179.2 - barely into the new decade and it may be a sneak peek before it goes up again BUT it is mine...I claim it! I still might have a high point day today as planned and take the up tomorrow knowing it will also shake up my metabolism.
We are shopping and I know it will take a couple of hours with all hubby has on the to-do list!
CHERRY: If you got to town early for the dental appointment did you walk or read or shop or???
BEVERLY: Hooray for closing the kitchen at 7:30...glad you feel better doing so. How do you dry herbs in the oven?
LYNN: Your daughter should put the 60 dollars aside for something special when you drive instead of her forking it out for an uber. Just a thought. I can see that the drive in would be fun and give you more time with your daughter, too.
PAM: Hope all is well with you!

Good morning. I didn't get started quite as early as I had planned, but still had plenty of time. Traffic was stopped for about 10-15 min. on the way in but I still got there in plenty of time. I was about 20 min. early. My daughter called right when I got there so I talked with her until it was time to go in. Otherwise I would have read some news articles on my phone. I have another appointment today at noon. This morning I am making hand lotion for my son. I am almost ready to get started on it, so this is going to be a quick post.
Have a nice day, Beaches.

Good morning friends,
Much congratulations to all who are losing!!! You guys are rocking it!!!
Yesterday, I gathered quite a bit of basil & parsley, after stripping it from it's stalks and cleaning it, I had 4 cookie sheets to dry. 3 basil & 1 parsley. I couldn't believe how little it made when it was finished! I only had 1 very small container of parsley & a slightly larger one of basil. I was hoping to make about 4 containers of each, so that I could share them with family, but that will take a lot more doing. I will finish stripping the plants bald and see what I can make. It is fun to do & smells wonderful. I just simply lay them single file on the cookie sheet. Dry them on 175 deg for about 1 1/2 hr to 2 hrs, then just crumble it up with your hands.
I have a dentist appt this afternoon. It is just local, so no big deal.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Cathy...wonderful news on the WL...congrats!!
I was able to find a parking spot by my daughter's apartment and was able to go in and see it. It is a studio but she has it set up so cute...It's a beautiful building well kept...modern...beautiful elevator...laundry room...She has a new kitchen and bathroom and lovely floors...The door man was so nice too...I feel very good about her living there. She bought a beautiful rug when she was up by us, but it is a bit too small so she will have to get a larger one. Her new bed and couch are very nice and comfortable and she has some of my mother's furniture that mixes in nicely..
Well, I have a zoom Board of directors meeting in a bit, so I have to get ready...
Have a good day, my friends!!
