Great goals June. Enjoy your soup. I've seen that mix before but never tried it. Hope it's tasty.
Bee I'll join you in being aware. Enjoy your soup as well.
Speaking of soup I'll be putting mine on when I go to bed and let it cook through the night.
Wishing all a good sleep. Prayers continue.

I used to give the bean soup mix as gifts to friends. Itβs pretty layered in a mason jar and probably a great Christmas gift as we continue to shelter. June and Ann, enjoy your soups. I will PTMH and get in a long morning walk. I have Zoom rock and roll from 10-11:30 βThe Pioneers of Rock: Little Richard, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and Buddy Hollyβ The first class is probably on Little Richard since class meets for 5 weeks. I will go to the running shoe store for a 1:30 appointment. Dinner is finally the leftover Costco stuffed peppers with roasted asparagus and salad.

I will stay strong as I slog along.
Scale was up (182)after maintaining at 180.6 for a few days Must be a plateau since I am following the program
Food: Today will make up the okra with onion, garlic and homemade tomato sauce. We have leftover rice so it can be the base under the okra. Also have white bean hummus and some leftover vegetable soup so see a wrap using the hummus and some veggies with a bowl of soup.
Talked to our granddaughter last night. Sent them a photo of some art of their father's when he was their age and a photo of him with a kitten sleeping on his chest as he napped. I guess he is anti-pets as he gets older...never was that way before so???
Tomorrow we plan to go grocery shopping and will be careful. Highest covid-19 number yesterday at over 1006 new cases. I see a trend upward and not down. We need some produce variety, bread, cheeses and other things.
SHORTS: I was thinking about wearing them in winter...or a kilt. I think it would be cold BUT then again...women wear/wore skirts in winter for a LONG time. I remember a "snow suit" of wool that I wore to elementary school in Iowa. It had pants with suspenders that I tucked my skirt into with a coat on top...
AUDREY: do you take online courses often or is it a new activity this year? How fun to have time with Nora!
MJ: Sounds nice to have had your grandsons there to spend the night.
ANN: Well, scale was UP today...it will go down when it is ready. You are lucky your husband wouldn't miss items from his closet! I tried to neaten my husband's clothing one time and never heard the end of it. Now, if it is a mess, it stays a mess and I am glad it is not in the same room as my things!
JUNE: The Russian friend that used to shop for us and stopped (when hubby decided we should do our own shopping) posts on Facebook and Instagram and has dropped a LOT of weight. She is only 40 so in a different place in her life than most of the rest of the Wednesday women. She is really getting thin and do hope she doesn't get TOO thin! She is still posting photos of herself in bars and on beaches acting like the pandemic is not real? I am EAGER to get some produce. We have a lot from the garden BUT it gets repetitive and fruit is minimal right now, too.
BEE: I wonder if there are any winter squash in the market? If so, I might buy one...also some sweet potatoes. I am ready for a change and those sound good to me. I have some lentils in the leftover soup but not many.
SUSI: I think our garden is nearly kaput for the plants still out there. Hubby has planted some new ones but it will take awhile. Eggplant sounds good to me...
PAM: Here's to blue skies and blue dots and great big smiles for miles!
BECKY: Looked online to see what air fryers cost these days and they are nearly five hundred dollars...guess who will NOT be buying one!

Good morning all. Another great sleeping night. Feeling blessed. Again cooler temps. 33 right now! Cathy LOL Carl just isn't that observant when it comes to certain things. So, in that respect, I'm happy Great attitude for not letting the gain derail your efforts. Nice you got to chat with your family and sent those pictures of DH. Hope you find all you need grocery shopping. Audrey enjoy. Love stuffed peppers. That sounds like a tasty meal. Hope the running shoe store appointment is successful. Oh I bet that soup layered in a mason jar would look very pretty. Thanks for that wonderful suggestion. I have a few good neighbors that I shall do that for. Becky hope it doesn't rain on your parade. Good luck with shopping and PT. My soup is all sectioned out and put away. Waving...and will CBL

Today I've got a urologist appointment at 11:15 AM and then we have an appointment at Bank of America at 12:30 PM. We are taking the General & Durable POA and the POA docs from Lakeland and Wells Fargo (to demonstrate that this is an ongoing process). We're hoping to get Russ' credit card thing settled today, and we have NO intention of "driving up to get the card". Do YOUR banks want appointments for customer service-related issues? All the ones around here do.
Yesterday's YM color guard went well. There was a strong wind and the flags looked beautiful but were definitely a handful for the YM flag-bearers.
And we finally returned DaBoyz to the loving arms of their parents at 7:45 PM. We'd have left a bit earlier but the Zigster (a bottomless pit) was hungry again. It was good to have them around and they enjoyed themselves.
Time for coffee... βββ...
π»ππππ»ππππ»ππππ» Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! π»ππππ»ππππ»ππππ»

Looking forward to a business retirement dinner on Wednesday at a restaurant I have wanted to try for years but simply can't justify the cost.

Good morning
Am at a point where I can justify a break. Have carefully considered all the curricular design elements and common names sense adjustments to tapeaching online to student population who works and is dealing with a pandemic. Am pretty pleased with all the "noodling." The upside is that this part of the learning curve will pay off when I write the next two tests.
Am going for a longer walk after zi say "howdy."
Susi Sweet! Love that you can dine on someone else's dime at a restaurant that you always wanted to experience. Oh. . . It is nice that you can be a part of someone else's happy occasion.
Pam Did tracking the BLTs help you feel more aware? Give yourself credit for every babystep!
Mj Best wishes for the urology appt. I think that is the way with our bank. I just have had very little need for any special services. I love the sound and image of a flag snapping in the wind. LOL. . . almost every one of my nieces & nephews (and their friends) were eating machines. It was fun to feed them.
Beta TS- many prayers to Bee & Becky that your area is spared by this storm system.
LaDonna Thinking of you enjoying Edisto.
Cathy Oh. . . Lisa reminds me of some of my relatives and neighbor. So nice of you to send the special photographs to your DGDs.
Becky I started to look into buying an air fryer. Let me know how you like yours. Hope that the weather does not stop you & Kenneth from dining out for your anniversary.
Bee Hope that today is one of peace and contement. Hope Beta behaves!
Audrey Enjoy your Zoom class. Are you allowed to share any recipes?
Ann Hope that you & your crew can enjoy a pleasant hood walk or two!.

June, happy to hear that you feel justified in taking a break. Nobody has ever had to twist my arm for that LOL. My dear uncle described me to a T when he used to tell my mom "Ann works hard and plays hard" Our walk to get the mail was profitable. We got a check back for 'over payment' on our vehicle insurance. I think it was due to the fact that we paid them off for the year as we already got the COVID payment awhile back. In any case, it was very well received It's beautiful out there. Carl just left to mow Carol's lawn. I have started to wash and fold more summery clothing items to put in the sealing bags for the season. Not a fun job for sure and I take many breaks in between. I'll be happy when it's all done. That won't all happen today, though, as I need help from Carl. My heavy lifting days are long gone. Later.....

Cathy, I took classes in person at Fresno State before this year. Now I donβt have to worry about the cross town drive or fighting for a parking spot. June, I posted the baba ganoush recipe on Facebook.
