Good morning and Happy Tuesday.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.

Good morning. I looked at the calendar and I can't believe it is almost Oct. In 8 days I turn 50 years old. I feel like that is such a milestone. I always imagined 50 as old and I don't really feel old. I feel older LOL my body definitely feels old. I decided on my drive into work today that I am not going to complain today to anyone EXCEPT to the cable company. I am leaving work today after a conference call at noon to go to the local office of the cable/internet company. I have no idea if it will do any good or not but I won't know unless I try. Lora I am so glad your visit went well and you enjoyed it. I am glad you enjoyed your pizza and so happy they had an option you could try. As far as the washer goes, my DS and his friend moved it for us on Saturday. We did not put new rubber gaskets on both ends of the hose, hmmmmm. The drain pipe was pushed all the way into the outlet drain. The water appeared to be coming from underneath the washer. I think the drum over flowed and that is how/why it was on the floor. None of the walls were wet and the baseboard was damp and not soaked. Really, compared to the amount of water left in the washer, there wasn't that much on the floor comparatively speaking LOL. Now I just need to get those wet towels washed and dried. DH has called a repair person who is going to give us an estimate to fix it. Lora how fun that the inlaws are coming for football but sorry you have to go through so much work for them to spend the night. I am sure it will all be worth it Robin good for you tackling one stressor at a time and getting them off your plate. I hope your plants made it through the frost. I am not sure what the temp was here this morning but when I took the dogs out at 5 a.m. it was CHILLY. Janet woo hoo for a day with less issues with your partner. Hopefully it is a trend that will set everything in the right direction with her. I am glad your tub did not overflow, trust me that is not a mess that is fun to clean up You really do have a situation with your friend. It definitely sounds like she needs more help than you can provide. I know you will make the right decision for you and for her. Waving to all that I missed. I hope your Tuesday is as amazing as all of you are

Good Afternoon Everyone...got up and off for my annual mammogram. I have nothing now until I have to pick up my MDGD at 3:00 from her private school, so I think I will go outside in the sunshine and read for a bit.
Jana - decades are always milestones...when I was a kid, I thought 40 was REALLY old - now that seems so young to me - lol! I think all we can do is fight it every step of the way in any way we can (eat better, exercise, have peaceful thoughts, etc) --- you know, the kind of things we help one another with here. I hope the washer is an easy fix.
