Good morning, SEPTEMBER FREEDOMS!
FREEDOM to mess up: Connie, WPA FREEDOM to be myself: Diane, OK FREEDOM to choose joy: Molly, MO FREEDOM to camp: Lucy, NTX FREEDOM to be honest: Cat, OR SEPTEMBER memories: Sue, MT FREEDOM to stop stressing: Sandy, IL FREEDOM to be independent: Jenny, CA FREEDOM to sleep better: Kathie in CA FREEDOM to enjoy life: Doris in NE
Nancy in IL Linda in CO
QOTD: What one thing would you like to do every day?
I vote for October Golden Harvest.
Helen, I join the others in wishing you (now) a belated Happy Birthday! Thank you, too, for keeping us in the loop for our friends.
Jenny, there is usually a place that provides equipment such as you mentioned free to those who need it. Here, they do it with the understanding that it will be returned when it is no longer needed. Your county's health department would probably have a list of places like that.
I lost the beginning post, and I'm not going to attempt to remember all of it. If you see it floating out in cyber space, please capture it, and let me know!
Hugs and prayers for each of you! ~~Molly

I'm not going to vote. I can't think enough to vote. When I say Golden Harvest nothing comes to my mind it doesn't conjure up any image or anything to me I must be brain dead. I think I'm all thought out. I'll just go with whatever topic you choose.
Susan came this afternoon instead of this morning and that is much easier for me because morning is my best time to sleep so I felt a little more rested today. Still too much pain to move but I sat and did a lot of things. I sorted out a lot of papers and tossed them and kept some and organized them. Susan got all the medical equipment out of the bathroom and the bedroom she took it out and put it in the storage shed and we'll work on that later but first things first. Tomorrow she will take me to the doctor and then on Thursday we will put the curtain rods up and try to get the curtains up they have been down since they painted the living room in early April. I will be so glad to get them back up..... my living room has just looked unfinished since then
Happy belated birthday Helen I didn't even see where it was your birthday sorry I am late. I hope you had a good day.
Thank you everyone for the suggestions on what to do with the medical equipment. I like the hospice idea so will contact them and see if they need them. Susan will also contact her church and see if they have any ideas. I just want them to go to people who need them.
I finished up all my leftovers in the refrigerator. I've eaten the same thing for the last 3 nights but I don't care. Sometimes I like leftovers sometimes I don't this time they were good and I didn't mind eating them but tomorrow I'll have to think of something else.

Jenny I wouldn’t worry about voting for the theme as plenty of others will. You need to take time to get things done that need to get done and worry about the rest later. God only knows you have had to deal with a lot and just need to breathe.
When Fred got home from golf yesterday he just didn’t look right so I asked if he was okay and he said no as I’m having real bad stomach cramps. I told him to go lay down but he sat there for a while until he finally took my advice and slept for about three hours and then felt fine. He thinks it might have been dehydration from sitting in the jury room Monday for four hours and there was nothing to drink. Or it could have been the water on the golf course as he said it’s normally cold but this time it was lukewarm. But he isn’t golfing today which is normal as he doesn’t golf two days in a row anymore as it tires him out too much.
We have to get groceries today as well. I think Debbie might stop by later as she said she will be in town to meet up with some friends for dinner. I think that’s nice that with her and Jim they do a lot together but she has no problem with him having time with just his friends and vice versa. That was always an issue with Jeff as he resented her spending time with friends as he only had one friend and felt Debbie needed to cut ties with hers. I was surprised when everything came to a head to hear how he manipulated her since she has a masters in counseling but she said it made her realize you don’t always see it when you are living it.
Going to be a little warmer today but still very comfortable and then only in the 60’s next week.

Good Wednesday morning!
Yesterday was quite cool, as the temp never got out of the 60s. Today it was 63Âş as we drove out to get our Wednesday Waffle. That little treat was as bgood as usual. Since the cafe has changed ownership, I hope they continue with the same recipes. They say they plan to.
It was still dark when we got home, so we waited till it was lighter to go for our walk. There is something in the air this morning that made it hard for us to breathe, so we are probably in for the rest of the day. My starter isn't quite bubble enough, so it will be later that I bake. I wait till it is bubbly all over. There were only a few bubbles this morning.
I cannot get my photos to transfer from my computer into the scrapbook program I bought!!!~!!~ I messed with it yesterday till I was frustrated and had to give up. Darn! I have somehow lost the photos I had printed. Double darn! See why I think I have quarantine brain? I think I'll send the order to Walgreens again, and see what happens. I'll try to use them as soon as we pick them up.
Thinking of you all and praying for your safety and health. Hugs! Diane

Hi again!
AOTD: I would like to be able to walk at least a mile every day.
Sandy, you are probably right about Fred's being dehydrated. Leaving him alone in that room with no one else was really a mistake. Surely, that aide was supposed to dismiss him right away, and forgot to do so. So glad Fred perked up after some good rest.
Connie, do you really think we're going to have a tie? It appears that all of us have voted for October Golden Harvest. The field crops are all turning golden all the way to northern MO. It was so fun to see all the little corn plants and soy bean plants breaking ground and growing into rows. Now, when they are harvested, winter will overtake the land.
Diane, I sent a private message -- would love to hear all about your scrapbooking computer program!
Lucy posted a pretty picture, but I don't see a message!
BBL! ~~Molly

I'm sorry I didn't post a message. I listened to Through the Bible. Bill called then son called. I got my sheets washed and in the drier. Put another load in the washer then left to walk Bearly. Just never opened my laptop again. Bill came and we played rumicub. Then he napped in his chair while I got lunch on the table. We played another round of rumicub then did some of our Silver Sneakers exercises and he left for home. I cleaned up the dishes, put the sheets on my bed. So I have been busy.
What would I like to do daily? Walk my Bearly a mile.
Resting now.

No I didn't think there would be a tie but lately seems like everyone just jumps on the band wagon afraid there will not be any other votes. I wanted to be sure that everyone knew that there could be a tie at any point.
So I am calling it today at GOLDEN HARVEST and it is a pretty name. Already many of our fields are really golden as the front has not killed things off. Leaves are starting to change and my sugar maple is really showing a lot of red right now.
Jenny don't worry about the little stuff, we are okay with you not feeling like picking a name for either month or yourself. We do understand and we don't want you to stress the little stuff. You have enough things to worry about.
So THE Question of the day is:: When it is chilly do you prefer a sweat shirt , a long sleeved tshirt , or a cute jacket. ? I really am not a sweat shirt type of person so will have to say a cute jacket and a long sleeved blouse like top. A sweat shirt gets too warm for me as the day goes on so It is usually not my pick. Today it was a short sleeved dressier tshirt type of top, Black with a lot of buttons down the front, but a pull over. no jacket and sure didn't need one as it got to 70 today. I do carry a jean's jacket in my car right now and it is bright red.
I didn't drive and I sat in the back seat of the car. We did wear masks at all times out of the car. Stores were small ones and we separated with masks on to shop in the areas we needed and met up front in the check out area. We went to Eat N Park for lunch and I was okay. only took off mask while we ate. No check out area , the waitress did it all. By the way I had an omelet and a small bowl of cantaloupe , honey dew melon, grapes , and pineapple chunks. Masks required in the rest rooms or walking to the table and restroom. Used hand sanitizer coming in and going out. washed my hands when I got home.
Best place was the greenhouse for mum bushes. Only us in there and they guy that owns it. Down to just mums plants and they are not in bloom yet but you can see the color it is going to be. Will leave them here until they open a bit more and then will take the two that go to my DDs. Nice of my friend to drive as I am still dealing with a stiff neck. hoping to get to pharmacy to pick up the prescriptions that are ready for me. and maybe grocery store tomorrow.
Kathie, thanks for the tuck in. I needed the blanket last night on the couch. Was reading and got chilly!!

AOTD: I prefer to layer. Like today I have on a long sleeve tee, then a 3/4 sleeve length top over it. When I walked Bearly I put on a long sleeved shirt over everything.

What fun today! Two questions!
The thing I would most like to do every day is work on my scrapbooks!
As for staying comfy in what I wear -- I like a tee shirt and then a long sleeved shirt over it. As the weather cools down, I like the shirt to be flannel!
Hugs! Diane

My basic outfit is a sleeveless mock turtleneck under a larger shirt. Black dress pants and black socks with black Sketchers.
Diane, did you find the photographs? Did you have them before the move?
Sue, you seemed to have something come up as you were posting. Hope all is well!
We had new gutters put on the house today. They have a filter on the top to keep leaves and other trash out.
Had my nails done, Connie. They are a rust color -- to go with fall. Almost missed the appointment because I waited a full hour on the phone for CenturyLink to answer. They never did. The Internet is shutting down quickly when I stop using it; so I'm having to use my network settings and select our wi-fi address each time I need something that is on the Internet.
Also, I found baskets at Aldi's that fit on the shelves of my new bathroom cabinet. In fact, they fit so well, I need at least one more! (Also purchased some Austrian chocolate bars while there!)
Will start tomorrow's thread in an hour or so! ~~Molly
