I was planning to get our flu shots today but Jim spent the afternoon going back and forth to the pot so I'll try again on Thursday. Tomorrow is shopping day for me so it won't work.
Sandy: One time I did jury duty I was an alternate and was dismissed when the jury went to decide. That was in NY. Then, out here in CA they don't choose me because of my police affiliations. I would obviously take the police officer's side. Now when I get the notice, I respond that I am a caretaker of my DH and they don't want me.
Harriet: Hope your gut problem is all straight now....I sure was suffering with my problem after being at the hospital. I usually visit the john daily at the same time each day. You are soooo good helping your nabors.
Nancy: I'm soooo sorry to hear about your nephew's DD.....OMG, 30 is way too young to die!....I will pray for her family including you. Where did she live? Did she have a family...like a hubbie or children?
Let's get into our circle of wagons now and sing by the fire. "WE CAN DO THIS, YES WE CAN...WE CAN LOSE NEW POUNDS...MY THIN FRIENDS!"

When Fred got home from golf yesterday he just didn’t look right so I asked if he was okay and he said no as I’m having real bad stomach cramps. I told him to go lay down but he sat there for a while until he finally took my advice and slept for about three hours and then felt fine. He thinks it might have been dehydration from sitting in the jury room Monday for four hours and there was nothing to drink. Or it could have been the water on the golf course as he said it’s normally cold but this time it was lukewarm. But he isn’t golfing today which is normal as he doesn’t golf two days in a row anymore as it tires him out too much.
We have to get groceries today as well. I think Debbie might stop by later as she said she will be in town to meet up with some friends for dinner. I think that’s nice that with her and Jim they do a lot together but she has no problem with him having time with just his friends and vice versa. That was always an issue with Jeff as he resented her spending time with friends as he only had one friend and felt Debbie needed to cut ties with hers. I was surprised when everything came to a head to hear how he manipulated her since she has a masters in counseling but she said it made her realize you don’t always see it when you are living it.
Going to be a little warmer today but still very comfortable and then only in the 60’s next week.

Good morning. I had a wonderful night and am ready to dress and walk outdoors. My walking friend doesn't like going outdoors, and she will be gone today. It makes me feel really alive. Hall walking is BORING. Kathie, yesterday was a little better. Getting back to real activity helps. When I walk, it usually is a wonderful kick start. My doc sent me a note and said if it didn't get better to come in. I see him in October, so won't likely need to do that.
Bobby had an okay day. We are just taking one day at a time. He has his chapel service and time in the gym to look forward to today. We are also going to his urologist today. The day will fly by. I guess I need to go back and read yesterday because I don't remember what Nancy said. Have a good day all. We can do it.

Hi everyone thanks for the start Kathie. Thanks for reminding me about the flu shot. I’ll have to call here to see if they are going to have it like they did last year. Otherwise I will go to Walgreens. I was on jury duty twice. Now I am too old so they don’t call me anymore. My grand niece lived in Racine. She didn’t have any children and was not married.
Sandy, sorry Fred was sick yesterday, but happy he was fine after a nap. Hope you get to see Debbie. Your weather is the same as ours. Beautiful.
Harriet, I didn’t read about your problem either. Glad it is better today and you will have a busy day.
I felt better yesterday after I talked to Tony in CA for an hour, checked in with my son in NJ, talked with Bill and went for a walk around the campus and talked to many people sitting out to enjoy the weather. Bill will check out with everyone today in Union Grove and pick me up at 2 for lunch. I’ll dance from 10-12. It looks like another beautiful day here. Stay safe and healthy! See you later
