has a good day.

Seeing photos from the Bluewater highway at Surfside already under water. That's about 8 miles from us, and it's high tide. I think 2020 has shown our weather experts that they need to update their formulas lol.

MJ - I know yesterday and today are your favorite kind of days. Enjoy!!! Hi Linda and Rene I just made 6 cups of pesto and still have both green and purples basil in the garden that I will use in other ways. The oregano has bolted so I'll just cut that down until next year. Still have tons of chives, peppermint and thyme. Also picked peppers and eggplant.

DotRen, good luck. I hope you only get a little rain. The clouds are starting out here but we're not expected to get much rain. Fingers crossed for all of us.

Iβm in. Iβm smiling as I see blue sky out my window which is a break from the clouds and smog. Even the mountains can be seen which is a good thing. KOKO will be key as I track every bite, lick and taste. Iβm hydrating and focusing on water. Iβm house walking and doing my stretches. Iβm reminding myself to keep smiling and talking positively to myself. Have a good afternoon everyone.

linda72 had to put the gutter back together (the contractors never attached it. (1 screw at the very top then nothing holding everything together below that for a two story house, ONE SCREW! It came crashing down and scared the @$#& outta me π) plus some other work in the yard to get ready for Beta, it was raining the whole time.
