TAKE TIME TUESDAY... Taking the time to TRACK... to MOVE... to PLAN... whatever you need time FOR... Just.Do.It.! YOU deserve to TAKE time for YOU! I TOOK Time this morning to get my oils order finished up - now taking time to catch up here with you ladies ♥
Yesterday we DID have a frost - not bad - not sure about today, too dark to see out there yet! Yesterday it (only) warmed up to the mid 60s! This is not the autumn I was looking for - this is too cold, too soon! This weekend I have to pull out some F/W sweaters and long sleeve tops. I guess it IS "time"! The weather is certainly not helping my mood! LOL
I tracked pretty much my day yesterday - have to go back and tweak dinner... just a couple things I forgot to pre-track... like corn! I had forgotten that I got some Saturday, wanted to use it up before it went bad! I saw it, and figured corn season is almost over, so have to add the corn and butter!
Ken didn't have a meeting last night - so he helped me scoop squash, got enough for a batch of soup and probably three meals from the 4 we had to cook, so that's worth the $8.00!
Work went fine - nothing left in my inbox for today! Even worked on my review again! Now time for more coffee - be right back to catch up ♥

Well - MONDAY MINDSET went well - I did add a few other things in my day... had cherry tomatoes for a snack, and the corn, and some wine... need to adjust the tracker, but it should be fine??!! HA! But I fell short on the 22 minutes of activity - but I have begun parking as far down the parking lot as I can, so I get extra steps going to and from work. I know - NOT ENOUGH! Someday!
Sue: YAY For back on track... You've got this!
Gabrielle: YAY! You really REALLY are going?? WOO HOO!! Hey GF cut yourself some slack - with YOUR SCHEDULE HOW would you fit much more in??? Our trees have started to turn - not so much here in our yard, but I notice them on the drive home from work! LOL I might be using the fleece sheets sooner rather than later her - it is downright COLD these nights!
Kathy says she is doing OK... I know she is still sore, because she walks with her hand up, almost like her arm is in a sling - (but it's not) so I imagine it's the pain/stiffness from the surgery? She goes this week to be fitted for a prothesis. She did say (to my sister) somedays she wonders if it's worth it - maybe she ought to just give up and let it take her! then here the other day she said IF I have radiation - and when asked don't you HAVE to have it? She said ultimately it's HER decision!
HA! Glad I could help motivate others for a Monday Mindset... kind of a "do as I say, not as I do" scenario!
Oh for heaven's sake...lol... yeah, I'd be losing patience too! We are just in cubicles - so tell them to be thankful they have an office! There are so many protocols in place - no one would make them return to an unsafe environment!
So this TIME OFF you are taking... how much "work-work" will you have to do while you are gone?? I hope you can just unplug and recharge for a couple of days anyway!!

OK Take Time Tuesday, means I need to take time to make tuna... this time I really do NOT have chicken to use up in the fridge! So - Tuesday: Water on the drive to and from work B: Tea w/ protein powder S: Cherry tomatoes L: Salad w/ tuna, light mayo, Italian dressing S: Apple D: Pork Chop, potato, veggies - SELTZER
OK Guess now I can take time to track my day - and tweak yesterday and move forward!!
♥hugs♥

Morning Carole and all to come....another chilly morning but our "warm up" begins today!! When I talked to Hannah last night it was 86° still at 6:00pm her time....I'm so jealous!!
Will be back to catch up after Cubii time....did 32 minutes last night...striving for 30 minutes M-F and maybe some bonus time on weekends....that will give me the 150 minutes I challenged myself with after Christine mentioned it!! I can do it!!
Gotta run...my lunchbox won't fill itself!!

Good morning!
Decided to stay home and do the TM for my "Track Tuesday" since the workout was pretty routine. I have a 7-hour webinar today...can you believe that? 7 hours! Anyway, it starts at 8:00 am. I am going to have to find a way to get up and move every now and then...a lot of listening for sure. Yesterday went okay...over my bites though because I came home and DH had dry roasted peanuts on the counter. Who knows why, but I sat down and had some of them...should have measured them but guessed. I love salty things like that and was a bit stressed at the time (the main reason I mindlessly eat). Oh well, today is a new day!
Carole: I can't imagine having an empty inbox....I don't think I have ever had that except when I was a teacher. Last night DH asked me to sit down with him and our financial planner (the fellow lives in CO so it is a Zoom) and I kind of got excited thinking about retirement! The planner is asking things like, "How much do you want to have each year for vacations?" I love thinking about that (sigh)...I did check online and my retirement is still on track for 2023-24. I will be 60 and I have a separate account to pay for medical until I qualify for Medicare. DH will qualify. Kind of exciting to think about! Wow, here you are thinking of the cold and I am craving it! It is still smokey here Yes, the trip is a "go" and yesterday my mom asked if I planned to see my other sister since she told her I was coming down. So, here we go....the other sister has two sons who she dotes on and home schools and it will all be about how we can fit a visit in on their schedule. Plus they have been going to the beach and everything else. I did text her last night to say that I am laying low, but maybe we could plan a visit. I just don't have this burning desire to be around 15 people at once from southern CA....uggh. Oh well, it will work out somehow. I wish she could just go for a walk with us or something but she will need to bring the boys (she doesn't do anything without them). I am so sorry about Kathy and hope that she can find a way to do what she needs to be there for Patti....really, it makes me so sad for Patti now! I hope that Kathy's treatment is successful....Hey, good job parking a ways from work to get in some steps! I hope that you have a good day today!

Sue: How great to hear from Hannah and have some time to visit! I don't know about Hannah, but I am ready for Fall ---you guys can have the hot weather! Hope that you have a good day--good job on the Cubii. That was such a good investment for you!
Hello to all who follow....wondering if Shelly is back from her trip to see Clayton? I hope that it was a good getaway. I need to get moving and get ready to sit for a while! LOL, I am going to get everything together for my lunch--even though it is at home, I find that I am better sticking to my plan if it is ready to go. Have a good day friends!

Evening all...Cubii time done...chicken cooked, chopped and cooling so I can make some chicken salad for lunch tomorrow...need to plan ahead a bit....
Now back to Sunday to finish catching up!!
Carole...WOW, you slept in until 8:00am...that rarely happens!! Glad the meal for Sunday was easier than expected...glad your sister's pitched in and you had done the pork the day before so you only had to sauce it and warm it up in the crockpot!! Will be curious to see if you McDonald's was as bad as my Chili's dinner?!? Eating out is a challenge until you get the hang of what is a good choice and what is DEFINITELY not!! Yes indeed....any app or program only works when you use it faithfully...I am trying to get back in the swing...seem to do OK during the week so far and fall apart on the weekend....will need to focus more this weekend....with no plans to be eating out I should be able to reign it in a bit....
Yes...Lacey is the painting instructor but Lynne's DDIL is Lacey as well. It was a fun night...I don't often do Halloween projects but this one on the slate was cute and different....figured I can set it outside on the front stoop for the month.... No, those were not your slates but believe it or not, yours are the exact same size....it's deceiving!! I asked Lacey to plan a winter project for the ones you sent.....something snowy that is not Christmas, just winter!!
LOL...I LOVE good scallop potatoes....my Gram, Dad's mom, used to make the best....my DM made TERRIBLE ones so I always try a little and these reminded me of Gram's!! It's funny, everyone raved about them so I know it was not just me!!
Yes it is time to get those wills and insurance beneficiaries updated.....I know Patti will be touched you have planned to include her in light of Matt's death..... Well, Shelburne is just a "stones throw" from your house, much better then heading all the way back into Greenfield. Yes, If Saturday was my only choice it is nice to get it done and over with so you don't chop up the day!!
WTG Carole on focusing on you after Kaitlin left....good idea to get your review tackled and hopefully you got it pretty much finished up!! Oh....at DA we actually were at 3 tables. If you are all the same party they will sit 8 at the same table...8 is the biggest table but we were on 2 levels and all the tables were 6 feet apart. Before if you were only a party of 4 and they had to sit you at a bigger table, you could have another party of 4 on the other end but with COVID, they don't mix parties. The only people in the group I have seen since March are Lynne and Vonnie because they work at Sheridan....some of them are retired and haven't really left the house in months...others have been working from home and due to aging parents, grandkids and other people they need to keep safe, they have been very cautious and attentive to restrictions so we all felt comfortable getting together.
Yes, it could be the spike from the prison numbers that put PA back on your "no travel list"...since all those numbers have been accounted for, the numbers are way back down again where they were. I get it...aside from NC for Thanksgiving and NE for Christmas...we have no plans either. Nebraska is back on our no travel list again....so frustrated but keeping the faith that by Christmas they will be back off or at least I can go to Hannah's, stay in her house and NOT have to quarantine when I come back. Some have mentioned that when you talk to HR and let them know where you are going and why, they will wave the quarantine....so will see what they say in a few months...we don't leave until 12/23.
We have not had frost at our house yet, we don't usually because we are so high and there is usually an air going that saves us but there was a really heavy frost as I got closer to 216 in the hollows.....
LOL Carole...sorry I am laughing at the visual of you dropping the squash and the look you had on your face when it happened....glad the timing worked that Ken could get it cooked and won't go to waste. Butternut squash really hold well...we have them into the spring...just keep them in a cool place but not that they can be frozen....Yes Carole, Jason is the same way with selling veggies...he'd rather sell them cheaper so that nothing gets wasted than to see them just rot....
Jenny...SO GLAD the rains finally came your way!! Hopefully this was a big help with not only the smoke/air quality but also getting the fires under control!! How nice to get a "bonus" 3 day weekend!! Fingers crossed the fridge will fit w/o having to take out a cabinet!! so glad Audrey had finally started classes and LOVES her new room.. Always bittersweet to change the room from little girl, to teenager, to young adult....why must our kids grow up so quickly???

Carole...glad you didn't lose your "mindset" over the weekend...I did on Saturday but got back on track for Sunday!! Been doing pretty well this week so I'll same I'm on a successful stretch right now!! Hope it lasts! YAY for the motivating fly-by under the "dreaded" number....mine was motivating too on Monday but will see Thursday if my focus and Cubii is paying off!!
I had to laugh this afternoon I said to Gloria..."I upped the tension on my Cubii yesterday and my butt cheeks are starting to hurt"...she quickly responded with "but it's a good hurt, right???"! I didn't back down the tension today so I can "feel it" but can't stop....must keep pedaling!!! Great idea to uncover the E and use it to "warm you up" on these chilly mornings!! I can't complain about our house...even with the temps overnight in the 30's and highs of maybe 63° our house is still 71°...tomorrow since the temps are to be in the 50's overnight the next few days and temps near 80° the next couple days I'll open some windows for a blast of fresh air....
YAY for Tim filling all the water sleeves and getting the pool DONE!! Sounds like everyone left early enough that you had some time to wind down and get ready for the new week w/o dishes. Advantage that you don't like football so you have time to work on clean up!! I'm glad Patti is making sure that Zoe spends time with Matt's family....she does know that SHE too is family and always welcome.....being with all of you will continue to keep Matt "alive" to Zoe.....soon she will ask questions and you can share pictures and memories that will stick with her and help her to really "know" her daddy!!
YES.....laundry day was a success and I even folded the last load and have anything I'm not wearing or using this week for work hung or put in a drawer!! Now to keep it that way!! Wish me luck...I go well for a while then it gets ahead of me and next thing you know the stack is out of control!!
Carole...yes, we keep a lot of winter squash, as a matter of fact, Jason just made me go out and look at the 2020 butternut haul....he had already brought home 6 a week or so ago and there are still 2 left in the patch but he brought home 13 more...we have plenty to last the winter!! I might be wrong but I had the impression Christine was saying Cheryl had zucchini and we all know that is NOT good to freeze. Even shredding it for zucchini bread it gets so watery!!
Gabrielle....so excited that you will be heading "south" to see your DS. Glad your added focus to tracking seems to be helping....I have 62 minutes toward my 150 for the week....I CAN do it!! OK, not sure I could do flannel sheets yet with your temps...we even still have T-shirt sheets on our bed...another month and turning the heat on is usually my switch to flannel!! LOL!! Yes, it does feel good to get a few of the decluttering tasks done!! Aside from Hannah being ready for Shea to come home to have another adult in the house she is fine....with the better "virtual" learning this fall Sarah is handling it better. She does struggle with Kellen because he is JUST LIKE HER!!
Waves Shelly, Lisa, Jo, Nadine, Christine and anyone else I may have missed....time to share the computer and settle in for a bit of relaxing before an early night....hoping to sleep more soundly tonight...slept well until I got up to pee at 2:23, then tossed and turned until after 4:00....can't do that again tonight...I was yawning at 2:30 this afternoon! LOL!!
